Been a loyal customer of Costco for many years. Ordered a 28 cu ft. Samsung refrigerator on line. Got a phone call stating the refrigerator would be delivered on Friday, November 22, 2019 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. We get a call from the delivery company named XPO at 6:15 pm saying they couldn’t find our address on iMaps and couldn’t deliver it. Mind you they still had 1 hr and 45 minutes remaining on the delivery window. I offered to meet them at the model home around the corner, driver agreed and then “no show”. Called Costco in the morning and they assured us we would have our unit on Monday. Now its 5 days later and despite XPO sending us emails telling us the unit would be delivered within a certain time period, they have not shown up. This has been the most frustrating experience we have had with Costco, XPO Logistics and Samsung (Samsung hires XPO for their delivery services). Very, very disappointed in all three companies.
Today i had a bad day. Not at costco like you may expect, just in general. This morning you see i went to walmart to buy the new ak-12 for my 7th eldest who will be born next week and her name will be Hamzah Bob JR named after Hamzah the great (me). However when I went to purchase this weapon they didnt let me because of my track record of accidental firing. apparently some complaint stated that his son was eliminated after a stray bullet exited my piece. I said i didnt mean it but some people dont say everything. I therefore reported the employee to the authorities where he is currently waiting to have a game over moment in saudi arabia. I still havent been told that i can buy the device yet. 0 out of 5 stars.
I ordered a living room set in early August from Costco online. The site said it would be delivered in 2-4 weeks.
Here it is Nov.1st and I still don’t have it. I’ve called Costco customer service numerous times and get a run around. Told it’s the shippers fault. I’ve asked to speak to supervisors and they tell me they’ll look into it and call be back. Have yet to receive call back after speaking to various supervisors. I purchased a new home this summer and still have no living room furniture and all I get from Costco is ” I’m so sorry “. That’s it for me with Costco after having been a member for years and spending lots of money at Costco.
On Sundays COSTCO is like a shopping cart gridlock. Therefore we try to avoid shopping there on weekends.

I purchased a bracelet at Costco (Potomac Mills), in Woodbridge, VA on Friday, November 8, 2019. I wrote a personal check since I did not have my Visa credit card with me. The cashier accepted the check and told me to wait at the counter until she returned. She came back 10-15 minutes later and asked me to follow her to the office. She told me that she contacted my bank to verify that I had sufficient funds in my account to buy the item. Fortunately, the bank needed more information to release the information. Otherwise, I would not have known that a Costco employee was accessing my checking account without my knowledge. I was not informed of this process in advance.
Why is it we have TWO SAM’s CLUB’s In my town, Lakeland, Florida, but there is NO COSTCO anywhere closer than Brandon, Florida, a 45 minute drive? I want to join Costco but I don’t want a 90 minute round trip. Can’t something be done about this?

I too have been trying repeatedly to have someone from Costco customer service return my phone calls regarding major custom purchase using one of their selected providers for home services, special kiosk orders.
I have spent hours on phone, have emailed with a request several times, waited on phone like you, for almost an hour then transferred so many times, I was ultimately disconnected.
Am so VERY disappointed in ‘customer service’!

I have been a Costco member for years and have always had a great experience shopping at Costco until today. I placed an order for an item and due to broken Costco processes my order was canceled. I called them and the agent tried to help but couldn’t due to limitations on what she could do. I requested to speak to the supervisor at coscto.com and i have never talked to such a rude supervisor in my life. I do not wish to mentioned his name online, but do expect Costco to contact me.
If this is the type of customer service Costco is going to provide to it customers, then i do not wish to do business with them in the future.

Costco acts like they care about their customers but they don’t. They were having chairs testing and my phone fell in it. The guy moved the chair and broke the phone the Costco rep could care less.
South Hill WA Costco a greeter yelled at my husband and I for not having a membership card. I ignored her and walked away because I get my kitten’s prescriptions filled here and that’s it..that’s where my vet recommended I go. He stayed back arguing with her saying hes been to the pharmacy before and you do not need a membership to fill a prescription. she continued to yell at him saying GOOD LUCK YOU WONT BE ABLE TO PURCHASE IT WITHOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP. Have been a member since 2012, about to cancel once I find a new primary credit card. Have been happy with my executive membership up until yesterday. My online orders this last week have all been canceled. When I called to ask why, I am told another department that can not be reached by phone has that answer. I have been on the phone for 2.5 hours with 3 different customer service reps since yesterday morning. The only thing I am told is that someone will call be back. The last agent Tom’s me he was the highest ranking employee I am allowed to speak to, yet he had no answers for me.
My membership is good. I used it in club today. My credit card is good. I used it in club today. The problem lies with customer service and their inability to actually provide service. Why would I want a membership where I can not place online orders??
Spouse and I were atthe Gig Harbor store tonight. Jacob the ASSISTANT manager was arguing with me and my husband regarding the difficult time with the belt and the checker Lupe. Jessie the person who was interfering on behalf of LUPE called the manager. We waited at the front for a manager because of Jessie calling the manager. We had to walk back in because no manager came. Then RICK and JACOB came over and called the girl up Jessie and she said that I was CONDESCENDING!!!!! SHE CALLED THE MANAGERS, SHE SAID I WAS CONDESCENDING AND STORMED OFF. We were not able to resolve anything with JESSIE, RICK, OR THE ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER JACOB and left. I called and JACOB CAME ON THE LINE AND DEFENDED ALL OF HIS STAFF AND SAID THAT THEY REVIEWED THE VIDEO AND SAW THAT LUPE DID NOTHING WRONG. My spouse who was witness got on the phone and told JACOB THAT THE VIDEO DOES NOT HAVE ANY SOUND. HE WAS DEFENDING THE EMPLOYEE WITHOUT HEARING WHAT THE EMPLOYEE WAS SAYING TO THE CUSTOMER. NO, IT IS NOT OK TO TREAT LONG TIME CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. GIG HARBOR HAS A REVOLVING DOOR WITH EMPLOYEES, WE CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER THAN WHAT THIS LOCATION IS DELIVERING. PERHAPS AN APOLOGY.
Have just opened a membership at BJs due to declining quality and selection at Costco. Also, Costco makes it nearly impossible to leave feedback remarks and to contact customer service.
Purchased 2 Samsung phones for my husband & I in Oct. with the understanding they had a $150.00 Costco rebate each (that would be sent in 10 -14 weeks). Received 2 rebates Costco cards (1 for each phone) with the statement “Multiple rebates may arrive on different day based on the terms of fulfillment for the rebate. This cash card may not be the full amount that you might be expecting. If you are expecting more than one rebate, please allow sufficient time for the Post Office to deliver. Per the rebate form, Member Benefit rebates are processed 8-10 weeks from the date submitted. If you are expecting an additional amount for the wireless number below, that portion of your rebate is pending 12-14 weeks from date of submittal.” This IS NOT what was advertised when purchased that the cash back would be in doled out in increments. What a waste of
postage and consumer trust. In the past Costco was true to it word but since this is going thur Mypromochoice and Verizon makes me wonder who is sitting on my rebate drawing interest, rather pay what is due to the consumer. NOT happy – loyal Costco customer.
I purchased a Samsung cell phone from the Costco at 3333 University Boulevard in Winter Park, Florida several months ago. I called the Wireless Advocate kiosk at that Costco, last night 11/14/2018, because I am having a problem with my phone that by provider, AT & T could not resolve. I called the kiosk 3 times yesterday and each time the phone rang 8 times and just hung up. I called the warehouse’s customer service and a manager took my name and telephone number and said they would walk over to the kiosk to have someone call me. After 2 hours passed and I didn’t hear anything, I called customer service again and about an hour later a Wireless Advocate named Jeremy (I think) called me and expressed a negative attitude. He told me that they had been busy all day and that when they are busy they do not answer the telephone. He even referred to me as “man” which I corrected him on. I have been a LOYAL Costco member for over 25 years and I’m hurt and stunned that I paid almost a thousand dollars for a device and not be able to contact the people I bought it from or get help when I need it.
The Cell Phone associates in Costco are vendors and don’t work for the store. They are a private company that rents space in the warehouse. Read their name tags next time.
Hi, I bought 2 cell phones from Costco Deer-filed warehouse (OH) for which I should receive $600 Costco Cash Cards. NO problems monthly) has brought a “lost” check w/i Citibank Processing Dept. while my accts. are in potential jeopardy of fraud, the “investigation’ is cloudy as to timeline & procedure. Sorry doesn’t do it, folks. Many calls later, am faced w. freezing my accts. while waiting for a letter 1 month+ after investigation started. This presents problems w. other check activity.

Tried to fill my propane tank at a Costco outlet in Canada. They refused to accept US tank certification so I cannot buy propane from Costco in Canada. Their attitude was extremely prejudicial towards me because I’m American. The manager intimated that they are doing this to protest Trumps Tariff’s. You are a US company doing business in Canada and you support not selling propane to Americans by claiming not to accept US tank certifications. I had no trouble buying propane elsewhere but NOT AT COSTCO in CANADA. I’m going to rescind my membership as you treat your members like shit in Canada.

What a nightmare I am going through with the arrival last week of a 55″ Samsung TV that I purchased online during Costco’s Labor Day Wknd. Sale!
Other than the shipping taking a week to arrive, I was tracking my pkg. through Costco’s national shipper, and when it arrived, there were 2 guys from an unknown, 3rd party shipper that took the final hand off! I suspected there might be technical issues with my tv, and within a week the color on the screen started blinking between white and red continuously!
I contacted customer service after sending an email complaint, and then had to drive 150 miles round trip to the nearest Costco to purchase a replacement yesterday!
At this point I didn’t trust Costco’s shipper’s handling of my tv, and I will never purchase electronics online from Costco again!
I just wanted an opportunity to say that Costco should offer its members an alternative in purchasing power for big ticket items that they don’t have on hand when just buying casually. It would be a benefit for the store to sell bigger ticket items and not everyone wants to go through having credit to be able to buy. In house financing or third party finance company such as; Progressive Finance, SnapFinance, Hearth.com, allow for loans based on finance charge. It has some high finance charges, but it also encourages people to pay them off quick. I think this is worth looking into. Thanks

On August 21, 2018 I went to Costco located at 3250 Norhtlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33403. After I shopped and packed my car, I then fell in the parking lot. It was approximately 3:30 PM. The pavement was not level with a manhole and I was in a handicap parking space. As I was pushing my cart up the ramp, my left foot stepped on the unleveled pavement by the manhole. My ankle went sidewise and that caused me to fall to the ground. Then the cart I was pushing up the ramp rolled back into me, as I was lying on the ground. There were 2 Costco employees that were gentlemen on their break outside. As soon as I fell, they came to my rescue immediately. They were there in seconds. It is a good thing because I was in a position where I was not able to get up on my own. They helped me up and then the one gentleman stated āOh heyā. Yes, I knew him. I was already embarrassed that I fell. Then I was even extra embarrassed to know this person and for him to have witnessed and saw me fall. It was my friend Juan Pino. Well we chatted for a couple minutes and then I left.
Do you by chance have security cameras that face the parking lot that could possibly have caught my fall on film?
I seemed ok the day of my fall, but the next few days my body was full of aches and pain, especially my back. I guess the fall jarred some muscles and/or something. On Monday, August 27th I went to my Rheumatologist and told him about the fall and I asked him for an injection in my back to help with the pain.
I was so embarrassed I just wanted to get the heck out of there as soon as possible. My mom and my good friend Rhonda were extremely upset to find out that I left and that I did not fill out an accident report. However, that is not why I am writing. I am writing because I am extremely concerned for other handicap people and their well being. This is in the handicapped area and another handicapped person could possibly fall and they might not be as fortunate as I am and could possibly break a bone or something worst. I feel it is imperative that I bring this to your attention.

