I bought a 2015 Victory 8 ball vegas. It was brand new. Then Victory went out of business and is hard to find parts and mechanics near me. I have put 7000 miles on the bike. It first began with the front rim scrapes on the brakes every time i make a turn, the exhaust pops every time I slow down, I had to have the spring tightened because it was rattling. NOW i found a crack in the exhaust and since it has been over 2 tears and i do not have the warranty any more i have to do the work on it my self. I pulled off the exhaust and found that the inside of the motor is covered in silt, also they never put gaskets in the headers. I am tired of this. I traded in my 2006 Harley Davidson for the bike and it is was a mistake. I am going to get a layer if I don’t hear back.
we are the company NEKEN , we produce some variable diameter for the OEM industry like KTM , TRIUMPH , HVA , DUCATI and so one . and we are interstime for become suplier for Indians . We are also supllier foor the motorcycle industrie concerning some forging + michining part .
Is it possible to get the e mail adress from the purchasing department in order to present our capacity ?
Best regards
Benoit Beaumont
i have recently just purchased a 2018 rzr 1000 xp rockcrawler addition from off road express in erie pa, it was a left over from last year but still brand new. im writing this because i have 260 miles on it not even to its first maintenance and my primary clutch blew but, witch of coarse messed my belt up, along with the belt housing. you guys are saying it was causes from the clutch heating up and cooling quickly and do not want to honor a warranty on this vehicle, ive been a long term customer of you guys until this occurred. I want everyone to know that you guys didn’t only not fix it but did nothing to even make me feel like you cared about the fact that i just spent $23,000 on the vehicle and this happens from the get go. i will never own another Polaris if you wont even honor a primary clutch, and i will make it a point to make sure non of my family, friends, or co workers buy one of your products. id appreciate response but the way i see you treat you customers i probably wasted my time typing this. Again thank you for nothing.
I have a 2013 Polaris Sportsman EFI. It is in the shop and has been for going on 4 weeks. Last time I talked with them It was still miss firing. I have had enough of this. It is at Destination Power Sports in Clinton, SC. If someone can’t get something done this is the last time I will contact anyone. I am seriously considering a lawyer. After reading some of the complaints. That may be my next step.
Did you ever get a lawyer and what was the outcome ?
I have a Polaris Ranger. The camshaft faled after 480 hours. Polaris seems to know about this. They failed to harden the lobs. I am going thru heck trying to get them to just send the parts to my dealer. I am willing to pay labor. DO NOT ever buy a Polaris. They use junk, cheap parts. I have had 2 - 2×4 Trail Bosses. 1 - 4×4 Trail Boss and this Ranger. All have had problems. I am 67 years old. We do not ride in the dunes. We just putt around our farm with them. I sold all ATV’s I will sell the Ranger soon as it is running. HONDA is ALL I buy now. They go forever. And have wonderful customer serivce. Unlike Polaris. DO NOT Deal with Samantha. She will never retunr calls or try to work with you. I would love to talk with Scott Wines but you’ll never get his email address. Maybe because he is only worth 43 million.
i purchased a 2017 polaris razor a week ago less than 100 hours on it. i spoke to the last owner he traded it because polaris fails to repair what they did, they use cheap parts garbage parts and cause a lot of problems to clutches belt and transmissions. they fail to realize they built garbage parts and other companies buid new clutch systems that make polaris look like garbage, Is impossible to crawl or load your unit into a trailer with no bucking, shaking and tearing up your belt, was replaced by polaris dealer twice in less than 100 hours they came to my house and replaced it was ready to brake again…..i tried to be nice i’m done being nice. i’m contacting BBB and other agencies i already contacted state attorney and after reviewing the 1ooo’s of same complaints they said is a serious issue that might required a recall so guess what, instead of placing complaints here that no one cares including polaris i place a email so they can call me to work this out and they call me 1 hour later from a block id gave no name and refuse to give name and all he did in 15 minutes is cover his own ass. well guess what i might not have your name and phone but i have you recorded and now i’m putting this in hands of a lawyer to contact state attorney to file a class action on a matter they refuse to agree, they know they build garbage and now they have noway out. they lost me as a customer going to CAN AM even if i do not win anything i will not stop till i go legal and go public is 166 post here and not a good thing about Polaris we make them Rich and they turn on you, is time to make them pay. if you want to join the lass action law suit against them reply to my company mail with your name address and phone so lawyers can call you and get required signature so stop wasting your time and do something about it

Do not buy a Polaris product you will be sickened. Ours started very first day 102 hours and can not enjoy
We have purchased a Polaris sportsman 570. We have had this in the shop a total of 3 times in less than a year for the same issue. The last time in August 2018 we were informed that the Polaris company sent out a bad batch of fuel pumps and we needed a new one. We had it fixed and thought our problem was solve and in 3 months of getting that new fuel pump it went out in less than 3 months. We use it for recreational purposes so not a lot of hours on it . We were told Polaris said they would in my pay for 150.00 if part and 1hour of labor. Which still leaves us owing another 514.00 to get our ATV out. The same part doing the same thing and costing us more money than we should have to pay. I could understand if we raced tit but it is used on a family property only 4 days a month…so I feel like this should not be happening in less than 3 months. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and going on to social media as well letting them know what horrible service Polaris has provided.
Indian Motorcycle of Fort Lauderdale was contracted to sell my Harley. They sold it but have refused to pay me out the 15K they owe me. I have chronicled my complaint on social media and was contacted by another person who is presently having the same exact experience.
I have contacted Indian Motorcycle Corporate offices for assistance and was told they could not help me. You have dealerships stealing in your business’ name and as a company, are you really willing to do nothing? They bare the Indian Motorcycle name on their store front and you are allowing them to defraud your customers out of thousands of dollars that are rightly owed to them. How is this anything short of corporate sanctioned theft?????
Hello, Polaris lost me as a customer, and as I told the rude snotty condensending customer service representative I went out and bought a new Yamaha. Miss customer non- service made every excuse why they would not help me with the new ATV purchase. It was my 2nd Polaris and my last. NEVER AGAIN POLARIS. Be smart buy a YAMAHA

Mr. Holten,
I am writing after a very frustrating week in dealing with my 2014 Rzr 1000. The rzr was purchased at $23,000.00 from Red River Sports in Gainesville, Texas. From the first week I have owned this Rzr, it has not ran consistently! The very first week I had it, I drove 6 hrs pulling a trailer with other rzrs only to watch my friends enjoy the Canadian River with me on the sideline, with a brand new, broken down Rzr. After having it repaired with no hours on it, I enjoyed it for several hours before it broke down AGAIN, same thing! Repaired it again and at 42 hrs broke down AGAIN, this time, it was needing a top end! I was told it was a manufacture defect so, Polaris good willed the parts with me willingly paying the $900 to cover labor cost.
I went on a weekend trip to River Run in Jacksonville, Texas for a long weekend Friday thru Sunday, ran sluggish, parked it at 72 hours, Rzr failed to start for a 4th time!! This Rzr has been a headache from the day of purchase. I have not been able to recreate or enjoy this unit without problems. Now I am being told that the top end needs to be repaired, for a second time!! That is UNSATISFACTORY! After only 30 hours from the first top end repairs, top end needs to be repaired again???? Originally, I was given an estimated cost of $2,2200.00. Based on the previous sub standard work, manufacture defects, whatever the cause, who knows, I DID NOT agree to pay for repeated repairs, without having Polaris incur total cost of parts and labor herein.
After speaking with the owner Kurt Roberts and Riley in the repair shop, they were able to get Polaris to “good will” the parts, but not the labor??!! Again, UNSATISFACTORY!!! I believe after speaking to other Polaris dealerships, other Polaris certified mechanics in the DFW area, NO ONE is of the opinion that I should be responsible for a dime, considering the facts, past issues, SAME REPEATED repairs. Polaris should eat/cover the labor cost. Also, this unit has had 4 recalls, I truly believe that this unit “lemon” will never be good, I have spent thousands of dollars on top of the original cost, Again, UNSATISFACTORY for a consumer to be blatantly disregarded as such.
