Contacting Coach Headquarters
Coach is a clothing brand famous for clothing and accessories – with a strong focus on Coach bags for men and women. Coach is a high-end company, so merchandise is priced higher than other retailers, including retailers within the same high-end category. Coach was started as a small, mom-and-pop store in 1941. The business was owned and operated by a single family in Manhattan. Six leather workers created pieces from plans handed down through the years. Today more than 500 Coach stores are located in North America alone.

Are your purses guaranteed? My straps are almost worn through where they attach to bag. I have only had it less than three years and I only carry it a few months of the year.
My husband and I live in a little mountIn town in wyoming. We decided we would take a trip to CO.I have been saving and saving to go to the coach outlet in Loveland,CO.when we got there I saw exactly the one I wanted, unfortunately I did not have enough. That was ok with me,I’ll walk into one obe those store one day and buy my very own brand new bag.
My point…. as I was walking out of the store a woman passed me on my way ,not 20 seconds later I turn around and that woman is walking out with 10-12 bags on her arm.
It took me a second to figure out what was going on,as she jumped into a car.the sales gir, came out,I then pointed out the car the woman was in as well as got the plate number. The police were called accordingly.
My reason for wrighting is I hope that woman was caught, and prosecuted.
Il keep saving for mine, what that woman did was not only wrong it was unfair.
I purchased leather wallets from COACH years back. The first COACH leather clutch wallet zipper broke after a couple years… I brought it to COACH store and they did offer me that they can have the broken zipper replaced @ free of charge. My guess, of why COACH had offered such service is that they stand by the quality of their workmanship…..truly, after several years, the COACH clutch wallet zipper is still intact. Currently, I have another tan leather wallet in which I took care of very well like the rest of my COACH belongings for years, shines it with COACH leather cream every now and then ….while I was cleaning the wallet, I notice the zipper broke or it got detached from its slides…may I ask if your store store in SAN JOSE, California can still have my COACH wallet zipper replaced ? PLEASE REPLY VIA EMAIL. Thks.
I visited the Outlet Coach men store at the Chicago Fashion Outlets. The manager (uses RayBan glasses with white inside) refused to exchange an item my boyfriend bought less than 30 days ago because I didn’t have the receipt for the one my boyfriend specifically bought. The back of the receipt CLEARLY states that without a receipt you can still do an exchange within 30 days for the lowest available price within that 30-day period. He still kept asking for a receipt. Which I do not have because it was my boyfriend who bought an item that I had already gotten him (which is why I’m returning it: purchased same item twice). I was going to use said return in the store anyway so I do not understand the need to treat me like a liar.
Fortunately, I went to the women’s store accross the hall and a very nice employee who was working at the store entrance took care of everything.
I will say: if this is how your managers treat your customers at this particular men’s store, I won’t be returning. It’s s shame though.
I bought a pair of coach wedges about 2 months ago and I can’t believe the back sling broke. I would think a so well know and quality company like Coach would make better shoes. I nearly twisted my ankle as I was walking when the strap broke. I now am left with a broken shoe that cost me a good amount of money.

Scammers scammers BBB is being notified now sorry
Hello. Just thought I would notify you that a company on Facebook is stating they are the Coach company. They are a scam. The fraud department at my bank stopped them from stealing my credit card information. I would like to see them shut down. Appreciate it if you would look into this matter.
I have repeatedly tried to call your corporate office. My calls go into voice mail. A 400.00 handbag (tote) I bought as a gift for my daughter the handles piping was defective. If this is way customers are treated, I will on my face Book page (over 200 family and friends coach shoppers) depict my pictures and urge everyone to not your products. I have spent over $2500 dollars in six years as a customer. How sad it is to be treated poorly as a good faith customer.
Mine is doing the same thing. So much for quality.
Catherine, I just read your comment. Did Coach help you? I’m having similar problems with Coach
i bought a so called limited edition bag for my mom two years ago. The red color on the side stained the white body of the bag leaving red patches. I complained but was advised by their Australia customer care office that this is due to over exposure in the sun.
Firstly, my mother is someone who will never spend long time in the sun.
Secondly, in fact she hardly used the bag.
Lastly, i never knew Coach bags cannot take sun.
Have been their loyal customer for many years. Since this incident, i dont even bother to walk into any of their outlets.
I ordered a wallet for myself to match a bag I got for Christmas. I received an e-mail stating that the wallet was on back order. So I called a store that is over an hour away from me to confirm they had it in stock. I called COACH and cancelled my online order and went to the store to purchase the wallet. That same evening I received an e-mail that the order I cancelled had shipped! So, I e-mailed customer service and I was told that they would recall the shipment and refund me. That was ten days ago. I still have not received my refund and the customer service team keeps responding to me with the same generic messages. I will absolutely re-think ever ordering online in the future. COACH obviously does not value their customers. I would expect this treatment from a discount retailer. I never expected my experience with a prestigious company to be so horrendous.
COACH Corporate - I believe I’ve made a mistake by buying (3) COACH bags on line…but they were on sale and now I understand they were mailed form China. I’ve ask them if they are in fact THE COACH store and they assured me they were, have I made a mistake? Still waiting on my order from 11/28/16.
I have been buying Coach products for 30 years and I just bought my last. I went in for stitching repair on a vintage Coach purse and was informed that Coach will not fix it. Clearly the stitching is a manufacturing malfunction, but is not one that qualifies for repair anymore. I originally bought Coach purses because the company stood by their product. Any issues I just had to pay $20.00 fee to send it in for repair, and while there they would clean it also. Coach no longer does this. They no longer upon purchase give you a soft bag to store your new Coach purse in either. I own about 54 purses and the soft storage bag is essential for maintaining the life of a Coach purse. I am no longer going to spend any money on any Coach products. The Coach Company no longer cares about the product. Take it from a long time customer who has spent thousands of dollars ..pick a different Brand
I purchase all my handbags at the Solomon Pond Mall Coach store….