Dont buy at tires at Costco. They will not be able to deliver the tires and have it installed on the day they promise. Their delay will cost you additional money and time. It is better to buy at any other store where it can be done immediately. Costco auto is bad.
I totally agree on that. Also, they are very rude if you say something about their poor service. I had to return 4 new tires because they took their sweet time and couldn’t install those in 8 hours. Also, be careful when you buy a car battery. They just give you a wrong battery and send you home. It is a horrible place. Costco should get out of tires and battery business because they can’t manage it! I am not going to renew my membership because of their unprofessional poor customer service. Enough is enough!
Totally agree with Costco tire service. I purchase 2 tires from them with a 60,000 mile so-called warranty. After a little over 20,000 miles, the tires are completely bald…not just a little, but both entire tires are completely worn down. When I walked into the tire center and began speaking to their tire supervisor, another employee stated, “are those the Premier tires?” before I stated which tires I had or had even shown them the paperwork. In other words, the employee already knew which tires I had purchased based on them being completely worn down. They refused to offer even a partial credit for those tires, justifying their reasoning by stating it was a mechanical issue with the vehicle. If it was a mechanical issue, the entire tire would not have been bald. Costco has ruined my trust.

I have always liked shopping at Costco but the hours of operation on the weekends are totally insane. In which, theyāre only open until 6:00 pm on a Saturday and they do know that most members do work long hours during the week?
I get that Costco looks out for all its employees but give me a break and those are bankers hours for heaven sake. I work 10-15 hours a day and must meet contract deadlines and money never sleeps. In fact, itās my belief, that if Costco donāt change their hours the competition will walk right over them. I did renew my membership at Costco but by the time it took getting it done had no time for shopping so I opened an account at Sams Club as well which o hate. However, they’ve a lot more flexible hours of operations but hope that Costco takes a look at this.
I would like to make a suggestion, is it possible having a part hot and part sweat sausage iteam.I love cooking with both and discussed it with one of your employees from the meat department in the 3rd Ave Brooklyn store and he suggested I contact Costco, but I did forget to. I believe that most of us who by produce and other items would like to see a reduction in the amount of plastic used in the packaging of these items. Anything biodegradable would be better. For example, you have beautiful apples in large hard plastic containers these could be in something that is more eco-friendly and they would still taste just as delicious.

I bought several sets of Alpan solar lights from the Naples Fl. store I don’t know when I bought the last set of lights but I do know that I am not happy with any of the lights! As of now, I have 12 light heads in the trash! I paid more than I usual, for these lights thinking they would last longer. But that is not the case. I will not spend anymore of my money on these lights. I am very dissatisfied!

I love Costco and everything about it !! The,prices , the quality food, the store and how its run!! You see , i was an employee with Costco for 3 years !! As of May 11,2018, everything changed for the worse!! First of all, I loved my job immensely !! I never was Tardy or hardly missed any day of work and my yearly evaluations were always great!! I was in for the longhaul with Costco and the pay was exceptional not mention the benefits !! One night everything changed my world came crashing down!! I was working late one night and I was t feeling well and low sugar as I,had no food most of,the day!! I happend to be by the drink dispenser by food court when I witnessed one of managers pouring hisself a Pepsi !! Being that he was doing that and I was feelin low,sugar I felt it would be okay if i poured myself a,small sip soda I a small cup !! Unbenounced to me one of the lower mangers by name of,Josh (Rockwall Tx) Costco saw me do this!! First of all I,had no idea u could be fired for doing such a small crime lol !! He turned me into bigwig at my store next thing I know I suspended for 7’days no pay then fired !!!!!!!! No remorse nothing over sip pepsie like one size fits all penalty!!! I write a long humble letter apologizimg what I did and never ever have I done this or,anything dishonest to Costco ,, I loved my job !!! So much so now im unemployed no money and single mom who can’t get unemployment because they put word theft on my termination papers !!!! What gives????? I feel wrongfully terminated !! On Sunday 4/29/18 around 1:30 pm, my family and I went to North Plainfield #1166 route 22 East NJ store for grocery shopping. I left my pocketbook on the top of the shopping cart and the shopping cart was with my mother and me all time. When we retuned around to pick a box of cherry tomato, I realize my shopping cart was gone. I reacted right away by checking all the shopping carts around us and only saw a shopping cart full with clothing items parked right next to me. Originally, I thought it could be other customer accidently took my shopping cart. I went to the front desk ask for help and asked for the camera footage. They told me there is no camera installed in the produce area. Meanwhile, the head of cashier told me he would checked the back of office seeing if there is any shopping cart swapped with mine by other cashier who is on duty of organizing the store items. After 10 minutes waiting, I had no choice but to inform the store manager that I had to report to police for the lost wallet, phone and car key. He said he would asked all the staffs to search for me and asked me wait for a little longer before reporting to the police. After he sent out the message to the staffs on floor, immediately a female Costco staff pulled a shopping cart with my pocketbook and told me she accidently swapped my shopping cart with hers. She was in the clothing section organizing the items. However, my shopping cart was disappeared in the produce area. These two sections are not even closely setting next to each other. I am not drawing any conclusion yet, but I strongly suggest Costco headquarter to investigate this matter.

Just got back from Costco after trying to return a bag of Power Greens aka spinach/leafy greens from Costco because I bought them on the third and they were already rotten 6 days before their expiration date on the 9th sorry for no picture I let Costco throw the bag away and didn’t think it would turn into this. Anyways I kept the bag in my fridge waiting to go back to Costco and try to return them. I end up finally remembering to put the greens in my car today as I had stuff to do in Costcos neck of the woods and I could attempt to return the rotten greens I figured it would be a long shot since it had been so long past the expiration but I’m sure I’m not the only person to return this brand of greens so I tried anyways. They said what I figured no because it was too far past the expiration.
So I go to the back of the store to get some more replacement greens for my fruit/workout smoothies. I find the same thing 4-5 days before the expiration 10/40 bags of Power Greens were already beginning to rot.
So I bring this to the attention of the customer service agent to show her I didn’t just make this up as she had implied I had earlier. The manager comes over and is not impressed she keeps asking if I bough the items I repeat multiple times no that I’m showing that you guys Costco are selling bags of power greens that are already rotting and the closer to the sell date the more rotten they become and I am not making it up to get a free bag of Power Greens or score $8. Manager says well I’m not responsible for rotten food and you’re ultimately responsible for what you buy it’s not my problem. I agree with her it is my responsibility I should of checked I just trusted that Costco was selling good food and if not I could return it granted I did screw the pooch but this isn’t the point. She again repeats well I’m not responsible for food rotting I said I know but you are responsible for not putting rotten food back on the shelves and reselling it to Juneau residents. She then says well we don’t live in the lower forty eight and gives me that speel. I tell her I understand but you still can’t put known rotten food back on the shelves I just pointed out and brought to your attention that 10 bags had already began to rot and go bad. She then calls to return the items to the shelf. I say wait what you can’t put those back they’re already rotting and rotten. She says that’s not her responsibility it’s the customers to not buy it. Long story short manager authorized and sent back 10 bags of Power Greens to be put back on the shelf and resold to consumers which had already began to rot on the outside you know what that means on the inside 4-5 days before expiration date I’m not talking a few pieces of greens you can selectively pick out I’m talking a noticeable clump of rot.
Again I don’t care about my refund what I do care about is a local business putting bad food back on the shelves when someone points out the food was bad and reselling it as good food. Mind you I was there while she called for a produce and a cold return and handed the box to the worker and he walked off with it to return it to the cold produce not once from the time she made the phone call as I bid her goodday did she ever rescind the order of putting rotten/rotting food back on the shelf.
Two sides of every story I encourage you to call and ask the manager her side and maybe investigate this happening on your own I hope this isn’t a regular practice. But people should be aware in my opinion not sure how Ecoli and other food illnesses work but I think they’re serious and should be taken seriously.

I went to Costco’s New Castle Delaware by the mall Christiana mall before I could even get in the door a lady approached me and asked me questions that were relevant to my Costco visit she had a Costco uniform on her name was Tammy MS I don’t know why she’s asked me these questions confused she didn’t let me come through the first door and told me I need to go through another door as if I’m not a Costco shopper and then have a Costco card go through the other door and another lady yells at me Grace A through a crowd of people so you need to stop at the service desk I stopped at the service desk and it was quickly cleared up that I could enter the store shop freely bye-bye been up already uncomfortable because I’ve been harassed by the first Tammy MS just to go through another door feel embarrassed treated different frowned upon and very I’m comfortable with spending my morning so after him yelled that ridiculed and belittled in the store caused a scene that was an appropriate disrespectful and annoying and I’m coming to spend my money and this is the treatment I get from Cosco I don’t think Cosco deserve any of my money for me even to want to shop at Cosco customer service is terrible I never want to go anywhere where I felt embarrassed discriminated against picked on pointed out yelled that just to spend my money and don’t appreciate getting harassed 1130 in the morning

I had purchased a Samsung Curved UHD TV from Costco on June 07, 2017. However, roughly four months later the TV unexpectedly projected horizontal and vertical lines on the right-middle area. I brought back the TV to Costco in Orland Park for either repair or exchange, but they said itās out of its 90 day return policy although to my knowledge itās still covered under the 2 year warranty provided by Costco. They advised me to contact Costco Concierge for technical support. After my phone call with Costco Concierge they decided to send Samsungās third party technicians to my home to diagnose the TV. Samsungās third party technicians came and evaluated what they had seen followed by a report sent to Samsung. Later in the week Samsung called stating that the TV had physical damage and is not covered under warranty. I told them that the TV never had been exposed to any physical damage, but due to its poor design making it fragile resulting in screen damage from simply unboxing and setting up the curved TV gently. The dispute went on with their representative who wasnāt understanding and not willing to understand the situation. So I asked him to give me an estimate of the repair cost and he surprisingly gave me the phone number of the same third party company who diagnosed the TV earlier which evidently proves the conflict of interest and explains why they decided to report their diagnosis as āphysical damageā. Interestingly, the repair cost was more than the cost of buying a new TV a grand total of ($618) where the TV itself costed only $606.
I decided to file a complaint with the consumer protection office and BBB, however, the officer advised me to try to solve the problem with the seller first but if the seller failed to fix the problem then they will step in to proceed with an official complaint against the seller.
For more than 10 years I have been an extremely grateful Costco member and never had a single problem since Costco has always been very helpful and known to stand for the rights of their dearly customers. I truly hope this problem can be resolved simply without further ado .Iām asking all CEOās and managers to help me and my family regain trust in Costco which we dearly love to heart and forever remain a grateful member for many more years to come.

I recently had my tire fixed at the Costco Tire Center on Cabot Road in Laguna Nigel, California and was extremely pleased. They did an amazing job and were very friendly. I have gone to other Costco Tire Centers over the last 20 years, but the Cabot Road location has the best customer service. Even though it is out of my way, I will make a point to bring all of my cars there.
I have been trying to order medicine as a refill. Your Niles IL location has repeatedly called a wrong doctor. Every time I talk to them I explain the correct doctors name and phone number. Each and every time they call the wrong doctor. My physician has several days in a row sent the script to them again. They keep claiming that they don’t receive it. I’m now out of medicine and not very happy about this. Obviously the staff members don’t care and have not been properly trained. I’m really disappointed by their lack of service. I would think a pharmacy would be better trained. Costco advertising that you don’t have to be a member to purchase your medicine. They made me join in order to purchase my prescriptions, then they can’t refill?
I live in the UK now, and you would think that the brilliant shopping experience of Costco would be felt here in the stores, but it is NOT!