It is my understanding that it is very UNCOMMON to cover parts and not the labor!! I urge you to inquire about my situation, I have not over used, mistreated, or made any modifications to this unit! I would like a swift remedy to include all labor cost as they have already agreed to cover the parts.
Not included in this letter are all the indirect costs I have incurred hauling this unit to and from all repairs including vacation time with failed starts/ engine issues. Your prompt attention and swift resolution is greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Update: Mr Holten,
Its been 20 hrs since this unit has been out of the defunct Red River Polaris dealership in Gainesville, Texas
Guess what?? same issue, same result, UNIT Won’t START, NO COMPRESSION, THE TOP END is out again!!!! I am writing you to give you an opportunity to stand behind your product, either LEMON this unit or good will the parts and labor again FOR A THIRD freaking TIME!!! SINCE THE DAY OF PURCHASE, THIS UNIT HAS BEEN IN A POLARIS REPAIR SHOP EVERY 20 HOURS, any MORON knows that this is a great injustice to any consumer.
UNIT IS 4 YEARS OLD, to me? has no bearing since its been in the shop once or twice a year for the same issues for 4 years!! IT HAS NEVER EVER BEEN RIGHT!! IT IS CLEARLY DOCUMENTED IN THE SERVICE COMPUTER. RILEY, IN THE GAINSVILLE, TEXAS STORE IS VERY AWARE OF MY TROUBLES!! *****Please Make it Right***
I have spoken to the new ownership, they have read the service notes and agree that there is a problem with the lower end that keeps affecting the top end. They have agreed to work with me as much as they can. My request to you is to LEMON this unit or make it right by “good willing” the parts and labor. Unless someone can show that this unit has been abused in 20 hours, I will not accept anything less.
I have spoken to an attorney, but I would like to take the lessor or two roads. I would like to avoid the cost of litigating this matter in the courts. It would cost us both more than a rebuild or new motor!
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated!! I will be AGAIN, AGAIN, spend my money, take a day off, to trailer this unit back to Gainesville, Texas without compensation!!
I know your a busy man, but an email acknowledging my concerns would be greatly appreciated. I own a 2012 800S, very happy with it, never been in a shop outside of service.

Hi to whom this may concern ,My name is William Parnall ,me and four friends own Polaris Rangers ,all with the same problems ,front differential bearings gone ,from 570 to 900 from 2011 to 2014 ,we all enjoy riding our polaris rangers very much, but these bearing problems in the front differential are a costly mechanical expense ,for the average rider ,we believe it may have some thing to do with the angle drive shaft putting more pressure on the front differential ,not a 100% sure but possible ,our dealers tell us it lack of service but our differential oils are changed every spring as well as rear diff ,as the rear has to be changed twice a year as it draws water every time we cross a river or creek ,were just wondering if there is some changes coming in the future for polaris rangers yours truly William Parnall
I to am disappointed in my purchase of a 2017 Sportsman Highlifter. The bike just got out of the shop two weeks ago and I am having a similar problem . Now I have to adjust my work schedule to bring back to the shop and absorb another several hundred dollars to get fixed. I am expecting someone from Polaris to contract me about standing behind their product 4XASXM959HA623219
I have been purchasing Polaris equipment for quite a few years now and am currently in possession of my fourth Ranger-a 2017 XP 1000. My experience with your products has been satisfactory enough to earn my continued loyalty. My recent experience, however, has caused me to rethink this.
From the start, my new Ranger had problems such as clunking into gear, extremely rough starts, and terrible pulsating in slow speed situations. Because it was new, I thought this was temporary and would improve once everything was broken in. This was not the case. After 362 miles and 38 hours, the problem was no better. In fact, it had actually grown far worse. I returned it to my dealer who in turn made a claim to Polaris. The statement that came from Polaris was “nothing could be done” and that “this was normal operation.” Polaris further suggested “just give it more gas when taking off.” After I received this response, I did some research and discovered this problem is not isolated but is in fact a well-known, widespread issue.
In order to get my 2017 XP 1000 Ranger to operate, as it was supposed to from day one, I had to spend an additional $1,500. This is completely unacceptable and unreasonable. You are essentially forcing your customers to buy the Ranger itself while knowing it will require modifications to make it operated properly and above all safely. I certainly thought better of your company’s values, but I was clearly wrong. This behavior is disgraceful and unethical and because of it, I will no longer be supporting or recommending your brands to anyone in the future. This will be my last Ranger as I see no reason to continue doing business with such a disreputable company.

To all above sorry to learn of your expensive mishap with polaris, I to experienced poor customer response and under designed products , Purchased a 2014 RZR 1000 problems from the get go multiple recalls and failures . I had all the issues resolved then I traded it for and X3 Can Am, outstanding performance , quality ride , and not a single issue to date after 1 year of ownership, Prior I purchased a 2014 Honda Pioneer it to was exceptional with work performance and quality and not a single issue, But I traded it for the Can Am Defender with no regrets just a phenominal machine when it comes to ride and performance and is a very quiet unit which is great for hunting. I recommend CAN AM
Thank You
To whom it might concern , my wife recently purchased a 2017 Polaris Ranger 500 in Connecticut . The sale process was good the service process/ warranty after the sale is terrible. We have been waiting for a part since November 15, 2107. Called dealership on Dec 2nd and was told they forgot to order part . Part arrived Dec 7th and was incomplete, again I was told it was there fault , sorry . Thursday email part next day ordered will be here Friday update part did not arrive should be here Monday Dec 11th then off to you. This cannot be the type of customer service Polaris Corporate expect for there customers. This is actually the second Pre Delivery Issue we have felt with . The winch was wound incorrectly which I took apart and fixed with the permission of the dealership , I was told this was the fault of Polaris at the factory ( not this was the fault of a shoddy Pre Delivery Inspection at the Dealership ) Very Disappointed we want a plow for this unit and to also purchase another in 2018 yet are really thinking of changing Brands. I talked with the owner Mark about my concerns he said he would take care of it yet after I left him a message about the missing parts he has yet to call me back.

Explain to me how you are seeing hydrolock on a brand new machine that has never seen water?
I am a mechanic and I can look at an engine and tell u if it’s been hrdro locked and this one has not ever seen water. Air filter box dusty not clean. No water signs at all. Spark plug looks new no signs of any water intrusion burnt only plugs or valves for that matter. It seems Polaris has an issue admitting that a defect happen inside the engine with a wrist pin or cylinder sleeve and want to try and push it back on the consumer.
This machine has been very well taken care of and has never been abused. Yet your cover photos on all your sites show them in the mud, sand, water etc and mine has been in none. Everyone makes mistakes and Polaris should own up to when they have a defective engine in play. I spent 15,000 on a machine that is sitting in a shop instead of in my garage. And the rude lady on the phone says she is the highest up and to be patient. How can I be patient when your telling me that you are not wanting to pay for a engine that blew at 6 months old cause u think it was hydro locked with no evidence of hydro locked. Only evidence of a clean looking well taken care of machine.
This is what I’m being told but shop it’s at shows no signs of any of this.
I just wanted to let you know that the Langley Polaris dealership does not carry parts for ATVs before 2010. I just went in to get a battery for my ’07 500 2Up and they didn’t have any in stock and it will take at least a week to arrive after ordering it. We tried to get parts for it early summer and they didn’t have any. Where do we have to go to get parts - Chilliwack, a good hour drive away. Five Star has had everything I’ve needed every time. I just phoned them and they have two in stock. What is the matter with the Langley Polaris shop? The older models are the ones that would be needing parts.