Matt, the manager and the sales staff is the best I have ever experienced. They treat me like I am the only one purchasing a handbag. I love coach handbags and I love the staff at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlboro, Ma. They are extremely professional and know their product. They are the best!!
My story is similar to the other three above. I purchased a Coach purse at the Atlantic City Coach Outlet and to my surprise the leather handles were peeling. I visited the retail store at the Nanuet Shops and was told that I had to pay for the repairs, which I told the store manger that I was disappointed because to me the issue is a manufacture defect. The store manager suggested for me to go to the Woodbury Outlet and maybe they could replace it. Unfortunately they didn’t have another one to replace, My only option was to send it out to repair. which cost me $97.31 on 8/5/16. I really do not want a 305 discount towards another purse, I would like a 100% refund plus the $97.31 that I paid for the repair. if the outcome is not to my satisfaction, I will have to rethink about buying a Coach brand in the future and advise our friends accordingly. Even though I purchased it over a year ago, but only used it the three months of summer, and started to use it again in June 2016, have the original receipt which states the date that it was purchase. The company should trust its customers, when they state the that the purse was barely used or it was used x times. According to other customer Coach purse are to last a lifetime, but I am disappointed that this one did not. Why should I paid for repairs, if I took good care of my purse I personally feel that the leather straps were defective. I personally feel that the Coach does not stand up to their name and product value. I will consider it twice before purchasing another Coach Purse.
It shouldn’t matter how many times you used your Coach bag, the Coach Company should stand behind their Brand. They don’t anymore and it’s sad because I really love Coach products. But I will not buy another Coach product either.
Hi,i live in Uk,i am also having the same problem with a Coach bag,3 weeks after buying it and just a couple of uses it has deshaped,i spent £100 just to go to the Coach outlet store to get a bag as its far away from my place.they are happy to refund but not offering any discount if i want to buy something else from them
Thats a shame that you can’t even offer anything to your customers as a gesture of apology or goodwill
Shame on a big brand
Horrible customer service at Katy Mills Mall outlet store. Tried to take back purse purchase 4 months ago due to threads coming out of one strap. Rudest Manager & sales person behind the counter. Tried to tell me that me (showing in computer) & my son also showing up in system did not have any purchase history at all. That’s ridiculous! We have purchased numerous handbags, wallets, etc. in the past couple of years. Last time I had a problem with the snakeskin the other mgr. took care of it right away. I will never go to that store again!!!
Our story is similar to the other three above. My wife owns dozens of Coach purses and dozens of other well known brands. In fact she just purchased three more Coaches. However, recently we had one of her purses sent for repair at the suggestion of Coach outlet manager. Like many others, we were advised that the purse is not repairable and it is returned with 30% discount coupon. It is appalling that Coach does not stand behind its products which means that we have to rethink about buying a Coach brand in the future and advise our friends accordingly. The website is silent or at best vague on the policy. We did not have the receipt so the company goes by the manufacturing date without realizing that ladies have several dozen purses which are occasionally used. The company should learn to trust its customers if they are telling that the purse was barely used or it was used x times. I believe the company reps will tell that their purses last the lifetime but if something goes wrong, Coach simply turns their eyes the other way. How pathetic, shameful, and customer bashing Coach ?
I have bought multiple Coach purses in the past and recently noticed one is defective. Where it zips there are multiple splotches where it looks as if the dye has come off. I tried to post a picture but was not able to. I went to a local Coach store at the mall today to get resolution to the problem. Instead of taking responsibility for a defective product I was accused of spilling pop on it or using some type of chemical to clean it with which I certainly did not do. In fact I have several premium quality purses such as Brahmin and Kate Spade and have NEVER had one with any problem like this. I was appalled that a company would immediately place responsibility back on the customer for something that is clearly a defective product.
My hot pink Coach bag did the exact same thing. First i noticed a gummy like film on the handle, then the handle was sticky and stuck to the purse. I tried a special handbag cleaner made for them, and the pink dye started coming off. After seeing all these bad stories about the defective handbags, i guess i will not try to contact Coach. I was reading through all the complaints before i contacted them, to see if anyone else had this problem, and i saw your post. Thanks for that information!
RE # J162768200001. I am extremely disappointed that Coach not honoring their policy. I returned my bag to have the straps replaced as its clearly breaking, went into the Coach store, paid $20+ to have the bag sent in for repairs and instead of repair I received my purse returned saying the is was not repairable. What, you can’t replace a black strap????? Oh and I also recieved a 40% off coupon that can only be used at a full price store and sales are excluded. That is not resolving the issue with my bag nor is that honoring Coach’s policy. You expect your customers to spend their hard earned money on your products and then when your product fails the customers you send a coupon instead of a guaranteed repair or exchanged which was the initial promise, that is bad business and customer service. I do not appreciate being left without a Coach bag or having to spend out of pocket for a replacement bag. Sincerely, Former Customer
invite Food & beverages , kindly forward us your company email address.
I am extremely disappointed and taken back by Coach not honoring a policy that is blatantly expressed by their employees. I returned my bag to have the straps replaced, the last thing I expected to see was my bag nicely repackage and returned in the same condition with a 40% off coupon.
To whom it may concern,
I felt compelled to share with you my reaction to your ads
in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The ads feature models who appear to be very thin. The model with a description Crosby Carryl in pale blue looks extremely thin.
It is disappointing and sad to see a.company with your rich history decide to portray extreme thinness with your products. I bpught a pair of Coach driving mocs yesterday!