Has anyone ever had an incident RESOLVED by Costco? Their customer service seems to be non-existent or PATHETIC, take your pick. I have sent 4-5 emails to try to bring attention to an incident that I was involved in at a Costco premises recently. The churlish replies received seem to suggest that they do not like to hear about things going wrong. And when I asked the customer service person to resend the report to the highest level, they didn’t. What a pity they are so quick to take my money, but cannot understand my requests….
I have been a member of Costco since they opened the Bend Oregon Store – many decades ago.
I am now over 70 and have difficulty walking. I very much need to use an electric cart to get around the store. As of my shopping trip last week Costco has 2 working carts and 3 non-working carts. Bend Oregon has a growing population of over 90,000 and over 180,000 plus shop the only Costco within 150 miles. Many of these people are retirees that come to Bend to enjoy the rest of their days – some of that time is spent shopping at Costco. There are at least 15 handicapped parking spaces, but until about 2 years ago they had NO ELECTRIC CARTS, now down to only 2 carts. My store manager tells me this is a “Corporate” issue and there is nothing locally that can be done. Someone please hear my plea. Every week in order to shop I wait up to 30 minutes for someone to finish their shopping and I wait outside the door to try to “snag” a cart so I can get my prescriptions and groceries picked up. Corporate: please help me and others or we will be taking our shopping to Fred Meyer (Kroger’s) where they alway have at least 10 carts waiting to be used (while others are being used in their store). Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please hurry!

You have a frozen strawberry problem. Berries delivered to your store in Clackamas Oregon have been defrosted and refrozen somewhere since initial freezing and are delivered to the store as a solid block of ice. The berries can’t be loosened to remove individual berries from the bag. I have found the only to free them up is to wrap the bag in a towel, place them on a concrete floor and hammer them with a mallet! This is not acceptable! I have talked to employees who agree it’s unaccceptable, but the problem persists and also exists to a lesser extent with other frozen products. Yesterday I had to slam a bag of blueberries against the shelving. Somebody needs to fix this!
After Costco’s successful opposition to the Oregon measures to have large companies contribute a minuscule amount to help fund public school programs that can only help the company with educated workers, we have sent you our cards. We once shopped at the first Costco in Seattle over 35 years ago but will never knowingly shop at Costco again. Shame on the company for on one hand having benevolent employee policies while stifling the good of the community in opposition to needed public school programs. Remember an educated customer base has the greater capacity to purchase products sold at Costco. We are entirely disappointed in the decision of the company to oppose efforts help the community educate it’s children as well as what we thought was part of the business model.
I am having a membership issue with the Clovis, Ca. Location. I want to get a “household” card that your website says I should be able to get. The store says I already have one. I Tell them my wife and I have 2 individual cards, but we do not have a household card. Th bestie says to bring in proof of residency for individuals you want on the household card. My wife did this and was denied. I tried the next day with the same result. Why offer a benefit that you won’t actually give? We have been members for many years and just upgraded to executive members this past year. Now I am feeling betrayed after being so loyal all these years. Costco on Venture Drive in Duluth, GA has one of the rudest upper management staff by the name Tom. If you have to deal with the public please make sure that you greet all customers with the upper most respect. I understand we all have rough days but do not bring your problems to work. I suggest he learns how to have people skills and learn how to deal with the public or find another occupation that does not have to deal with the public.

Dear Costco: In the Aug.1 copy of USA Today there is a story by Brett Murphy on the “Shameful abuse of truckers”. It mentions Walmart, Target, and Costco of being guilty of forcing truckers into debt, making them work from ports to distribution centers 20 hours a day and paying them pennies an hour. ” You’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do, Lucy”!!! Have you contacted Mr. Murphy? They claim they have photos and video interviews. I would hope that my Costco would not be involved in such shady illegal practices.
Was a member of Costco for many years, in fact I belonged when it was called Price Club. This year I finally did not renew as the annual price just keeps rising, now it is what $60. For $35 I get annual membership for BJ’s as a veteran where as Costco could care less. Besides the closest Costco to me is 40+ miles. Costco has gonje downhill as of late.
I ordered our window roller shades through Costco.com on 5/7/17 which was installed by”Blinds, Shades, Shutters, and More..” on 7/7/17 (2 months after the order). To my surprise after a long wait, they didn’t install the complete sample they showed me which should have included a valance or “cassette” as they called. Dream Scott is the lady from Blinds, Shades, Shutter, and More who came to our house with all her samples. I showed her my written quote from 3-day Blinds which included everything we wanted including the cassettes. She showed me the cost of my order which is almost the same with 3 day-blinds quote. She didn’t mention the valance or cassette not included knowing that it was included with the quote we had at 3-day blinds. I went through their company since I have a good customer relationship with Costco. I paid about $3500 for these roller shades which look so bare and incomplete without the valance which I am demanding from them to install.
I made my complaints at Costco.com representative since July but have not received any resolution until this date. I have to tell them my issues every time I called and they will always promise that someone will help me and I will be contacted within 24 hours. It has been a cycle until now that I have to call them back several times since no one can get resolution to my problems.
Dream Scott and her manager named Sam has been ignoring my calls and could not give any kind of resolution too as of this time. I feel so cheated and ignored by “Blinds, Shades, Shutters, and More…”

My Sister and I went shopping at the Manteca Ca, Costco store. We purchased a few items, I beleive it was five. My sister is the member card holder. As we we’re ranged up the cashier instructed me to swip my card, for the amount of $47. and change. So I swiped and type in my pin number. But we wanted to buy Ice Cream Sundea, but the machine was broken. Therefore, cashier voided the Ice Cream and then the cashier said I couldn’t pay for the items because I wasn’t the Costco Memeber holder. The cashier said he voided my debit card transaction and asked my sister to use her. Which she did and cashier gave her the receipt. By the time we got to our car, my sister got an alert from her bank. She made contact with them just be informed that Costco had just charged to her account $335.55 which put her in the negative. Then I cheched my account and Costco Charged me for the Items we purchased. We went quickly to talk to Costco Customer services and they could not located the transaction and after we proved what we purchased and confirm the Bank transactions. Manger, just apologized and said she couldn’t do anything, “errors happen” two fricken hrs wasted, money taken, enormous inconvenience. This incident occurred on July 31, 2017 at 16:31pm

In feb 2018, I ordered 2 sets of identical prescription glasses for $189 dollars they were to be blended. The 1st set worked fine. The second set I tried on for the 1st time last week ( 6/21/18). Its important to note that they had never been out of the case since purchase. Guess what–they had given me cheap readers.
Sunday (6/24/18) I went to the West Des Moines Cosco for help. The manager confirmed they were readers and there lab may have made a mistake. Today (6/25/18), I get a call from another manager (Milli) who said essentially “too bad I can’t help you but I can send you to another manager”. Now I am wait a call from another manager who can’t be reached for 2 days (6/27/18).

I like shopping as Costco but hate that your coupon books and Costco Connection mag doesn’t disclose all the prices along with each product. I live a good distance away from a local Costco and want to know the price of something before I make the trip. Recently I was interested in a product advertised in Costco Connections but there was no price. I went to the Costco website to check for the price but I was forced to have to sign in with email, password, the whole nine yards. I felt insulted that I couldn’t simply find a price for this product. Why aren’t you member friendly by full disclosure of you product prices, making it easier to know what we will be paying for something before we walk in the door, or make the drive. On 7/25/17, we arrived at Costco before 10:00 am to purchase a tire. It took nearly 3 hours for the tire service to install “one” tire. Another customer with a 9:50 am appointment had to wait 2 1/2 hour to get “one” tire changed.
When I walked by the workshop at 11:07 am, there were 3 cars sitting idle. Only one technician was in the shop, having a lengthy conversation on the phone. When I checked again at noon, none of the technicians were in the workshop.
There was no supervisor making sure that things are done in a timely manner.
I have purchased tires exclusively at Costco for many years with the wait time of 1 to 1 ½ hours. It is totally unreasonable to wait for 3 hours to get āoneā tire changed. This lousy service reflects badly on a company like Costco which prides itself on offering quality in every area of business.
Perhaps you should go else where. The people in the tire shops are times over worked with no relief. You poor members should suck it up sometimes. I’ve never seen so many cry babies as you people are.

COSTCO HAVE THE WORST COSTOMER SERVICE IN THE FOODS DEPARTMENT. So I called ahead of time to order a pizza. They said it is going to be a 40 minutes wait. I was like okay. I go and do some shopping inside the store and then come back out and pick up the pizza then go home. Finished checked out all the stuffs (like aways spent more then I planned.) Stand in line for about 10 minutes to check out. Then went out to pick up the pizza another 10 minutes. When I get to the cashier they told me another 25 minutes wait for the pizza. I asked to speak to a manager on duty. She said I should of pick up my pizza 20 minutes ago. SHE TOLD ME “WE DON’T DO HOLD”. I was not even asking to have it hold or anything. I was insitthe store spending money. End of the story Costco have the worst customer service. I will not renew my card or my families. Plus my company.

You must know that Turkey has an extremely oppressive government that has quashed free speech completely and imprisons academics, liberal thinkers, artists and others on a regular basis. Their prisons are full of people who are only guilty of speaking their minds! The firing and arresting of professors en masse was published in the international press when it occurred many months ago.
Protecting workers’s rights and the environment are crucial priorities but so is stepping up for basic human rights. As a professor myself, I mourn for the loss of the teachers who would shape the next generations in Turkey and I urge you to do the socially and morally responsible thing here: refuse to buy from Turkey until they take serious steps to address these issues and make reforms. You have great power. Please use it in this instance.

I ordered a refrigerator 3 weeks ago. So far nobody takes action to help me out although it was said refrigerator will be delivered in 1-2 weeks when I was placing order. I have been living with a Dorm sized refrigerator for more than 3 weeks in summer with no hope when the refrigerator will be delivered. Is that a great company like Costco should do to their customer?
CEVA is the worst and Costco doesn’t seem to care. After doing some investigating I was told by a COSTCO Customer Service Supervisor that the vendor chooses the delivery company, I then reached out to the vendor and was informed that COSTCO chose the delivery company and they no longer work with CEVA because of their horrible customer service.

I have worn hearing aids since 1994 and the savings is great at Costco! Costco doesn’t employ audiollgist so they need to be sure your hearing loss is not of another serious health issue such as TIA etc. We researched the aids they sell and they are quality aids, name brands. You can get an audiologist to test your hearing at a ENT doctor office once a year for no charge in most ins plans.
I am exhausting all resourses in this matter. I need a rep from Costco to please reply to me. I started a claim with Costco On May 5, 2017. A Ecommerce supervisor responded and I forwarded all my information. I ordered a swings through Costco. It was delivered and the truck which delivered the swings caused nearly $15,000 in damages to my home. I had to go through my homeowners insurance policy to make repairs. Since then I have attempted to resolve my claim with Costco although the Costco rep which is dealing with my claim has not responded to my emails or phone calls in nearly 2 weeks. The way that Costco has failed to provided customer support is extremely unprofesional and disatifying. I am hoping that a different rep read this and help me.

I’d like to give information regarding my experience with online ordering and delivering. On 4-27-17 I ordered a gazebo online. Shipped shows 5-4-17. charged to my credit card too. I got a call a few days later by May8th that my delivery will be on 5-15-17. I was exited and waited for that arrival of my gazebo. Nothing came and no one called. I called CEVA logistics to find out what happened. No one was able to assist me at that time. they had me call back the next day. Same story again the next day, CEVA didn’t know why the package wasn’t delivered to me. I then started calling costco customer service and spoke to few people. Costco also had to go thru CEVA and came back to me with same information (we are going to find out but it’ll take about 24-48 hrs ) Tired of waiting and waiting with no concrete answers. I decided to call myself and figure things out. The internet being my best resource, I contacted corporate office on the 17th Torida said she’ll note this problem and someone will call me. Then I placed a few calls again, I find out the item had been lost at some point. Then Costco (Kevin) from resolution specialist was the one that kinda took my case. After I told them that someone had to take responsibility for this issue. I than given a called telling me that they found my item and it was at the wrong facility so I got a new delivery date 5-19-17. This day came and no delivery!
Then again I was changed for the 3rd time a delivery date. 5-22-17 Monday… This time they assured me that i’ll be delivered. TIRED and FRUSTRATED I still allowed this to happen. I waited!!! no one called and no delivery! I called again CEVA and the item was left in the warehouse by the drivers that day.
I called costco super mad and irritated. After discussions, I waited for 5-22 and the item finally reach my home but big problem the item was seriously damaged. SO I rejected it. ….. I should be contacted regarding this issue. It’s just unacceptable and uncosiderate towards a long time costumer.