In 2014, I bought a 2014 Polaris Scrambler 570 EFI and I told Horn’s Outdoor Center(where I bought it), that there was no cover on the battery or casing around the battery, they said it wouldn’t be a problem, however, in 2015, while on vacation in Potter County, while riding, the strap that holds the battery wore through, releasing its contents and stopping the ATV, out on the trail, 12 miles from camp.I Replaced battery and spark plug and it hasn’t run since. But I have noticed on the new polaris’s they have covers on the battery, my 4 wheeler right now sits at Horn’s Outdoor Center for a recall, I feel that I shouldn’t have to pay to fix this issue, because the battery cover missing, was the problem. It should be added to the recall! I have been purchasing Polaris ATV’s since 1986. I have an 1986 trail boss, 1999 trailblazer, 2000 scrambler and 2014 sportsman, all bought brand new and all run like the day I bought them, except the 2014!!! Very disappointed and I hope they fix this issue to bring my confidence back to continue to buy Polaris. I was going to buy my wife a new wheeler but depending on the outcome of this issue, it will determine whether I buy a new one and continue to be a longtime customer of polaris.
Help! We purchased a used 2011 Ranger 800 Crew from a Polaris dealer last year. The dealer told us it was all good and ready to go. We started having problems with it losing power months later, and then it would pick back up. We googled it, and seems that that year and model has that problem. Lots of complaints, and we tried all of the solutions. We took the machine back to the dealer and are being told it needs a new motor, fuel pump, etc., and will cost approximately $6,000!! I don’t believe that is the problem - I believe it is a design problem that has caused all of this. How can I contact someone in Polaris that can help me with this? I always understood that Polaris was the way to go - excellent products and excellent service. That is why we purchased it through a dealer and not off the street. Help anyone?

I just bought a 2017 Indian chieftain and I have already had three different problems including being stranded on the side of the road. Super disappointing so far and a real let down to say the least. I really like the bike however very concerned about reliability! The local dealership is starting to give me the run around and acting inconvenienced by my troubles. Cool bike, but certainly won’t recommend.
This is Brad again now I am having a problem with the gear shift indicator as it isn’t working properly. It will misread neutral as second when idling and at times will shut off while idling and throw a chassis error on dash which is actually the error from the indicator misread. Another problem on a new bike very disappointing to say the least. When you spend this much money I would expect much more reliability than this product has produced! I would have a very hard time recommending this brand based on the lack of reliability thus far!
After several off brand quad purchases, we bought a 2014 outlaw 90 for our 6 yr old son . We trusted the name and we thought their was quality of the brand. July 2017 the swing arm breaks in-half our son is now 8yrs old and weights 98lbs. We take it to a dealer Gattos in Tarentum PA, as a factory defect. The dealer has never seen anything like this. It was submitted to Polaris. The response from Polaris was we did not perform regular maintenance or someone too large was riding it. All maintenance was done on this quad including extra additions and he is our only child, no adults ride his quad! If Polaris would have stuck by their product in this situation and made it right, they would have had a customer for life. We had plans to buy him the new Phoenix 200 from Polaris this spring to upgrade. Beware if you chose this brand for your kids. NEVER AGAIN, POLARIS LOST A CUSTOMER TODAY.
With you on this one.
NEVER AGAIN POLARIS LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER
Keep posting this and it keeps getting removed.
Will try and leave it as a reply.

We would like to know why Polaris took so much time and energy to shut down letting us street legal our new Polaris razor. All we wanted was to drive to the dunes from our campground. We have a 39 foot toy hauler to transport it to our campgrounds. We waited a long time to purchase this and when we purchased it last August 1, 2016 NO ONE not even the dealer was aware you guys were putting a halt to this. WE NEVER would have purchased one let alone bought the extra equipment to make it street legal. We finished it and only because the police officer was on a week vacation we lost out on obtaining the license. You pushed for making the slingshot in all the states legal to ride on the roads; which we feel is not a safe as the razor we have. No wipers, no air bags, and it’s wide open, belt driven. It’s nothing more than a go-cart. Thank you so much for ruining this for the consumer. You quit making a great motorcycle, and by doing what you did you are only going to put yourself out of business. Or maybe that is what you guys are looking to do?
I have purchase a yearly Polaris Office for $39 and twice for $5.99 monthly and they have send me an email telling me that it’s expired after 30 days what a joke you cannot get in touch with no one and that’s how they take your and no service I would not recommend anyone to deal with Polaris Office.
Polaris Office has absolutely nothing to do with Polaris Industries.
Perhaps this might have something to do with your difficulties in getting support…
Hello,
Greetings from Romania,
My name is Bogdan Anania and I represent a Polaris Dealer in Roman, Neamt County.
We want to print a large size banner in order to promote the POLARIS ATV/UTV in a certain area of interest in Romania. In order to obtain a high quality print we need good quality pictures. I found two photos which I think would look nice on this banner (11 m x 7.5 m). I would like to ask for your permission to use those photos and if that’s possible, please contact me via e-mail to send you the pictures I am talking about.
Thank you for your time, looking forward for your reply.
Best regards
I purchased a 2016 RZR Turbo and have had issues from day one. So far my experience with Polaris has been less than satisfactory. They do not care about the consumer!!!
This is so true I own a 2015 and day one clutch exploded and it went down hill very fast. Machine has 100 hours on it and doesn’t do anything has been in a shop going on 7 months with not one respond from Polaris. Never will I recvomned them
We purchased a 2016 Turbo as well and have found that we can’t drive it in the mountains because it overheats. Only reason we bought the Turbo was because it was on sale for the same price as the non-turbo so we thought we were getting a good deal. Found out immediately that they were trying to get rid of them because they knew there was a problem with them. That’s why they completely changed the front end and radiator system on the 2017. Their advice was that the dealer has to replicate the problem before they can fix it. I guess the dealer is supposed to take it up into the mountains! Pretty sad when we could drive the $15,000 2011 Rzr 800 up in the mountains but we can’t drive the vehicle we paid $25,000 for in the mountains. Not at all satisfied with their customer service and will recommend to friends and family to not buy one.
Good day. I would like to enquirer about your Polaris ranger series. I live inThabazimbi South Africa I would like to know if you can get them right hand drive. I am a fan of the ranger series even though I don’t own one. But I still would like to know. Thank you. Good day.
I was wondering do you have any programs the disabled. I worked as a HVAC Journeyman for 28 years then an accident with a boiler and carbon monoxide happened and damaged my brain to the extent i can No longer walk and havent for 3 years now. I love to garden but now its just to look at. I live on a farm that use to love to go back to the woods. I can still drive just cant.walk due to no Neurologist with say 100% workers comp wont pay so i went from 6 figures to disability ss so if theres a program of a giveaway . Pick me. I could get out and about without my electric scooter and get out to nature. Thank you and God bless if this can be done
I have a 2016 switchback assault 800 and 2015 switchback assault 600 and they both cut out when driving like someone hit kill switch let off gas a bit and goes good again I have called my dealer about this and they gave me the run around and told me that they do that you have to hold it wife open I’m sure I’m not the first one to experience this because my brother bought a 2016 switchback assault 800 last month and it is doing that same thing we are very disappointed the answers we get are bs there is obviously a problem fix it .is should not have to pay to get it fixed when I’m already paying for it .if something is not done my next skidoo will definitely not be a polaris that’s for sure and I will definitely spred the word around
So it’s been over 48hrs and I still have not received a reply or a phone call from POLARIS……………Please have the common courtesy to at least reply back to answer my questions… I’m still waiting
3/23/2017

What kind of customer service is this?
Don’t buy polaris!!!!!
It is now April 17, 2017 2:44 pm and still no response from polaris regarding my vehicle issuesales. Very disappointed at your customer service!!! Please respond
Have a 2016 ranger crew 570eps. It comes with a tire gauge that is not capable of reaching the required air pressure needed for the tires. Dah!
Hi - This past fall I purchased a 2017 Polaris Switchback Assault 800. I did my deal through a dealer in Michigan even though I live in Iowa because this particular dealer is excellent to deal with. I have put on roughly 1,100 miles so far this season & like the sled although what I was really have been wanting for several years was the 2018 Polaris SKS 146. I was looking for something comparable to the ski-doo Freeride sled but didn’t want to buy a Doo. Needless to say it took Polaris a few more years than Doo to finally address this segment of the market. Well, unfortunately in the meantime I bought my $13,000 SBA last fall which has since depreciated an exorbitant amount of money due to Polaris giving away the farm in the form of rebates. So my $13,000 sled is now worth $9,000 on a good day. And to make matters worse, I finally see the sled I want to purchase in the new 2018 SKS 146 but I can’t afford to do so because I would get nothing for a trade-in on my current sled. I feel strongly that Polaris should provide some financial incentives to folks who purchased brand-new 2017 sleds prior to the sledding season at full price so that they are able to trade-up if they would like to. I know I would entertain that idea if something were offered to me (hint hint). Jim
Can you please build a shot start for my Polaris Pro Rmk 800
I purchased a 2016 Slingshot in late Sept. 2016, it’s got less than 800 miles on it and we noticed a leak in the rear yolk seal. We were told when we purchased the Slingshot in Missoula any Polaris or Chevy Dealership would be able to help us with our service needs. Unfortunately, once the bike hit the 500 mile mark and needed a service and then we noticed the yolk leak we also discovered there wasn’t a dealership anywhere near our hometown that would even look at the bike because they weren’t familiar with it. So here we are needing to get the Slingshot back to Missoula which is over 100 miles away. Now we have a trailer that hauls 2 no big four wheelers but its no where big enough to haul a Slingshot. So while we were waiting for winter to get it over so we could drive it to Missoula, we get a letter from Polaris with a laundry list of recalls that now make longer an option to even drive the Slingshot to Missoula. 1) Swing arm issues, 2) Gas line issues, 3) Break willing issues, and 4) Steering column issues!!!!! So we contact the dealership in Missoula and they were more than to pick up the Slingshot with their enclosed trailer but, the pickup and drop off is costing us $400.00!!!!! I get that the dealership is an small business and they need to make money but shouldn’t Polaris be paying for this??? This is a $26,000 vehicle and it’s obviously poorly built and it’s already costing me more money than it’s worth. In the past I have had Harleys and last summer I got jerked around by them so I said never again and now Polaris isn’t doing much better. I have to say, I have one of the few Slingshots in Montana and it does get a lot of attention but, I won’t be giving any positive feedback when I talk to people anymore.
I recently purchased(August) new a 2016 Slingshot SL hold over. Malta, New York. Had it serviced at it 500 (725 miles) mile mark in late August. Brought it home and after a few hundred more miles I noticed the swingarm drive was dripping gear oil on my matt. I took pictures and brought back to dealer. They took pictures so it could be submitted to Polaris for Warranty approval. Hmmmm less then a month old and less then 1200 miles and need approval for an obvious manufacturer problem. It is now September 11,2017. My first bank payment is in three days. Still have heard nothing. Doesn’t sound very promising after reading these comments.
Jodie just saw your post. I have a 2016 slingshot that has had the steering column replaced 3 times still having issues. I was just wounding if you got a resolution to that problem . Love my slingshot but hate the fact that I have to worry about losing control due to poor steering every time I take it out.dealership seems lost
I bought a 2017 Polaris rzr 1000 xp se and there is a vibration in the front drive shaft. From what I found on the internet it’s been an on going problem. I have called the customer care service a few times and it all ends the same way they hang up on me. Is there any way to get through to get this problem solved for me without having me taking the drive shaft out and getting it fixed or timed right.
Thanks for all the hard work you’ve done for all the outdoor riders all around the world.
I own 2 Victory motorcycles and Polaris ATV. Your decision to stop producing Victory was a kick in the gut to us loyal customers. If you would have created a better network, updated the current bikes to what customers wanted, you could have made your measley greedy profit you were looking for. I will not buy an Indian because I don’t like the looks of them, never have, and definitely will not after this fiasco move. I have no choice to buy a Harley next year if I want to stick with American product. I am sure you will lose a large customer base with Victory going away, including myself. Your decision has created a distrust in your company that I cannot forgive and I will never buy another Polaris product again. Good luck
I have been brand loyal to Victory, since 2003. The reason Victory has lost money lately fall on Polaris management decisions and not the product itself. You will do the same with Indian and Indian will fail for you as well. You need a more knowledgeable motorcycle management team than you presently have. You are not building sleds you are building bikes. You had a great brand and market in Victory until you kept chipping it away year after year until you made it fail.
You lost me I will never buy another Polaris product again.
Alright here’s a proposition for you at Polaris. As you may know a gentleman named Erik Buell has had a lifelong passion for motorcycles both designing and riding great bikes. As of this week his company EBR has faltered once again and hasn’t gained any ground due to lack of dealership franchises. This is going to be the second time since Harley-Davidson dumped him off that he has had to watch his dreams disintegrate before him. This is where I believe Polaris industries can benefit from this situation. EBR is the ONLY American sport bike company on the market, a very big niche in the motorcycle market. Polaris industries currently lacks a sport bike within its motorcycle assets i.e. victory, indian, can-am. If Polaris were to invest in EBR it could potentially help drive the EBR bike prices down whilst increased production and dealer exposure would drive sales up to a point where american sportbikes could keep pace with Japanese competitors. The pieces are there and waiting to be played upon, it could be a sweet opportunity for Polaris
Way to go Polaris! Great decision on discontinuing the finest motorcycle ever produced! I will never buy a Indian Motorcycle now or in the future! I own and ride a Victory Hammer and Victory Rules the Motorcycle world! Not Indian! I’m 62 years old and have been riding since I was 13! Finally someone produces a Motorcycle that commands respect from every Harley rider out there and you guys in your infinite wisdom cancel production! Victory Rules! Not Indian! Victory Forever!
I sold my 2014 1000 rzr to buy new polarias ranger high lifter crew it has been on order for 5 months they kept pushing back ship date with no reason why so I canceled it now I have nothing to ride polarias just lost a good customer
I recently bought a Polaris Slingshot it has around 5,000 miles on it and is in excellent shape …
I decided on trading this in for an Indian Chieftain but man talk about not holding value , l have around 26,000 into this machine and my best offer was 15,500 my lowest 14,000 so in one year this machine depreciated almost 12 grand …..So if you purchase one of these machines make sure it’s really what you want because your first 10 plus thousand is out the window …..
Your corporate decision to close down production of the Victory brand is a terrible decision to you as a corporation. I purchased a Victory Hammer motorcycle in 2010 after careful deliberation into the Polaris brand and the long-term goals of the company, I purchased another Victory in 2014 and this time it was the Cross Country Tour, they have been great motorcycles with no maintenance needed on either of my bikes. The problem is your marketing of the brand and not keeping up with other manufacturers of new products and having more to choose from, you should fire your marketing department of the Victory brand because they did a horrible job of bringing in new customers and competing against Harley Davidson. Great Marketing with the great product will give you the profit you’re looking for, I will not buy an Indian because I don’t like the looks of them and they have a lot of issues and recalls which I never had to worry about with the Victory brand. I have no choice to buy a Harley next year if I want to stick with American product. I am sure you will lose a large customer base with the Victory going away and I will never buy a Polaris product again.