I feel your frustration I too am still waiting on an order made the first week of July, shipped do they say on July 20th. This is their 3rd attempt to deliver the mattress today I was given aug 18-23 as my delivery time frame. Wasted time taking to young customer service people at Costco whose hands aren’t tied. Really pour processes. Was told there will be some compensation once delivered accepted. The worst CS I have delt with and my first online Costco order.
I had the exact experience! I believe Costco has a known issue that it is unwilling to address. They are taking advantage of peopleās long term loyalty. Companies fail over time whe people are dissatisfied. Arrogance is the beginning to an end…
I have been a loyal Costco member for over 40 years. I began as a Price Club member which merged with Costco. I also belong to Sam’s Club, but historically, I have always done 95% of my shopping at Costco. Even though the lines are long, I have always endured. However. Sam’s has introduce an App for both iPhone and Android which allows you to scan items as you place them in your cart and then check out on line. You do not need to stand in line. You just go to the exit where a person scans the barcode generated by the app which give them the detail of the purchase, they then check your cart and you are out of there. There is a limit of 18 items and if you have more you need to check out with a cashier. But, Imagine if you just want a few items, at Costco you may have to stand in line for 15 minutes. At Sam’s, you just bypass the line and you are good to go.
I mentioned this to the manager at the San Dimas, CA store after waiting in the Costco line for nearly 15 minutes and he seemed to be offended and gave me a speech about how much better Costco stock was doing the Walmart. Maybe that is true, but that is no concern of mine. I am concerned with the lines which I normally encounter at Costco. Now I would say I am 90% at Sam’s. 10% at Costco. Hope Costco management looks at this and does something about it, like get their own app.
I also was a member of Price Club, Costco has gone downhill, the annual membership keeps rising. I belong to Sams and BJ’s and BJ’s only charges $35 for veterans.
OK, so I shop at Costco frequently, however, I am a senior citizen and I also use Costco Google Express quite often. I see now that Costco has raised it’s prices significantly this past month. Toilet paper–up 4 dollars the green tea I buy-in store-9.99–Google express–13.99 and so goes for the rest of your items through Google Express. Hence, I will never use it again. I cannot and do not see how anyone else would want to either. Why would your Corporate offices do this? At least, this is what I was told when I email Google Express, it was not them, but Costco corporate office. Kind of a —-shame on you guys.

I recently tried to book a family trip to Oahu Hawaii through Costco Travel Services. I was told I couldn’t book it because it was for 11 people. They stated it could only book for 8. I was very disappointed as I use Costco Services frequently. Could you please tell me why only 8. I did book this expensive trip through another agency.

I visited your store this evening in Stafford Twsp. NJ. When I arrived I dropped off an ink cartridge at the photo counter for a refill and proceeded to shop for other items. I was excited about this service as it would be a money saver. I have only been a member of Costco for a few months and have been enjoying the experience. I live about 40 minutes away but really enjoy your products and it’s worth the drive to me even though there is a Sam’s Club and BJ’s within 10 minutes of my home. When I picked up my ink refilled cartridge and on my way out the door I decided to open the package and check to see if it was mine as I didn’t want to drive back if there was a problem. Well, when I opened it ink was leaking all over but contained in a plastic baggie. I immediately returned to the photo counter and showed them. The woman says this happens every once and a while. I wish I was told that this process may not work and you can lose your cartridge. I was upset now because my cartridge was ruined and would have to buy another at $55. The refill was only $10.50. I asked to see a manager and the manager thought I took it home and used it and then brought it back, very unconcerned and basically just wanted to get rid of me. I am shocked at the attitude and demeanor of the Costco employees. I never had issues like this at Sam’s (still a member) or BJ’s (no longer a member). You should sincerely check your management team at this location. I am in the Real Estate business and fully understand how important customer relations are. Was denied New Costco Visa Card by Trans Union Credit Bureau for The Citi-Bank Visa. I have 5 Citi-Bank Credit Cards in Good Standing.
I have just been notified that I was not hired by Costco. I can’t say I’m surprised. I felt as if the gentleman who interviewed me was disengeged as well as the other young lady in the room with him. When I called today to ask why I wasn’t hired he stated there were better qualified candidates. I have worked in customer service for 25 plus years. I am flexible and can work any days or hours. I am currently licensed through a gaming commission and handle very large amounts of money. I am finger printed, back ground checked and on Thursday I will be receiving the Aces High Award at my current employer for the fourth time. But yet not qualified to get hired at Costco. I feel that Costco should look into this. I certainly was not fairly considered for the position of front end assistant. My next step is the Better Business Bureau and I don’t know from there.

My wife has a card with you Costco the membership was up for a renewal and she works a lot of hr’s so she asked me to go by there and pay it I wasn’t trying to buy anything just give Costco ($60 ) and go but I was told I couldn’t do that my name wasn’t on the card I can understand if I was trying to buy something but I wasn’t , this isn’t going to work you will lose customer like this ………. Sam’s will be getting us back !!!!!!
What a scam!!…Ask me to do a short survey for costco….and in return I’ll get a membership with TestX….for $89.41 a month…..AND…an entire morning spent on the phone trying to cancel said membership with TestX (a damn near impossibility) I thought Costco was an ethical, reputable company…but this just SUCKS. I found this watch today on the Costco website. I immediately called the west Dodge store in Omaha Nebraska to see if they had any and the man helping me says we don’t have any but the Lavista store has 4. I asked if the price was the $39.97 advertised on the Costco website and he says the price will match the website. I drive 40 minutes one way to get this watch at the Lavista store and when I walk in the watch is $79.99 I show the clerk the website and he is shocked that it is over double the cost and he screenshots it and went to ask the manager if they could price match the Costco website. He comes back and the manager says no, that is the website and it is a different supplier. I said hold on I went an hour and twenty minutes out of my way to come get this watch that I CALLED ON and verified both on hand and price and now you will not honor your website price which you are over double on? Manager says no and he laughs that I would drive 40 minutes for that watch. Well I clearly see my time and loyalty as a customer are. It valued with Costco (me and my wife spent over $10k with you last year). So since you cannot manage your website or clearly handle customer issues when the customer is right I will not be shopping at Costco any more. I am cutting my wife’s and my cards and going in for a membership refund tomorrow. Also I am going to return every single thing from Costco in my house opened or not on that trip. I filled out this same explanation under a review for that watch which you took down after 20 minutes so I am saving this complaint and also posting it on Facebook and twitter since you feel the need to take factual reviews on products and experiences off your website. Maybe you should look at the second line in your own Code of Ethics or review your mission statement again. And just because you have infuriated me to this extent I think I am going to buy $500-$1000 worth of medications/vitamins etc. open them all and return them 10 minutes later…….because I have read your return policy! I am sure your margin on manufacturing $600 of Kirkland vitamins is going to outweigh the $40 and time you cost me on that watch. So now I have cost you time and money.

I disheartened to read so many complaints, and about issues which are easily remedied! We have a Costco in Midtown, Kansas City, Missouri. People trek from the Kansas side just to purchase beer, wine, and liquor. I have contacted Costco in the past and told them I think they’re underestimating the sophistication of their KC-area customer base. I’ve been to their stores in California and wow -we could do a lot better here. They waste a lot of space, and could do a lot better in terms of variety of merchandise, especially food choices.
As for customer service, I’ve never had an issue. However, I have never made a purchase larger than $100 for any one item, either.
In any organization this big, the fish stinks from the head down, not the tail up. Upper regional managers set the tone for how everyone below them performs. All the way down to how they treat people. It is disheartening to read comments made by customers which point to an organization that is reliant on membership, but unresponsive to their customer base.
Unless you want to suffer like Home Depot did and continues to (because of crappy management), Costco should retrain those high-paid managers to be more hands-on. If you want to know why your stock isn’t doing as well as it should, HERE IS THE EVIDENCE.

person EVER (20+years) counted actual list of items versus what is in the cart. what does Costco know, that other retailers are ignoring ??
another issue that I have noticed is the ever increasing lack of knowledge by employees to locate or know where store items are located,
and lack of “10 items or less” checkout counters, especially when you have 2 items in your hand !
all these issues points to upper level managements inability to resolve basic consumers concerns, which in the end will bite company in the butt
I have been a member for decades and always enjoy shopping at Costco stores wherever I travel. For the most part I find the personnel to be friendly and helpful, and the stores to be clean, well managed and a pleasure to shop in. I live near the Redding, CA store and shop there most, and I have noticed a decline in service at that store over the past year. The parking lot is littered with shopping carts, the shopping cart drop-off areas are frequently overflowing to the point that the overflow hampers safe vehicular passage. There once was sanitary hand wipes and lotion at the main entrance so that the customer could wipe down the handle of the cart, but there have not been any such products at the entrance for several months now. When I’ve asked store management about that specific item, I always get a standard, “Yeah, we’ll get right on it.” But they never do. I notice that you haven’t stocked Grape Nuts cereal for a couple of years, but you seem to never run out of Lucky Charms and other sugary cereals. I’m aware that Costco is a for-profit entity and if something doesn’t meet a sales quota, it probably isn’t going to be re-stocked. But it would be nice to have a healthy alternative to Trix and Count Chocula. And finally, why is there no “contact” icon for customers to email interaction with you? I guess you can’t respond to a complaint that you don’t get.
It’s management’s responsibility to get out of their offices, and engage on the store level. It happens in every industry, and I am surprised that Costco is allowing their brand to be degraded by bad management. Any store’s performance -good or bad- can be directly attributed to upper management. They are to be commended when things go well (because they set the tone, and if they don’t understand this, they have no business being managers), and conversely, when things go badly.
For an organization that is reliant upon members returning each year and paying their fees to shop at their stores, I am surprised that Costco has not yet setup a feedback protocol whereby upper management can monitor and investigate complaints. And by the same token, when members have positive feedback, this should be filtered down to the store level, and if need be -specific employees recognized for good performance.
It’s the age of computers and communication! It is unacceptable for Costco to not be more responsive, and to use the tools available to them to improve their stores and their employees’ performances. But I guess it’s more important to tweet and be on social media, hmmm?
I will absolutely have NOTHING to do with Costco Again! First had I purchased my meds at Costco this last year I would have had over $600 in copays. In a local drug store in my town, I have no co-payments whatsoever because my med are all Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Then I had a rebate check from 2015 that I unfortunately lost. No problem with corporate office they issued me a cash credit card and said I could cash it at any time. Went to Costco tonight and the manager told me flat out that Costco does not do business that way and she refused to give me the cash on my cash card from the corporate office because my membership was not up to date. I told her that I did not want it up to date because I am no longer a Costco customer for obvious reasons. To get my money back I told her that I wouldn’t leave the God Damn place until she gave me my money and I had to start telling ever fool in the place, employees and customers alike how I had been so shit upon so she finally gave me my money back.
Truthfully Costco just isn’t worth it anymore. Most of the crap they sell you can get at almost the same price elsewhere where I live. So for me it is good riddens to the Costco slick crooks.

Costco is selling more products that say “USA” in large print and in tiny print “Packaged in the US ” — but come from CHINA.
We spend thousands every year with COSTCO because we trust you. Hidden origin of products betrays that trust — especially given China’s history of diluting medicines, using toxic fillers, blatantly false ingredient labels, etc.

The worst experience we have ever had at a Costco. My family has been members for over ten years and never have we been treated in such a rude manner. Shortly after getting to the register and interrupting what seemed to be a more important conversation than just simply greeting us. Claudia and her rules interpreter harassed my son’s on why they have my membership card on them and that they could not charge their toiletries and cereal to my card because it wasn’t theirs. Following that lovely transaction my oldest son of 24 attempted to purchase one single bottle of alcohol and charge it on his own Visa debit card . The rules interpreter was not done yet. She then took the bottle out of his hand and said “you’re not buying this either!” These were two incidents that could have been avoided by an ounce of professionalism. We never been treated in such a hostile manner these kind of events will seriously make us rethink our decision of renewing our membership.
Why is it that I am within 40 miles of two Costco’s Warehouses, but I can’t have use of the Heating and Air Conditioning Services. I had to call back the number for the services five times to inquire, rather than they calling me.
Costco et al….please create a document for for workers to sign if necessary to be allowed to take home the good you are throwing away everything. Like a waiver.