Requesting a return contact for corporate office from Scott W. Wine
I have a letter from Scott Wine about Polaris commitment to safety. I have a hard time with keep buying Polaris rzr and they keep having fire problems. I have a 2013 900 that had a recall for this. I bought a 2017 1000XP which had a recall on it and I just sold it with 28 miles on it because of the problems. My question to Scott is why should I buy another rzr if they are going to have the same problems. I sold my 2017 1000XP and took a beating on it because the fire issue scared me. I am in the process of thinking what to buy next. Looking at the 2018 1000XP 4 Turbo but afraid to put my family in it. What can you tell me to convince me to buy it with a good feeling doing so. If I were to buy the 1000xp 4 Turbo what incentives or rebates could I get to do so? You can look my name up in your system to see that I did purchase both of the machines and or I could produce you serial numbers to prove that I am not some loud mouth complainer.
i have bought 6 polaris sleds a 800 rzr.and i will never buy a nut or a bolt from cour’d alane polaris again! had them rebuild my 09 dragon on warrenty 3yrs ago. got it back never rode it because i bought a 12 pro. had a chance to sell it lately it blew up 1 mile from pickup. i knew that 3yrs later doesn’t matter its on me. call em up asked if they could at least get me a deal on part’s and i will fix this time. 947.00 later told them same kit u put in last time he said yes it was 1300.00 last time. ane way got the kit. my bad could have got a lot cheaper my self from rktec or mountain tec! but got them, put it together. they’re mechanic sucks gave me wrong pistons. guess i should have checked now they want 300.00 more to exchange never again
I own a Victory Vision that I purchased (new) in December 2008. The bike has run flawlessly and has never let me down. My wife and I decidec that we would buy a new Victory in 2017 and we’re anxiously awaiting to see/here about your 2018 models. Now that you have discontinued Victory production, that planned purchase has been cancelled. We are NOT interested in Indians’ or the Slingshot. In fact, I don’t think that we will ever buy another Polaris product. In my view, Polaris made a “fatal” business decision by canceling Victory production….Too bad as Victory was a superior motorcycle that filled the gap between way too expensive Harleys/ Indians and less expensive road bikes….
I have owned Polaris snowmobiles since I was 12, but after owning an 09 assault ( I got 7 rides on before blowing the motor) and had to pay $3500 to have built right, since Polaris’s fix was to detune it to 10-1 compression, then bought a 13 pro and again blew the motor and again had a long rod kit put in it ( not by a Polaris service department ) and then sold it! I know ride a ski-doo and will NEVER EVER own one of your cheaply built machines again! Shittiest machines built!
Thank god they cut that ugly a$$ victory line. It looks like all the riders voted for hillary from all the whining. who knew bikers could be such snowflakes?
I think it was not a smart decision to close down the production of Victory motorcycle ! Very disappointing, you have one of the best new American build products on your shelf and give up to fast just because you are not making as much money you wanted to , however you should fired your marketing people ! That’s where you should start and not closing down Victory ! Great marketing great product great profit! Simple business decision or fire the board and Ceo
it was a genius decision. Victory was dead and Indian is the future. Blame your victory buddies not polaris.
My son purchased a brand new Polaris Switchback Assault 800 in Dec of 2016 and finally in Jan 2017 he gets to go on first real ride on groomed trail and the sled doesn’t even get him to his destination without leaving him stranded on the trail he was doing about 30km/ph on groomed trail hit a bump and busted up the control arm and broke the shock in two now after spending over $17000.00 one would like to think they would be able to enjoy winter riding with no issues but no brought sled back to dealer where it was purchased and was told that warranty would NOT cover it so to enjoy riding the rest of the season we have to put another $1000.00 to $2000.00 into this sled even though with all the research that was put into this sled before purchasing showed that they were made to take jumps and all kinds of stuff what a rip off I will Never recommend Polaris to anybody again.
I was going to tell Scott Wine what a poor company he runs but after seeing all these unanswered e-mails it appears he does not care. I have two Polaris products. I have been waiting on a swing arm for my Slingshot for over two months. You guy also knew about the heat problem when you sold it to me in 2015 but I had to pay for the heat shield and installation which was $500.00. I also own a Victory Jackpot and I hear today that you are doing away with the Victory motorcycle line. I was going to buy an Indian motorcycle this spring until I found out that you also own that brand. I can’t afford to buy your products the way you run you business!
I was going to contact Polaris and vent about all my bad experiences with my 2015 RZR 1000 Fox Edition but judging by reading all these here Polaris really doesn’t care much. So all I can say is “DON’T BUY A POLARIS”!!!!! Except mine, when I get it back from the dealer who’s had it now for 7 weeks trying to fix the leaking front shocks and four wheel drive not working. This is the third time it’s been in for work at three different dealers and each time has been a royal pain! I’ve owned it for approximately 18 months and it has more hours in the shop than I’ve put on it riding. TOTALLY DISGUSTED!
Your corporate decision to abandon the Victory brand is a terrible blow to you as a corporation. When I decided to buy a Victory motorcycle in 2010 it was after careful deliberation into the brand, parent corporation and the long-term goals of the company. By choosing to put all your money into the Slingshot and Indian brands you have lost a bunch of customers, ie all of us who have bought and currently own Victorys. Even if your Indian brand does better than the previous resurrections of Indian you will not get back a large percentage of the customers you lost by dumping the Victory brand. I know I will NEVER purchase a Polaris product again, and I’m sure I am not alone in my feelings.
Joe, i 100% agree with you when i first bought my first victory in 2008 i completely loved it and because of Scott wines corporate greed on getting rid of the victory brand. He will be losing a bunch of costumers i know i will never purchase a polaris product ever again.
I have a 2015 Polaris rzr 900 trail vin #4xavae870fb943110 I purchased this brand new and received the warranty recalls and waited 4 months before I could get it in to my nearest dealer. I was informed that either I would get a extension on my warranty which I already have I purchased the 5 year warranty when I bought it. I have purchased numerous Polaris atv’s snowmobiles and trailers over the last 30 years. I don’t want the extended warranty I want the 250.00 voucher for accessories that you were offering for the inconvenience for having to wait 4 months to get warranty work done please mail my voucher that I have coming to me.
Here it is about 2 weeks after the first comment. I called the number supplied on the recall letter and talked one one of the people there. I asked the status of parts as identified in recall letter. I was told there is no known date for the parts to be shipped, no known date. Who is in control of getting these items identified and shipped out? Why would Polaris make the big push they are making to sell more slingshot when they cannot/will not get the parts supplied to take care of the customers they have? I van tell you I have not been very kind about Polaris when talking with others with an interest in my slingshot. It would be nice to get some positive information instead of having to search for it. I would appreciate some one from Polaris contacting me and sharing some information. When I call the dealer they do their best to get me information but they are dependent on what they get from the Polaris group. It is getting extremely frustrating to be kept in the dark.
Polaris was happy to get the cash for my slingshot but their customer support is some what lacking. Information would be nice.
Dale Jackson
Dale, Kevin here from PA, I love my Slingshot and I’m assuming the recall parts you are talking about is the Swingarm. I have had mine at a dealership for 6 months, did get free storage for the winter, however, here it is third week in May and still haven’t received a new swingarm. Mine has squealed, roared, every since it was new and I can’t turn the radio up load enough to hide the sound of the squealing of the swingarm. If and when you do received word of parts, because I keep getting the run around from the dealer who tells me the factory can not get them. We have a ride scheduled for June of this year and at this rate will have to cancel vacation plans or go back to the Harley Davison that I traded in to buy this. Is it any wonder why they quit making Victory motorcycles if the factory service with the motorcycles was the same as getting parts for the slingshot. I keep getting a brochure from Slingshot in the mail for me to triple dare me to test ride a new slingshot but when I went to trade mine in for a new Slingshot, the same dealer could not make a deal with me because it needed a swingarm on it before he could sell it. AND my 2016 depreciated 12,000 toward a trade in for a 2017.