I really love and enjoy being a great customer of Costco, their Mission is to To continually provide our members with quality goods and services at the lowest possible prices. Their quote on the Mission Statement: Provide our members with a 100% satisfaction guarantee on every product and service we sell, including their membership fee. Sadly to say I went into one of the Costco warehouses in Texas on December 12,2006, looking to purchase a New Surface 4 Pro Tablet the warehouse had it priced for $469.99. Which was actually a hell of a deal, I went to purchase the tablet, but the Warehouse Manager (MATT) informed me that since the label was not the same as the picture that the store will not be able to honor the price for the tablet (needless to say, MATT, never spoke with me face to face, he relayed the message thru another employee. I don’t believe this part of the Mission Statement. I spoke with several managers and went as far as calling the Regional Office which is located in Texas. When I explained the situation to representative for the Regional Office, she indicated that their was a problem with the pricing, but couldn’t honor the deal because the Company would have a big loss. She was willing to provide an extra $100.00 off the New Surface 4 Pro Tablet, her belief may have been that she would assume that she could pacify me, but not satisfy me. I’m going to let this be a lesson learn and never shop with Costco again! I am requesting a refund for my Yearly membership and go back to shopping with other Wholesale Warehouse!
I bought washer and was delivered on Dec 2. The door latch was broken so the delivery guys took it back and said we will have a new washer the next day. That was the reason why we let them took our old working washer/dryer away. It’s been 2 weeks now with many phone calls and costco representative said it’ll take at least another 2 weeks.
We have a 2 year old toddler and needing to do laundry ever other day. The closest one is 7 miles away. It was very inconvenient and time consuming. We’d discussed with costco for loaner and they were not very helpful.

About 2 years ago my family and I quit drinking soda – and needless to say this was a positive for my family.
Don’t get me wrong – I have been a Costco member for a long time and the Lodi Costco is a clean and excellent group and a golden professional team.
I would have asked the Lodi leads, manager or workers – but they are all very busy …and I thought I could ask your main office team to get an answer.
Costco is a great operation and I would prefer to buy the product at Costco than to buy from another operation.

Costco Japan no longer accepts the new Citi VISA card. It causes so much inconvenience. Who will being lots of cash with them these days?
Since Costco switched to Citi Bank Visa we have had nothing but problems!! First of all, they did not send us a bill for 2 months, then called to say we never paid our bill, charged us FEES and Interest, and this continued for 4 months +, then this month my card, my husband’s card and my parent’s cards all got COMPROMISED at the same time. We never had this problem with American Express – EVER!! (I do have to say that Citi bank did credit us the charges, but it was a very frustrating and time-consuming problem!)
We canceled our cards today and we are going to go to BJ’s from now on!
Not to sound like an ass, but when you sign an agreement to secure a credit card line, there is a portion of the TOS that clearly states that YOU are responsible to pay YOUR monthly bill. So, if a bill doesn’t come, common sense says, that it’s still due. Billing cycles don’t just cease to be due, intermittently.
Also, CitiBank did not have to credit you any of the fees incurred due to the negligence on either party (excluding the theft coverage). Costco and CitiBank are NOT the same company. They are not even affiliates. City bank simply provides you credit to shop at Costco. You can pay with AmEx OR VISA or Debit Card or Check. You don’t need a CitiBank Costco Card to shop at Costco. Costco’s warrantees, price matches and services are second to none. Not even Sam’s Clubs or BJ’s can compare.
Lastly, I do sincerely hope that you enjoy your BJ’s membership. I do like that store, as I have shopped there a few times with a complimentary 24 hour membership.
Yes, nothing but problems. I have just been charged with $110 membership fee with a card that I have never activated. I moved last year and have stopped going to Costco. Costco, or Citi Bank just automatically assume that I want to purchase the membership and debit the credit card. This is kind of like what Wells Fargo are doing, opening account without customers’ knowing. Is this legal? Please stop doing this, you guys make enough money already.
I am concerned with Costco doing business with CitiBank, who is funding the Dakota Access Pipeline. I am against the investors in the pipeline, as there have been human rights violations, police brutality and more, happening in North Dakota now. The Sioux at Standing Rock have garnered support worldwide, and it makes me wish that Costco would follow suit and divest. I’ve been a long time customer, since Price Club in 1984, save one year I moved to Chicago, and have always been a supporter of Costco. And now I feel uneasy.

I agree completely. I am frustrated and angered by Costco’s relationship with Citibank, who is the main investor in the Dakota Access Pipeline. I always thought Costco was more forward thinking than this. The Standing Rock movement is not only about protecting the water and protecting indigenous lands, it is a stand against climate change, oil drilling and fracking, which is yesterday’s solution, not the solution of the future. If we are serious about climate change, then we must end our dependence on fossil fuels and move swiftly to renewable energy, which means no more pipelines. I urge Costco to put pressure on Citibank to divest from DAPL.
I get offended by ignorant people that think Costco’s relationship with Citibank is an enforcement of a few miles of pipeline. BTW, there are hundreds of thousands of miles of pipeline in the USA. Your chances of being struck by lightning or drowning is far greater than ever being injured by a pipeline.

Cosco is supporting the efforts of Progress again, at the cost of the Sioux Nation, they don’t care about the Sioux, they want the $$Billions$$ that will be earned through this pipeline. Cosco / Kirkland is a FOR PROFIT Warehouse outlet which discounts other manufactures merchandise, and doesn’t have any concern for humans at all. I paid over $100.00 for a membership, and can’t find anything below retail, online or in store. I won’t renew when this is finally over.
Take one look at any Indian reservation and tell me they care about the land. Trash all over, nothing is well-kept. They want to sell illegal fireworks and smoke weed, and don’t care about anyone but themselves. The pipeline will help many people, and hopefully lower rising oil prices, not to mention the land they are building through is PRIVATELY OWNED land going NEAR the reservation. The protesters are illegally camping in areas they aren’t allowed and causing the police to have to forcefully evacuate them from PRIVATE PROPERTY. If they were on MY land, they’d get 30 seconds to get out or be shot. You cannot create systemic prejudice where there is none. Do your research.

I received a letter from you Tracy on October 17th regarding a Costco/Google Express offer and to date I am unable to utilize it because it does not recognize me or my membership #. I have tried numerous times at least 6 or 8 and I have called your local store in Brighton / Green Oak MI who is very aware of the issue but have no resolution or ETA.
I have been an executive member for a long time and I have been most happy with your organization but with this issue and no answers of a solution is making me VERY unhappy.

I love Costco! Great prices on quality items and awesome staff. When I lived in central California I shopped Costco almost on a weekly bases. The Merced Costco employees are awesome. However I have moved to East Texas. The closest Costco is two hours away. Anytime I travel to Dallas, I make it a point to go to Costco.
Costco planners- I strongly suggest you plan for new Costco construction in Longview, Texas. Interstate 20 goes right by Longview, which would be beneficial for sales. It would be a great location. Hope to see you soon!!!
Although I love shopping at Costco, I don’t like the way the cashier’s assistant’s attitude at the Costco in Boston Heights, Ohio. Today I went to Costco and the woman working with the cashier “helped” by banging up all my items that I just got to pay for and was dropping everything on the belt. This is absolutely ridiculous for an employee to be doing this with the items I’m paying for. She put the quarter gallon of maple syrup on top of the bananas, common sense, right? So I reach over and put the maple syrup on the side and she looked at me as if she was going to do something. Maybe she should’ve came to work with a better attitude. This had happened to me over 5 time and yet I still spend the time to find he best quality items and in the end they get destroyed because some lady can’t be patient. As a customer this is very disrespectful and change needs to happen. Mayra (cashier assistant) did this to us in the past and we I didn’t say anything cause it was right when Costco opened in my area. I didn’t want to complain when the store just opened for business so I let it be. Maybe this Costco should have an employee meeting on how to keep patience.

My wife work at Costco Norfolk VA, she was upset that her manager is so bias in treating his subordinates. He favor a workers that always fraternize with him off work. He always give them a good day off and schedule of work, while my wife who works diligently and most senior was getting the weekend schedules. My wife has a life also, but in this kind of schedule she never had a chance to be with family during off school. This is happening at food court. I am so worried because of everyday after work she is so tired and her body was even deteriorated from doing all the work. I hope you guys will do something about it. She was complaining about her situation but unfortunately no one cares in the management area. It is a corporation or company policy that no one should be able to receive unfair treatment to all employee. She was following all rules and regulations and never had bad reputation with regards to work ethic. I believe that discrimination and no equal opportunity is being implemented in that working place.

Ok so 5 months ago I got this prescriptions glasses from Costco that was not cheap to me. it cost me $149.99 plus tax and it is just the frame. Well last week while I was on my vacation in Mexico the left arm of the glasses just come out on my hand. I did not break it, droop it not did i do anything to cause this glasses to break. Today I went to Costco I got very disappointed. While explaining to the sales man what happen he responds that Costco can not do anything to help me…. really? and then as I am not happy and I am complaining to him about it he tells me that it is probably my fault that it broke, that I may have use more strength that is needed to open the glasses! really??? and then of course I continued to tell him that I am not a kid and I know that I did not cause it to break so his come back was that if I had got this glasses from a Escada Store I would have payed much more money for it. I asked him that if I understood right what he was telling me…. he basically told me that I paid cheaper for it so don’t complain??? really? so costco buy cheaper things because it is crap and I should be happy about it? So at least tell the costumers ahead that we are paying cheaper for their products because it is Crap! I am not happy about this and I will complain until I get it right!
This place has gone down hill fast! won’t be back and ill will be happy to take my business to Sam’s Club. You call customer service after they have over charged your membership and get about 60 minutes of some person that does not know what he’s doing. I get this guy Shawn D that says he’s a manager and he doesn’t seem to know what he is doing, He won’t let me speak to his boss at all. Get down to the fact that I will never go back to Costco again. been with them for several years and they went down in customer service when they got rid of AMEX. horrible service!!!!

You do not use the chip when swiping credit cards and I am told that this is because corporate has indicated that it will take too long to get customers through checkout lines. I intend to switch to writing checks in the future because my card has been hacked 3 times. Will that improve the time to check out? Please make the switch to the chip reader.
I work at the Westlake, CA store. One of the things that management stresses the most is get the lines moving as quickly as possible. We did have chip readers for a couple weeks, but it took way too long to process payment so we stopped using it. Unless the chip reader speed is increased there is no way we will go back to it. We already have complaints from members about how long it takes to get through the lines (even though we get through an avg of <1 member per minute, an impressive feat if you've seen the carts/flat beds that come through our lines). We just can't afford the extra time spent with the chip readers. It's kind of a double edged sword. Hopefully the readers will be faster in the future.
Why does Costco not do a one day member pass? With South Dakota being such at rural state. I live in another part of South Dakota and would like to do a one day pass on the internet. Also is there ever a thought of putting a Costco in Rapid City, SD which would so much closer to us. Sam’s Club is great but there are things that Costco has and Sam’s Club does not have and the other way around.
At our store you can stop by membership and get a day pass. I’m pretty sure it’s Costco wide (seeing as you can use the pharmacy, and buy liquor without being a member). Try stopping by membership when you come in (the let greeter know you are getting a day pass) and asking for a pass.
A one day pass is for members that forgot their card. Not for non-members
Sucks to see Costco is moving in the wrong direction. When I was hired, I was led to believe that the mission statement included “taking care of it’s employees.” Clearly I was wrong, considering that I was forced into quitting to avoid being fired because of critical and uncontrollable life issues. Only one of my write ups that I received at warehouse 1156 in Lexington, KY was my fault. The rest of my write ups were a result of medical issues(that were not excused), transportation issues(because my car was dangerous to drive and was being worked on by a COSTCO manager[which all of management was aware of]), and because of a lexington wide power outage(in which my alarm clock died). It’s really dissapointing that I have been a hard working employee for this warehouse for 3 years, and they can’t make an exception to the rules for life challenges that caused me a short lapse of tardiness issues. It is safe to say that this company has lost my business, along with the rest of my family and friends and we will be going elsewhere from now on.