2016 pro rmk axys 2.6 track excessive wear. [400 miles] track has been tensioned per Polaris owners manual. i have owned and bought new 8 snowmobile from Polaris. i have talked to the locale dealer about track issue. he acknowledged the problem and said just about every used machine on his property has the same issue with the track wear. They had no resolution. basically your on your own. resolution could be but not confirmed to add track clips on entire track. waiting on track clips. please respond to this or you will have to respond to an attorneys request for resolution. my attorney is a family member cost me nothing. if i get no resolution i will switch brands. this problem is not an isolated case google [snowest axys track issues and wear] this problem exist on just about every track with low mileage. or you can wait till it becomes a big time safety issue.
Hi My name is Jordan. I am a disabled racer after a crash out in Glamis sand dune’s in 04, I am now racing my RZR 800s with Hand control’s & this will be my second season racing! I was trying to get ahold of someone so I can send my Race Resume in for a inquiry on a sponsorship from you guy’s. Hope to hear back, Thanks
I have been trying to get some information on the recent warranty letter I received concerning the Polaris Slingshot, I have talked to the dealer and they could not answer my questions. In trying to contact corporate the information was at best noninformatale. I was told there was no time line on getting the parts to the dealer and that the recall concerning the swing arm and the file line was not considered a “No drive” recall, that I could ride the slingshot at my own risk. All I would like to know is when the company will get the parts to the dealer so my slingshot can be fixed. So far it has been like pulling teeth to get any information.
How can I email about an issue if the help system doesn’t work. There is an error in the code when entering what you want to email about. Can you please fix this? thank you! (Im trying to email polaris snow)
I have 2015 Polaris pro x 800 that doesn’t start and still under warranty and Polaris said its not covered. costumer service laughs at you when you call. never buying another polaris
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have to write some notice at Mr. Scott, Wine.
Could I get the email address, please?
With best regards

I just bought a 2016 Ranger 900 25 hours belt broke and winch failed. As of now i’m being told not under warranty but they will contact Polaris and see what they will do. After reading all these its sounds like i’m screwed. Sad thing is that i had a Gator for 22 years no problems and had a new one picked out but happen to stop by a Polaris dealer and was talked into the 900. I will follow up and let people know either way.
I guess like the rest of the Polaris stories I got screwed me over. The dealer is discounting what should be taken care of by warranty. It’s a shame they don’t stand behind there product, I guess i should have read this bloc before i bought. I had friends that have bought Kabota and Yamaha Viking and they tried talking me in one of them but i tried to buy American. Last one for me next one will be from someone who will STAND BE HIND THERE PRODUCT
I have recently bought two new Polaris sportsman 570’s and the thumb throttle broke. from what I understand they are designed to break instead of your thumb breaking, not a totally bad idea arguabley. But here is the big issue with that, your company will not sell just the thumb throttle itself, you have to buy the whole throttle assembly which cost over $100. That to me is just outrageous! What kind of customer service is that? This may seem like a small issue to you, but for the ones that can barely afford to buy the ATV itself this can get out of hand to keep replacing. There are other issues that go in hand with this, but lets start somewhere HUH!!!!
I bought 2 2014 570’s brand new. I started having problems with one of them within the first week, high idle and cutting out above a certain rpm and engine light would come on. This would clear up and go away sporadically. Took it to the dealer to get it checked and they couldn’t get the problem to arise. Long story short this has been the mo of this particular machine until this august. Unfortunately the only time the dealer has this documented was when it was taken in for the first service. This august while scouting for hunting season it started out with the same old thing. Then the cluster started blinking in and out and throwing about every code in the book until it finally gave it up. Took it back to dealer where he started a case # and troubleshot the problem to the cluster(maybe)? Since the machine is two years old they denied goodwill coverage. I thought since the problem started while under warranty Polaris would stick behind there product especially since the customer had the dealer verifying all of the above. So I contested and started another case #. I was told that is why they offer extended warranties. I understand all that crap, but this is a problem that rose it’s ugly head while still under warranty. I’m not going to stop here, there is much more that could be added to this. Frankly if this is how Polaris is going to take pride in their product they can have it all to themselves.
I am very disappointed with with polaris warranty we have a new polaris general and have never tried to make a warrenty claim until yesterday when the prop shaft had an issue with being bent . We had a claim submitted form a local dealer and was told the engine puts to much torque to the driveshaft ???can someone explain that to me and was also told that is was our problem . As it stands now there is very little chance I will buy another product from polaris since they do not stand behind there product. (Maby someone from polaris corporate would like to send me an email and explain this to me .)
I too Polaris general bad vibration rear crank seal gone when brought home for first time . wanted to take back to dealer I bought brand new would not look at it for me at all . took to another dealer been there for month cant get parts what a hunk of junk . called Polaris about 10 times ext warranty for 6 months . cant get anywhere with them
Where do I go and bitch about a Polaris Ranger Crew Cab 2013 500 bought brand new and has been well taken care of. Rear end has hole in it that has been pushed out from the inside. All fluids in machine have been changed on regular basis. I’m careful not to run it through mud puddles fast. Used around my house and five acres in Texas. Can’t put in reverse without machine sounding like insides grinding. Sounds like I’m screwed. Any advice?
I would like to file a formal complaint about the lack of being able to repair our new Ranger, the service we have got has been horrible our machine has only a small amount of hours and has had nothing but engine trouble since we got it and customer service is no help at all, we have been working with our dealer in Corry Pa. and he has not been able to get any help through the Polaris company, I am afraid buying this machine was the biggest mistake we made and we are ready to take any action to get some results. Please help us out.
What does “Your comment is awaiting moderation” mean?
I will bet these top dogs at Polaris don’t have their cars sitting and not being able to ride. Take responsibility Polaris and stop jacking us around with this trash flash you put out. Stop trying to get us to pay the dealers for product not needed prior to the trash flash. Stop treating us like we don’t what we are talking about, with our machines running fine prior to this trash flash. Step up Polaris and take responsibility and fix the problem you have heard so much do after putting out this trash flash. I’m feeling a class action coming on and you can bet your ass I will be right there pushing it along. Better yet, how about you give me every dollar I put into this car and you can have it back. Park it on your lot just I have parked on mine
So I buy a brand new 2015 Scrambler 1000 and a 2016 Sportsman 450. I have a total of 42 miles with 6 hrs on the Scrambler. Front CV boot is separated on one of the folds. Polaris says nope not covered. That is a normal wear part. Really after 42 miles? Guess I shouldn’t expect much out of this machine. So the $20,000 I put out there for a product that the company won’t stand behind. It’s only a $205 part, but it’s more that they should stand behind their product a little better than this. Very disappointed to say the least.
I recently purchased a 2016 Polaris General and within the first 25 hrs my reverse chain broke. Had it replaced afte dealing with very rude individuals. I’m sorry to say, it’s broke AGAIN! I shouldn’t have to worry about putting my 20,000$ ATV in reverse. To make matters worse I can’t find a replacement one for it..AND if you ask me, it needs to be recalled! This is a serious problem and me as a consumer shouldnt have to continue to deal with it. I PROMISE you this, I will never purchase another Polaris product again..and certainly will never recommend this product to anyone!
Purchased a 2015 Polaris EV Road one year still owe over 8000.00 for it broke down then they tell me I shouldn’t of washed it because water can enter the motor and calls it to fail now they want $3000 to replace the motor it has 80 hours on it what a rip off it they had told me That I would not be able to wash it I surely would not have bought it
Polaris sling shot is the worst company on earth
Polaris and its dealers do not honor what they advertise at all. Bought the Polaris Slingshot, had troubles, sold the Slingshot within a year. Purchased the extended warranty, which states one can cancel. I did and got a hold of the dealer St Pete Powersports in St. Petersburg, FL. and sent them the copy of the contract stating this when I bought it. Well they ignore me and the BBI. Keep calling customer service and as usual the line is busy. How can Polaris let a dealer sell their product and give such terrible customer service.
How long does one have to wait to hear or be contacted..