Costco in Mission Valley off Friar’s road in San Diego has recently moved all of its produce to the far right of the store where the alcohol used to be. The store has now moved all the alcohol prominently in the center of the food department. There it all sits with all of its bright, sparkly enticing bottles under your store lights… rows upon rolls of alcohol… it is truly a massive and large display. Healthy food pushed to the wall, alcohol placed front and center. Thank you for your conscientious attention to the effect you have upon children, adolescents, and college students. Alcohol over healthy food… really? Is that the message you want to send to impressionable young people? The message I get loud and clear is that Costco promotes sales over ethical and responsible store marketing. Sell your alcohol, but do it with wisdom and responsible consumerism.

I filled in a form online that explained that I would receive a FREE SAMPLE of a cream treatment called RETINOLLA if I paid only the Shipping and Handling fee.
After 1 month I am learning that it was all a scam. There was no place in your webpage that explained clearly that I had to return the product if I was not satisfied with it within 2 weeks.
It is clearly a misleading advertisement which is only creating a bad reputation of your creams and your products.
I request the refund of my money (the 179.95$) and if you wish I can send the remaining of the cream that was used by my wife.

When I found that Costco was changing to Citibank I was told that I had to take the card when I requested they NOT send me a card. I paid off my Costco American Express card and this week I have received two phone calls from Citibank saying I still owed $180 from the switch. I have had nothing but problems with any of the Citi branded credit cards and am fed up with the calls. They said I should have been told there may be outstanding charges from AMEX that would come through them, but I never had any information to that extent. I have been a Costco member for well over 20 years and have never had as much problems as I have with the inferior support in the change to Citi. I cancelled my card as soon as I received it.

You really need 2 more Costco locations in Richmond BC alone. It’s so crowded here and you can easily wait 1 hour for a parking space.
People are already very annoyed at the crowding and it makes it difficult to navigate around the store.
On top of that, your staff here has to over stock the shelves, because of the insane amount of people shopping here. You now have items stacked on the floor further hampering the insane crowd of people.

If costco is offering gifts for doing an online survey, it’seems very deceitful. The person doing the survey is
referred to the website for the “gift” and are required to give them your credit card information to pay for shipping fees and after that they auto ship their product to you until you can get out of it. If COSTCO is involved in this scam I’m very disappointed and pissed off. The survey offer implies that you will be getting the “gift from COSTCO, not being fed to the wolves so to speak. I wanted CostCo to be aware that i participated in civil boycott yesterday September 26. I refrained from buying anything or even leaving my house yesterday to draw attention to police brutality in the the black community. This action prevented me from filling my gas tank at CostCo yesterday.
I think that of coutcome sells hot dogs they ahold also makeep and sell corn dogs. It would certainly increase revenue and would be a great addition to the menu.
Store number 827 Phoenix, what embarrassment. Going from the restroom there’s a walkway through the cigarette section so I cut through there to get back to my shopping and I get scolded by the employee very rudely that I’m not supposed to cut through the air so I jokingly said arrest me. Then I do my shopping I get to the registers don’t get any thank you my receipt or anything then I go to the door the lady checked my receipt just looks at me know thank you don’t have a nice day. I hope that this continues so that I can go to Sam’s Club and become a member there. And I highly doubt that I’m the only person it’s been treated this way. Maybe corporate should take a second look at why we’re paying all this money and not even to get it thank you. It’s just a nice gesture is off kind of going against the American way now time to go

All membership card have photo. It is a form of ID for your counter people to “see/check” if the one that paying same as the one on the card.

We have to check All credit cards to make sure the name is the same as on the Costco card (this is for your protection). You can avoid this by using a debit card with a PIN number. Hope this helps! Happy holidays.
I’ve been a Costco member just about the time Costco took over Price Club. I’ve enjoyed their products and the annual refunds of the purchases I made. When a store owner charged me for something I didn’t buy, American Express was quick to isolate the charge and investigated. Now we are forced to use Citi Bank.
American Express switched over in June. In May I didn’t pay off the total balance due, so I carried over to June a balance in which interest was applied. Added to this past due balance and the new purchases, my balance due for June was $306. I paid Citi Bank $306 two day before the due date. So my balance was $0. I made purchases in the amount of $1850. It is my understanding that I get 30 days interest-free use of Citi’s money if I pay off the $1850 before my due date. Citi told me that BECAUSE I CARRIED A BALANCE THE PREVIOUS MONTH, BUT PAID IT OFF IN FULL, THEY CAN CHARGE ME INTEREST ON PURCHASES I MADE DURING THE 30-DAY INTEREST-FREE CYCLE. AND IT’S BASED ON THE DAILY AVERAGE DURING THE MONTH. In other words, they can penalize me, ie charge me interest, on my current purchases, because I carried a balance the previous month. They did say that if I paid off completely the balances due for two consecutive billing cycles, I would not be charged interest. They are charging me current interest for past indiscretions. So WATCH OUT FOLKS, IF YOU CARRY A BALANCE, THEN PAY IT OFF, CITI WILL CHARGE YOU INTEREST ON NEW PURCHASES, FOR TWO MONTHS, EVEN WHEN YOU PAY OFF THE BILL IN FULL EACH MONTH. Shame on Costco, you weren’t looking out for your members when you chose Citi. So now in the future I’ll pay off my bill in full, but I will use their card less and less.
Costco lied about improving life and safety for chickens and their eggs. Conditions are cruel as ever with each chicken in a crammed cage with a space of an o-pad for each. Legs, heads caught in wire where they suffocate/ starve or die of exhaustion. Profits seem to be more important than their word . THAT PART of Costco is what many of us hate.

I opened a new box of diaperssss I bought from Costco I just took my son a bath and was about to put a diaper on him and notice a nasty hairy little bug inside the diaper….what the hell is a bug doing inside it whyyyy. Why is most of Costco’s packaging so environmentally unfriendly? I buy HP ink cartridges and first of all you need to major tool to get into your packaging and then only the plastic bubble is recyclable⦠And not curbside⦠I have to take it to a recycling center⦠and then all of the cardboard is laminated with plastic! So that’s not recyclable either unless you want to spend the next hour peeling off the plastic from the cardboard. is Costco trying at all to be environmentally friendly? And I can’t stand that new Citi card….The customer service stinks⦠Costco has really gone downhill⦠And I see, from reading the comments that I’m not the only one that feels that way. I think I’ll be canceling my membership
Grapefruit from Costco gave me sick and they still think it’s not their fault. Sent couple of pictures after they request.
I’m still talking over email back and forward but they should stop selling this product if they don’t want to put ‘warning’ sign. After research I found that grapefruit should not combined with other pills like what I take. Made me so sick and couldn’t work for 3 straight days.

I understand what you are saying, however, it wasn’t Costco’s grapefruit that specifically made you sick. It was the fact that you combined it with your medications. My mother is a diabetic and is not supposed to eat grapefruit or drink it for that matter, if she is taking her meds. So please just understand that and be careful. Take care hun.
I love shopping at Costco but today made me never want to come back. Your door greeter JJ was VERY rude to my husband and I. We still continued to shop after speaking with the manager Jason about JJ’s rudeness to us. On the way out of the store, JJ made sure to stop us and call us liars, in front of all the customers behind us. It was highly embarrassing and rude. We told him it was rude, and he laughed and said he did not care and to write our opinions on the wall. We let the manager Jason know what JJ had done to us, but if he is not fired for treating us like that, we will no longer be shopping at Costco. I spend thousands a month there and do not deserve to be treated that way. I am highly humiliated and very upset about how we were treated!!! I will not be shopping there until I know JJ has been fired. There are plenty of people that need a job and would treat customers with respect!!

This will be my 4th call to the Citibank/Costco card! I still have not received the credit card and every time I call they cant find my information and I called today and there systems are down! Always something! I was happy with American Express and now I am disappointed that they switched from American Express to Citibank. I will be cancelling the card.
I honestly cannot believe how the receiving department treats the very people delivering their goods. Had a delivery that the correct po number was not listed on the delivery bill of lading but were provided the correct number. They had me get out of line and wait until they were faxed the bills with correct purchase order number (which is same number I initially provided). Aside of waiting 3 hours for them to get the correct bill when I walked over to find out what was going on they started yelling saying “what’s going on is you brought bills that didn’t have correct po on them”, i replied that I was going to just reschedule the appointment for a later date until costco and their suppliers got on the same page. He then furiously said “no you won’t reschedule a damn thing because I got the correct bills right here. Gave me a door and another 3 hours go by just to find out they refused half the load because they were shipped wrong item.
Honestly if costco was built on superb relationship with people it deals with this shows me that their quality has gone down and I as an executive member of 11 years don’t want any part of it anyway.
ABOUT COSTCO: Customer Service does not exist with Costco. They take advantage of a full parking lot with no regard to Customer Satisfaction. The only customer service you receive is a refund no questions asked. But doesn’t every establishment? I was in line where the Costco employee began putting my merchandise on the conveyer belt and he asked me “What is in your Backpack?”. I asked him “Is that your business?” where he just shrugged his shoulders. In other words are you stealing? I presented this situation to the Manager that merely said he was sorry for the inconvenience but offered no solution to my anger or frustration. I advised the manager the reason I carry a backpack by the way is to hold my purse AND the Nikon camera that I purchased from his store. I also advised that I believe the harassment I received was racially motivated. I left angry and now will take my Visa and my purchases away from his store completely.
Unfortunately Costco holds the right to search bags and purses. At the store i go to they do that. Its part of the membership agreement and its also posted on the front door saying they have that right. However its not the responsibility of the person on register. Thats what the people at the exit door are for.
I honestly do not want to be rude. However, shopping at Costco can be such a pain in the butt. I do not enjoy going to Costco anymore. There are too many people; stopping at every sample station like they haven’t eaten for days (rude, but,it’s the truth). There should be a designated area for sampling products and such because some people do not enjoy getting stuck in the middle of a crowd and wondering what’s happening and find out that people are in line sampling sausages that’s been there a week before. I don’t need to stress while shopping and going to Costco has become a dreadful task that I would like to avoid.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sampling products but having a designated area would be helpful for people like me who just wants to shop and leave the warehouse with a positive experience. Thank you and I am very sorry for being offensive.
An excellent idea! I hope someone (anyone) who manages a Costco sees the relevance of this idea. Then, put up a section for all the other people actually selling products or services. In the northern CA area Direct TV has been a problem at every Costco I have ever shopped at. One “salesperson” actually followed me for FOUR isles trying to get me to stop and listen to his sales pitch. Every company stays at their kiosk EXCEPT Direct TV who, somehow, seems to think they can try to buttonhole every customer somewhere near the entrance. It’s annoying and they are the only product who does this. The management at the Rancho Cordova, CA Costco repeatedly as “we apologize” but never do anything to solve the promblem. It’s so frustrating to shop there I doubt I will ever go back. Like you, I just want to get in and do my shopping without feeling like I’m going through a third-world town square.
The transition to Citi from AmEx has truly been a nightmare for us with one problem after another. I have not yet been successful in paying our balance online despite repeatedly setting up, then having to delete, our banking information. Then there were the charges for late payments and check returns. Further, one manager promised to call at a specific date and time–and failed to do so even though we inconvenienced ourselves to be available for that call. This is a thumbnail narrative that has cost me HOURS of personal time and is still not resolved.
This morning I received A Costco flyer proudly stating that Costco only takes Visa now.
I only have What my bank issued me which is my new MasterCard, because they switched from Visa.
I an outraged that I pay for a membership so that i don’t have to hassle with all of the typical riff-raff of local stores and now I’m being told my money is no good at your store.