I wouldn’t buy this vehicle, didn’t have it a year, sold it for had to many bugs, bought the extended warranty, and went back to the dealer, St. Pete Powersports in St. Petersburg, FL. to get my refund. No help, ignores me, turned them in on the BBI, they ignored them too. Very poor customer service and no help. Polaris contract says the dealer to refund me and sent them a copy of the contract. Been waiting over 4 months now and still not giving up. How can Polaris have a dealership that just don’t care. Unless you are a dealer to get in touch with Polaris there is no help at all. Phones continuously busy, no email address to take one to Polaris customer service to get help.
I am a Sportman 850 XP On Demand 2014 user.
I want to report that in Argentina we are being hurt by Polaris Dealer pricing policies.
Users of the brand are hurt because nobody wants a polaris vehicle due to maintenance costs no one will buy a new/used Polaris vehicle due to maintenance cost and also the dealer in Argentina does not have enough spare parts and those who have are expensive and they do not respond in a timely manner to the requirements
We are aware that polaris vehicles are superior to other brands but Argentina company policy has yielded results than 10 Outlander are sold against each Sportman
Many Polaris users are bound hand and foot to get spare parts and fluids in Argentina cost 150% more than in USA.
I would like to buy parts and fluids directly from USA and not through Argentina dealer who is expensive, bad and poor
my regulator rectifier went out on my 2015 polaris ranger, pulled the rectifier off to find a split in the back of it. im pretty sure its a default on polaris part, it had water in it and i believe thats what caused 2 diodes to go out on it. need answers
I like what polaris has been doing a lot. The slingshot is a brilliant idea. I love seeing a company doing smart things. I would love to see Polaris make a UTV that is also really good on the road and street legal. The Oreion Reeper is an example of what I am getting at. Polaris could use the engine it uses in the slingshot for such a UTV. Maybe offer an auto tranny or five speed. Polaris could get a lot of the Jeep buyer buisness with such a vehicle. Just look at the Reeper and improve on it. I hope Polaris makes such a vehicle soon. Thank you.
I purchased a 2013 Ranger mid size 800. This was in 2013. At 7 months the wire loom going to the injectors failed. My dealer told me they had experienced this problem repeatedly but Polaris would not cover the repair. It cost me $200 + dollars to fix this problem. Wires do not ware out. This was a factory defect. About 2 months later the fuel line going to the throttle body started leaking spraying fuel all over the hot engine. I was lucky there was no fire and fixed this myself. After changing the fluids on this thing twice myself and seeing how badly it was designed I loaded it up and traded it in on a 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 EPS. Everything about this Honda is better. Accessories fit much better and are made better. I agree that if Polaris doesn’t start improving their products and their customer service they will get what they deserve. Polaris continues to approach me about buying a Slingshot. No way!!

Hi Guys,
I have recently brought a Polaris Ranger Crew from a dealer.
I shipped it abroad and for the first hour it broke down. I was told to take it to a dealer in Casablanca.
At first he was confident to sort out this problem it’s been almost 3weeks and I have Received the vehicle back after so many broken promises and not even been told what the problem was.
The vehicle still doesn’t work and the dealer says he will send a mechanic today. He brakes his word again and again agreements have no weight I have all this captured on email and even the parts in the engine that came from a dealer was not Polaris.
There was even a part in the engine made from Carbord cereal box.
I believe crunchy nut cornflakes I have come on holiday with my wife and children our holiday is ruined.
Can you contact the Cheif executive Scott W Wine.
I bought 2 of the Polaris 170 RZR for my kids. I have had nothing but trouble with them. 3 months after purchase we were having issues with the pulley and electrical system. I took them to Triple County Cycle and was told warranty would not cover them. It was going to cost about 800.00 to fix both. I am paying 10,000 for these piece of crap RZR. I would not recommend Polaris to anyone ..
ONE UNHAPPY CONSUMER
I am so disgusted with Polaris!!! We bought a 2015 RXR 900 and cannot even ride it now as have 4 recalls including a “DO NOT RIDE” warning. Here we are in the beginning of the prime riding season here in WA and we cannot ride our $15k+ rig. The Polaris dealer in Sandpoint, Idaho ordered the parts in April and finally told us the 1st week in July that all the parts are in and to bring it in for the repairs, of which we did on 6 July. It is now 28 July and we haven’t heard a word. . This is totally unacceptable!!! This experience weighs heavy on whether I will ever buy another Polaris. I wish I would have read this comment section prior to my purchase as it might have prevented my experience from being a bad one. This is going to ruin their business if this is how they treat their customers. In talking with others in our riding group we are not the only unhappy customers. We need to hear more from the corporate office!!! Not good at all.
I would suggest NOT BUYING THIS VEHICLE!!! I recently purchased a 2016 Slingshot brand new. Within 400 miles the rear end at the angle drive started leaking. I checked several forums online and found this is nothing new. This has been going on since the inception of this vehicle. You would think that if a problem started in the first year model, it’s something the manufacturer would study and implement a solution. Not you guys! You just keep on pushing them out with no idea how to fix the problem. I have owned my Slingshot for 6 weeks. it is now entering it’s third week at the dealership trying to fix this leak. According to them, Polaris is still trying to figure out what solution can be applied to resolve it The first set of parts you sent them, didn’t work. SURPRISE! Now I have been told “probably another 2 weeks”. Great! I may get it back by winter where I can store it until next season. I contacted your customer service. Unfortunately I must have awakened the person who answered the call, because it sounded like she was still half asleep while I explained the problem. Oh, she wasn’t much more awake when she told me there was nothing Polaris could do, it was up to the dealer to fix it. When I am out in the Slingshot, people came up to me all the time interested in my vehicle. My conversation used to be what a fun vehicle it was, now I will make sure everyone I come into contact with, and who approaches me, will know what an absolute piece of junk it really is, and especially how great the manufacturer is about their products. There’s no telling how many people are learning about it right now because I’m posting this on my page as well and will ask friends to re-post for me. Thanks for your concern. When I posted this on another Polaris page I was asked by Polaris to send them a private message so they could help me. They help me by telling me that someone should contact me in a few days, but if not, to give them a call. I already called!!! So I decided to go by the dealership to see what they had found out. I was shown, and have the copy of the parts ordered from Polaris that say the parts, you know the ones that have been defective since they created the Slingshot, are backordered. One part until 8-23, and the other is an undetermined delay! So now my minimum time is up to 2 months in the shop for a brand new vehicle. They’ve had it longer than I have! POLARIS, this is not the way to treat customers, I will continue to spread my story until I am satisfied.
FOLLOW-UP…Just got off of the phone with a representative of Polaris. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He went out of his way to reach a resolution to the issue I have mentioned above, and I finally have a little bit of hope that it will be resolved within days instead of weeks or months. Fingers are crossed, but if his promise goes as planned, I will be very appreciative of the efforts he went to resolve my problem.
Thanks Mark!!! Hope this plan comes together!
My representatives name is Brian! Not Mark! Sorry!
Any updates on what happened. I am also having problems with my brand new polaris
Well Ray. I have to say I just recently purchased my slingshot and haven’t even put 600 miles on it because of issues they are supposed to be fixing. All fhe recalls. This autocyclemail only has a year warranty and I cant even break it in to see what will go wrong with it. We call the dealership and all they can tell us is we are waiting on Polaris. I like you was recommending this vehicle to a couple of friends who were wanting to purchase one. I am going to start letting them know that it’s not worth the hassle. It is a shame that I have a new vehicle that I csnt even put 600 miles on and have owned it for several months now. Polaris is losing customers by the day if they keep treating us like this. I will now not recommend any polaris products to anyone to include the slingshot.
Hi.. same rear end issue.
My dealer has my machine for a month and a week now no hope in site. Parts on back order. Customer service is disgraceful!
Robert Marinelli.
I wish I had seen these post earlier looks like I am the Next Victim under 500 mile new engine on order
2014 rzr s 660 mines 79 hrs rear shock leaks dealer said sorry no warrenty even have extended warrenty too. poor product and service
I am looking to send in a published US patent to be reviewed by Polaris. Is there any specific address as of R&D department or new idea submission email that i can send it to?