I am extremely disappointed in your business decision to drop American Express. I will no longer buy warranty items like electronics at Costco. I have had very good service from Amex over 30+ years. As a corporate CFO I appreciate the bottom line and decisions can be tough. However, who you partner with says a lot to your customers and CitI is no match. Sorry you felt it was necessary to squeeze out more profit at the expense of your loyal customers. Shame on you!!!
Actually they aren’t squeezing out more profit because of the switch. Have you seen the benefits of the card and compared them to the old AMEX? ThEy are better because Costco decided to use the money Amex was charging for transactions and giving it back to the customer in form of cash back (rebate checks).

Very disappointing in your travel services! Bought a flight/hotel to cabo for 3 nights and due to American Airlines the layover became 23hrs next day losing one day. Called Costco customer service and they offered us 2 night and even if we accepted the 2 night you still would’ve charged us $634 for a day we weren’t there and clearly it was the airline fault. That clearly should’ve NOT happen.

This new Citi Credit Card (vs. American Express). Has anyone ever tried it out in the Gas Station? It did not work so I called Citi Card who told me a runaround, “It should work. Go to the Attendant next time.” Right.
How come American Express ALWAYS worked?
The attitude of the new Citi Card customer reps are like from the homeless community. Has anyone talked to any of them? I do not know about this new Citi Card thing Costco has taken on. Right now, I wished American Express was back. Discover is a good option too, professional, helpful and in the United States with great attitudes.
So i am VERY upset with Costco. My fiance got a job at one of your locations over a month and a half ago. Well first they dont give you a check for a month, for if you get fired you have your first weeks check. Well that is all fine and good. My problems remains with he ended up getting let go. It is going on two months and he still hasnt been given a check. When we have rent thats due. it is kind of hard waiting almost two months for your income. His store isnt helping and not informing him very well. When he was let go it was the week of his first check. So they told him it would be the next week for his full amount. So we patiently waited. He gets a call a few days ago saying he can pick it up Thursday instead of Tuesday. Thursday is here and now theyre saying its next Thursday.. Well im sorry but that doesnt work for us. He got hired on with reluctance, because he wouldnt get paid for so long. We are living check to check with a young son. We need this check and no one is helping us out.

I thought I’m the only one experiencing bad customer service from costco. Costco installed my AC thru AZ company costing $17400 which is not working properly. Customer service doesn’t return calls. I have had nothing but problems with Citi in connection with my husband’s and my Costco Visa cards from the inception of the changeover from AmericanExpress. Examples: (1) Our timely payment didn’t go through timely, according to Citi, (2) we were charged a late fee, (3) the waiting time to speak to a representative (to ameliorate #1 and #2) continues to be exorbitant, (4) what I have been told by various representatives is inconsistent with what others have said, ad nauseam.
All of Citi’s preparations for the change in credit card carriers should have been in place prior to the June 20 inception date. Why are we consumers still being punished a month later? Nothing of this nature ever occurred in all our years with AmEx.
I forgot to mention that I sent Citi two emails via its internal communication set-up. There has been no reply to either. More examples of incompetence and unprofessionalism.
We are long time members and very disappointed in the recent customer service we have received. We are still waiting for a refund. Been dealing with this furniture since FEB 22 2016. Lonnnnnng story. We FINALLY got the furniture picked up June 27th…. But still no refund, they don’t know where it is? They sent it back to the original form of payment, which we advised them the account was CLOSED. We were told they would send us a check several times… now July 11th… they are still trying to locate the refund.. Doesn’t seem to be my problem, how about you refund me a check like you said.. and worry about getting your money, that you sent to a closed account later!!

In the northern part of St Johns County, Florida we are having a terrific growth spurt. The communities of Julington Creek, Bartram Park and Nocatee there is a large and growing community. The Gate Petroleum Company has a new project called āDurbin Parkā. It will have the largest shopping area in Northeast Florida. It will cover 1,600 acres south of Race Track Rd, east of Interstate 95 and west of the new Florida 9B. Plans call for 2.4 million square feet of retail, 2.8 million square feet of office space, 999 multifamily units and 350 hotel rooms. The retail space will almost double the St Johns Town Center on Gate Parkway in Duval County.
We have a serious lack of big-box retailers and services in the northern half of St Johns County. Bass Pro Shops is the only retailer announced so far.
This area could definitely use Costco as one of the large retailers. If we could get a Costco gas station in the same location would be the icing on the cake.
While traveling to Tallahassee early this summer we stopped at the Costco Warehouse and for the first time took advantage of the gas station. Fantastic!!

Costco either needs to tell Aerogarden to shape up, or ship them OUT of their stores. I received two Aerogardens as gifts, a small one two years ago, and the larger LED one just over a year ago. BOTH are broken. BOTH stopped working, and the customer service at Aerogarden is as helpful as someone calling a big corporation and complaining. They will tell you how bad they feel, they will tell you that this is awful, they will tell you all the sympathetic crap that they think that you want to hear. Heck, they will even send you seeds, BUT THEY WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR INFERIOR PRODUCTS! I will NEVER buy anything from Aerogarden again. They have cost my family hundred’s of dollars as gifts for me, and they have wasted their hard earned money. Their items are extremely expensive to begin with, but when they stop working after the second planting, then you know that they deliberately make a cheap product that is too late for warranty service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON Aerogardens. I would like for Costco buying department to take note. I will also publish this on social media, Yelp, and any other place that I can think to place this inferior products reputation for deliberately cheating the public. My wife and I have enjoyed shopping at Costco over the years and thought their operations to be well managed until this latest credit card fiasco. Transitioning millions of customers from American Express to Citi Bank Visa was a nightmare and not well thought out in my opinion. Carrying a charge billed through AE and trying to pay it after 6/20/2016 was a time consuming boondoggle that no consumer should have to go through i.e. long telephone “hold” times, multiple cards being sent, along with store employee’s giving a different answer to the same questions? As a retired Technical Manager of Customer Relations for a large International Corporation, heads would have rolled if we treated our customer base in this fashion. Keep close watch on your bottom line Costco, you may not like what you see!
Today I had the worse experience at costco. First the floors were lacking staff , so I was unable to retrieve help obtaining products.
Second, was having to encounter a cashier named Felicia, whom was very disrespectful and provided us with attitude. Apparently customer service skills were lost in the training of the staff?
But that was not all, when requested to speak to a manager, no one walked over to get one. They screamed name out loud and left us there. We gave up and left and will be writing letter to headquarters.

Dude, really? You have a lousy car and can’t wake up on time, and you’re surprised you don’t have a job? When you don’t show up, are the managers supposed to tell the customers that no one is there to help them because your alarm clock died? You don’t work thereally anymore because you are clearly not responsible and reliable enough. It’s people like you, with entitled attitudes and a million excuses, that contribute to the poor work ethic and bad service which sadly infects this country.
This is the fourth day trying to get ahold of Citi Visa and I still cannot get through now I called at 5:45 in the morning and all it does is hang up on me. Corporate Costco have you guys even tried calling that phone number that’s on the card so you can feel how all the customers you have a very disappointed in this.
I can’t believe you guys switch over to Citi Visa this is my third day trying to get a hold of them you guys have set this up six months in advance they could not even hire extra people to come get the phone calls. I would rather have great customer service and to get all these extra percentage points on my gas and my other stuff. This is a very terrible decision that you guys made. Costco on Renaissance in Albuquerque. My insurance Discontinued the Blood Glucose Meter and strips that I use. In the letter it gave two meters for me to choose from as replacement.
When I took the letter to the pharmacy, the Pharmacist already chose the meter I would get and ordered it without checking with me at all. So the Pharmacist makes choices for me whether I like it or not. THEN the Isosorbide I was being charged for when I should not have been. The pharmacist told me that the meter she chose would be in sometime today. When I called last night 6-6-2016 the pharmacist told me that they had these meters on hand/in stock. I filed complaint with Costco Corporate 6-7-2016. No call back so far….

Today, I just left your store in Hoover,Alabama and two of your cashiers was very rude to a friend and I. I mistakenly left my debit card in my card both cashier gotten a attitude(which was on register 5 and her name was Lindsey I didn’t get the other cashier’s name. I told them I am going to retrieve my card in my car and I will be back through the line to get my merchandise both started laughing and whispered to one another. When I gotten back they had put my stuff back and told me I had to go and get it. Then another cashier from another line went and got it for me and was very polite. I am a cashier supervisor and if one of my cashiers had treated a customer like they treated me they would be written up. I never gotten rude service like this before the reason I come to Costco because I hear good things about you guys. But if this continues to happen I will shop elsewhere.

Well today aI went to Costco to buy things since we were on vacation in California. I paid with the Citi card with no problem. Ten minutes later I went to Sproutsto purchase and was declined twice. Call Citi and Watson hold for 45 plus minutes. I gave up. At this point I am goin to use Citi card to gain a chess to Costco, but us another card to pay for my purchases at Costco. I was chosen for interview for the County Line Road new store in Indianapolis, my husband also applied. He got a job, GREAT, but I had interview on Monday and they had marked my name off since my husband had mentioned we were married to manager. My problem is no one called to say interview was cancelled, so I showed up because I didn’t want to look bad. Waited over an hour, was taken back and neither interviewer new of policy of married couple could not work at same store. I had called 2 other Indianapolis stores, they say up to each individual managers, well since that can change then policy can also. I had been working towards working at this new store for a year, it is 5 minutes from our house, I wouldn’t have cared if my husband and I are on different shifts would be fine, but I was told they would turn over to another location, which is with traffic. If this is a policy please post on applications, and since I have worked with my husband for 30 years, I don’t think there would have been a problem he was hired as a worker, not a CEO to give me special treatment, what do you do with dating couples or same sex couples or married same sex couples? Since my last name was different I could have just lied and said we lived together, I guess that would have worked, but we are to honest.

Your store on Los Feliz Blvd. in Los Angeles is becoming more and more crowded with items for sale that customers do not have adequate space to line up for the cash registers. To make matters worse, even when lines are long, store management is slow to respond by opening more registers, use additional employees- to scan items prior to paying, speed up returns, etc. I wonder if the Fire Department or Cal OSHA would have safety concerns if this store were to be inspected.

This is the 4th complaint about the ongoing problem at the Costco on Tech Center Drive in Poway, CA, regarding the Costco Direct TV salespeople who both verbally and physically accost and harass customers as soon as they enter the store. The sleazy, aggressive, offensive, Costco Poway Direct TV salespeople harass customers as a matter of standard practice.
This is ongoing, in spite of complaints. Poway Costco Direct TV sales slime harass customers with phony, aggressive, underhanded, slimy sales practice. Perpetually annoying, harassing Costco Direct TV sales people give the Poway Costco a crass, cheesy, sleazy, low-life, carnival type of atmosphere.
I have complained 3 times previously, about the Poway Costco Direct TV sales slime policy and practice. Third complaint was 15 January 2015, about similar bad behavior on 14 Jan 2015. Since then, I have tried to ignore the aggressive, Poway Costco slime-ball sales people.
Wednesday, May 25, 2015, at about 5 pm, the usual slime-ball Costco Direct TV salesman yet again called out loudly to me, from at least 20 feet away from me, across the wide entrance aisle, with his phony, harassing āgreeting.ā As I tried to ignore him, he increased the volume of his voice and continued to essentially yell directly at me. As I ignored this Poway Costco low-life sleazy sales type, he came across the aisle, over to me and my basket, deliberately harassing, pressuring, pestering, annoying, bothering, and accosting me. Poway Costco has an ongoing practice of training their Direct TV sales people to harass customers in the manner just described. When these low-life Poway Costco slime-bag sales people succeed in getting the innocent customer to look at them, then those aggressive low-life, harassing Poway Costco Direct TV sales scum immediately twist their high pressure phony greeting into their sleazy, slimy, dishonest sales presentations.
The particular Poway Costco sales slime, at the Direct TV booth this time, was a young dark haired man, who appeared to be of Asian or Asian/Caucasian descent.
He came all the way across the aisle to confront and accost me, in his Poway Costco trained, obnoxious, aggressive, high pressure manner. He was directly next to me when I stopped and told him to stop bothering me and to get away from me.
I am a 70 year old senior citizen. Also, even though I have all my limbs, I am a100% Disabled Veteran. Both of those facets make me even more vulnerable fair game for the typical Poway-Costco-trained, sleazy sales pressure and harassment.
What do Poway Costco customers have to do, in order to protect themselves from the perpetually aggressive, high pressure, obnoxious, crass, grossly inappropriate, offensive Poway Costco sales people, with their Poway Costco trained, instructed and sanctioned aggressive, offensive behavior?
Costco Corporate offices should actually intervene in Poway Costco management, and actually DO SOMETHING about getting the bad behavior at Poway Costco under control. Do NOT merely forward the complaint to some Manager at Poway Costco, because nothing changes ā That has already been tried. Some female manager called me about this same kind of complaint, a couple of years ago, and offered me a free cake. I donāt eat that crap and lame offering instead of actually correcting the harassment problem. Nothing has changed; the Poway Costco sales policies still have the Poway Costco sales slime behaving aggressively.
Costco Corporate Office hear this! Please take an active approach by actually intervening to put a stop to the Poway Costco policy and practice of having their slimy sales people accost customers.

I do not understand why Costco continues to affiliate themselves with Foster Farms. Their factories are I humane to poultry and are filthy and laden with salmonella. You carry ONE Perdue product. Perdue not only meets industry standards but insists on being graded on a higher level. If livestock is treated humanely it tastes better and is a higher quality since it’s not stressed. I also do not want my chicken coming from a place that is teeming with salmonella. I used to think Costco wanted the best for its members. I am now rethinking that. I may need to go back to Whole Foods and HEB.
I want to suggest an addition to your wonderful hot food service menu. Best prices on the dogs and salad and pizza, etc. You should add CHILI. It is easy to make and easy to maintain and easy to serve! It would definitely increase sales at the food service counter.
I shop at Costco a lot. I have for years. We trust in the Costco name . I now have reason to start doubting this long established relationship. I went to costco online and was ask to take a customer service questionnaire and receive a free gift. The only gift that looked even half way nice was some facial cream. but the free stuff that I didn’t want cost $11.00 for shipping or I could not get out of the Web site. I paid the dam $11.00. Now I find that I must have misssed the small print in The hijacking message. Today I receive a $94.00 bottle of cream. I will return and it report it to credit card fraud Dept if I don’t get fast results The Image of Costco is tarnished greatly by lending your name to such low life , predator style marketing trash.
You may have clicked on a phishing site by mistake. I’ve never seen Costco.com do anything like what you’re describing, and the website is simple and straightforward to use. I really don’t think you were on the Costco site.
I have spent all day calling vendors who I have purchased from with auto pay on my Costco American Express card. Your decision not to renew with American Express has put a tremendous burden on your customers and has dissuaded me from wanting to continue as a customer.
Costco is considering raising its membership fees?! Wow. And what do the members get for the millions Costco stands to make off our backs?? Could it be more bad service, cheaper products, and more irritating policies? Why not fix what’s wrong with your company first and then you wouldn’t need to increase fees? For instance, why not take all credit cards to accommodate everyone? Every major business these days does, except good ol’ Costco. I had a horrible experience with one of the customer service representatives at the store located at 82nd ave and 2nd street, zip code 33126 in Miami. His name is CARLOS, he is nasty, rude and extremely pushy, He tried to sale me the business membership that cost over !00.00 per year and when I said no, he told me that i was making a very bad decision, and after this his attitude changed to the point that I left the store without any membership. Please avoid this guy, he is not going to help you and he is not helping the business. Costco lost a deal today. He shouldn’t be at the front desk, he should be assigned to work at the back since he doesn’t have any people skills.

Costco has become a terrible company and I now first hand how employees are and how someone can be bullied and made fun of when they have Tourettes because my son work there at a warehouse he finally found a job he really liked they trained him he was working any overtime when asked always early when others came in late his boss ask a friend of mine what was up with my son he clears his throat tics ect, she had no right to tell him he has Tourettes Syndrome for one it wasnt effecting his work ethics, she thought she was helping out only then was he let go which upper management found out he had Tourettes and I have only heard horrible things about this person (Supervisor) prior to my son working there however she was very disrespectful when speaking to him then 2 weeks later he was let go his boss said he had no problems with him he liked him and his work ethics they just didnt want him after they found out he had Tourettes its pathetic and this has destroyed him even more hurt his self esteem because he new he did a great job but feels like hes never going to get a job especially when he loved it did what he had to do but was let go. Lies when they say its an open door policy, by this open door policy of speaking to this woman because he was asking about his paycheck he went to her after he spoke with 3 other employees starting with his boss then his boss sent him to another person then another then this nasty woman who has no business being a manager. I have started legal procedures anyone else feel free to help it is wrong what they did and the really peculiar thing that struck me was I read the article about the man that was let go weeks before this happened to my son and then when my friend told me she mentioned to her boss he had Tourettes I was like oh it wont happen again his boss said he had no issues it was upper management!!
I do not appreciate being signed up for a credit card without my approval. Costco and Citibank slamming their credit-card on me without my approval is not only disrespectful to me the customer but it should be illegal! I am hoping a class action law sue is file against both companies for this action! Please join me and contact your attorney general and file a complaint against both companies for this action. They should of sent out a notice with an option foe us the customer to select not receive the credit card prior to just assuming everyone wanted to do business with Citibank.
I have been buying Truenature resveratrol maximum strength for va few years and it has been discontinued and replaced by Truenature grape seed and resveratrol . I checked the milligrams of resveratrol in each and the one no longer carried had 250. Mg compared to the one now carried which has only 30!That is a difference of over 80%!!!!!!!!! And the cost appears to be even more than what I had b even paying for the plain resveratrol. Oh….you added some grape juice and skin but that certainly doesn’t make up for the 80% loss of the resveratrol. Bring back the maximum strength because I will be returning the new bottle I had just purchased. I suggest that everyone who purchases supplements check the label for the content’s milligrams. We are getting screwed!!!!!!!!

I’ve been a member of Costco more than 20 years as of now and I always had a good and professional service from the Costco employees. HOWEVER, I had a terrible customer service and experience at Costco, store #943 today. I was going to forget about what I experienced today; however, I need to bring this concern and issue to the Costco headquarter so that they are aware of what’s going on at that store. So I decided to take my precious time to write this complaint.
My family members lost keys at the Cashier at Costco today. Surely, they were frustrated because they just lost keys. One of the employees has tried to find lost keys for my family which I really appreciated, but a few employees talked my family members down because my family members could not speak English well. At that time, my family felt unappreciated and discriminated. To make a long story short, my wife got home and picked up a spare key for her car which she parked at the Costco parking lot. So we went to Costco together to pick up the vehicle. On the way to Costco, we got a call from Costco that they found keys. We were so happy that they found our keys.
When we arrived at Costco, we stopped by the front desk to pick up the keys. There was an assistant front end manager (Brianna) that I brought a terrible customer service experience to this manger’s attention. While I was talking to her, I did not appreciate the way/manner this manager talked. This manager seemed to not care about my concern and issue. This manager’s attitude was like, “We found your keys, and it is good now. Good bye.” This manager did not realize my family’s frustration when they lost keys. So I recommended Brianna that your employees needed to show sympathy when customers experience like today’s incident. All my family members needed was to feel supportive and that’s it…and we would appreciate it. When this manager showed a bad attitude in front of my family members, I asked for a business card.
This manager stated, “Okay, you want to talk to my general manager. Sure, I will bring him here.” This kind of attitude and service did not solve the problem, and it would actually elevate the problem. When I talked with Dan, General Manager about this assistant manager, he seemed to understand and apologized what happened. This assistant front end manager really needs to get training for a better customer service skill, communication and manner. As a customer, all they need is to feel supportive and understanding….THAT’S IT. By the way, this Costco (Store #943) is a brand new Costco store, and needs to improve a better service for customers. I would like to share our experience with the Costco headquarter and some of the customers.

Many thanks for having some super employees. The young man who runs the gasoline/station Shaun is what you want in all of your employees. Shaun (at the Manchester MO store) always has a smile on his face, talks up Costco as a great store and wonderful place to work.
I wish his managers would tell Shaun that I left a compliment card in the store’s message box but they failed to do so. The key (from being a manager for over 30 years) to ensuring quality customer service is to reinforce the positives, and thank superb employees for great service. I have dealt with Shaun for a number of years, and regardless of how frigid or hot it may be, he is always positive and pleasant to the members.

I shop at the Simi Valley costco I have to say I love the selection however you guys keep discontinuing a lot of what I buy. Example canned peas, neutrogenia, turkey meatballs just to name a few. Also on a different note I have requested garlic pepper seasoning by mc cormick, country crock butter, vegan cheese,knots berry farm preserves. basically less cholesterol foods and more healthier choices. Hairspray and Fixodent would be nice also.

Hi, Jeffrey Grayson a clerk at your Danvers, Ma. Store has targeted me. He was friends with the bodyguard of the mayor of my town. In Peabody, Ma. I objected to s golf course being built on our local watershed, our water was terrible , not as bad as Flint but near enough. I was targeted lost everything. Jeffrey is part of this targeting. I ran away to the mountains of New Hampshire and both these men followed me . They broke into a neighbor’s cabin, hitting me with DEW, directed energy devices all the way. Several times in the Danvers Store I have been hit with DEW. I have shopped at Costco since your store opened near San Diego Ca. I now shop in Danvers , Ma. To make a long story short I saw Jeffrey a few weeks ago and asked him how the targeting business is going , he became very angry, and within a short time I was under observation by your shoplifting staff. I don’t steal so it was an irritant and harassment tactic of Jeffreys, true to form but he taps into this system and now whereever I go I am treated as a thief. The harassment in my neighborhood has increased as well as they are part of this system having most worked for local govt. Is this what Costco stands for? I don’t think so. You have always had a good reputation with me even when I recognized Jeffrey as my harasser. I don’t like my name unwarranted being put on a blacklist.

The right to bear arms is a constitutional right and a anti gun policy by Costco is making me think ,do I want to spend my money at a store that will use your profits to let our gov take our right away from us I like the service your company has given in the past but you should not be involved in politics please re consider your stand on this issue or I will move on

I loved shopping at costco. But recently recently my sister, Jeannie Romero just got wrongfully terminated by Brandon , whom is her manager at store #1014. I have tried to get his last name but no one seems to know. He made this decision solely on his own. I would think that a company as great as Costco would follow some kind of protocol and fully investigate the situation before making such a life altering decision for someone who has given 8 years of dedicated work service to the company. He completely removed Charles Hill , who was suppose to be the investigator on the case. I was told by Charles to call the other manager handling the case, Mr. Matt Tucci. When I did Mr. Tucci acted as though he had no idea what was going on or who was handling the case. He then told me he would pass this information I had given him on to whoever was taking care of the investigation. The next day when ,my sister went in for her review it only turned out to be one person, Brandon making the decision the fire her on the spot. This is WRONGFUL TERMINATION AND AGAINST THE LAW. I will make sure that I have this situation fully investigated. I don’t feel like Brandon even gave her a chance, he had made the decision already for his own personal means. I hope that this gets noticed by the right person , because I can promise all legal issues will be pursued. Mrs. Denise Hindera

Only if you have worked at actual retail store for 20 plus years your go to go even if your worthless employee they use people for this 3 month probation then bye bye I will never ever shop there again
Amen to that , I am having the same problem like you I will not give up until i get to the bottom of my situation, my disrespectful so call manager name is Kelly Phillips store 353 they are having so much going in that store you would think some one from headquarters would pay that store a visit.