Regards,
EPC,LLC
I’ve had my sportsman 850 for about 3 months now. I’ve maintained the atv as instructed by the manufacturer. I’m very displeased with this sportsman. I’ve owned a trailblazer and a sport 400 and i loved them. This sportsman however, has been nothing but a headache. Before i hit 100 miles, the drive belt was trash and the battery had already died. The other day as i was greasing up the suspension, i found that the lower a-arm bushings are wasted. I have about 120 miles on this brand new atv. Anybody else dealing with this crap? Before you criticize, I’ll just say that I’m an experienced rider and I’m not punk kid who tears everything up.
I agree I have been totally disappointed in the newer models maybe they should do more testing before they decide to release them to the public they are cheaply built and expensive as hell to repair and maintain and still it gives you issues!!!
I purchased a 2016 Polaris rzr4 1000xp last fall, everything has been running great up until the recall!! I brought it to Village Motorsports in Holland Michigan and he put it on the computer for me and said that all the codes lead back to the throttle position sensor. The chk engine light will come on while riding and it will cut the motor down to around 10mph and if I come to a complete stop it will stall on me. If the chk eng light is still on after I turn the key off and try to restart it, it will fire and immediately shut off again. Maybe coincidence but if I shift it to neutral and roll it forward or backward and try to restart more times than not the light will go out and it will run for a short time before doing it again. Any feedback would be appreciated from a mechanic for some troubleshooting help or if it is part of the recall that I’m having issues.

Polaris will someday be out of business because of poor customer care
Poor Design
Poor Quality
Poor service Resolve
Lack of customer time
Lack of knowledge to resolve issues / rely on dealer
Customer representatives are rude inaccurate protect polaris and dont care about there customers
Not one machine designed / assembled is free of defects / issues
Polaris use’s there customers and dealerships to resolve there issues / they lack the knowledge
If I knew how to start a class action law suit I would get going on it regarding Polaris’ lack of parts to fix recalls. I’m sitting on a 2015 rzr 900 s with less than 80 miles on it, making payments but can’t ride due to recall. I will never buy another Polaris product. Every dealership I call says they are ready to do recall work but can’t get parts from Polaris. Absolutely pathetic. If you tried to run a business that way yiu would be shut down. Let’s get a class action law suit going against Polaris!!!
I am with you. If there is a way to start one for lack of product satisfaction. Pleaeeeeeese contact me. This is ridiculous. They want their money and I want what I paid for. I want to be able to drive my vehicle. No pay for it to sit in my garage. Especially when they say if I drive it. It’s on me.
Unhappy! I purchased a 2016 Sportsman 850 Highlifter. It has 19.4 hrs on it and has been in the Polaris of Gainesville Florida shop for half of its life. This is a $11000 machine and is unacceptable. It seems that warranty work is not a high priority nor is it valued. There are many known mechanical problems that you guys are not willing to address. This parts and warranty work turnaround is horrible, but seems to be the norm for Polaris. When an unhappy customer complains about the 1-3 months it takes to do a 5hr service, we get told there’s nothing we can do. No repercussions we can take. This is not a customer 1st approach. This is a “we only want your money” approach. I’ve purchased several Polaris machines, but I will not be purchasing another one in the future. Polaris, you guys are failing the customers that keep you in business. Please consider compensating for or correcting these huge issues within the company and dealerships.
To whom it may concern,
I purchased a 2015 mid size 570 crew brand new not being told of the capabilities or lack of , My question is why would you build a off road vehicle with no way of protecting the electronics under the back seat ? I.E no mud guards/mud flaps for the front or rear to protect the vital components and nothing in the works for aftermarket ? This is my first Polaris and will be my last, I have been very disappointed in this very capable machine you can do anything in except mud and water .Doesn’t that defeat the purpose ?
I am so disgusted with Polaris!!! We bought a 2015 RXR 900 and cannot even ride it now as have 4 recalls including a “DO NOT RIDE” warning. One of the recalls is a “RE” recall. How ridiculous is that??? Here we are in the beginning of the prime riding season here in AZ and we cannot ride out $20k rig. We are #156 in line for recall fix. Our dealer, Star Island, Prescott Valley, AZ has told us they are having problems getting the parts needed. That is totally unacceptable!!! They need to offer a buy back so we can buy something that we can benefit from!!! This is going to ruin their business if this is how they treat their customers. Two of our friends are in the same situation! We need to hear more from the corporate office!!! Not good at all.
To CEO Scott Wine
I just recently purchased a 2016 Indian Chief Vinatge totaling $25,000.00. I received a purchase order on April 30th, 2016 to go and secure a loan to purchase the motorcycle. I was receiving a $1,500.00 rebate at the time for a trade-in and was told I was not entitled to the $1,000.00 Law enforcement rebate. On Monday May 2nd Polaris comes out with a new promotion in which I would of been entitled to along with the $1,500.00 trade-in rebate and now the $1,000.00 accessories incentive because I didn’t get approved until May 4th which was the actual date I purchase the motorcycle . The dealership put the purchase date for April 30th because they wanted to get it in before the end of the month and you know that what they do. I contacted Polaris and was told to have the dealers put in a request for the accessories incentive thru “My Polaris case” ( I think that is what it’s called) and was told that Polaris was not able to give me the accessories incentive because the dealer had put that I actually purchased and registered the motorcycle on April 30th which is not true because I have the temporary registration dated May 10. 2016 and actually purchased and paid for the motorcycle on May 4th, 2016. Being that Polaris is the one that is offering the incentive, the dealer cannot assist me in this matter. I pray you would give this your personal attention because it is important that when a customer leaves with you product that he is fully satisfied and that the experience doesn’t get tarnish by something that can be resolved so easily always positively. Await your response.
Did you ever get a response?
This should have been an EZ fix.
I purchased a 2016 Polaris Slingshot around August 5, 2015.
I retired from the military last year and took a job in Japan, Mistakenly, I decided to take the Slingshot with me. I initially purchased the ESC and found out the Polaris Dealer here in Japan will not honor that service (ok… not a problem). Less than 1 month of having the vehicle, I filled out the R2984(1)-0111 form requesting to cancel the ESC and get a refund of the remaining amount.
I started this process on October 2015. Since then, I haven’t gotten any conformation that the ESC was cancelled and sure haven’t received a refund (PROBLEM). I followed proper protocol by submitted everything via my dealer at Destination Powersports in Punta Gorda Florida.
Moreover, I have submitted no less than 10 emails and the “ignoring me” is still going on. I am truly unsatisfied with POLARIS Co. for their bad customer service, not only for ESC situation, but for the Piss-Poor customer service I received from the HQ staff who make every attempt to rush you off the phone while being uncooperative as humanly possible. This is BAD Business people. (BIGGER PROBLEM) Maybe I shouldn’t mind a shorter conversation since I’m paying for the call at an overseas rate, but that’s not the point.
TO: HQ personnel in charge…. I have taken several courses in Lean SIX Sigma, Strategic Planning, Project Management and Personnel Management among many others; I suggest you make a bigger effort on how to make your customers feel important or at least; allow them to feel they made a good purchase from a manufacture that backs up their products. If you are having difficulties in accomplishing this, please contact me and I will be more than happy to help you filter your complaints of unsatisfied customers like me.
There: (I’ve given a problem and a solution)
I’m trying to contact Scott Wine! I’m not really satisfied with the way you have to contact someone! To make a long story short, my sons grandfather bought him a brand new four wheeler March of 2015! We have had nothing but problems with this $3000.00 four wheeler! We have spoken with the our local Polaris were it was purchased, we have spoken to the owner. This is the three or fourth time this four wheeler has been in the shop! The last time we took it, it stayed in the shop for 4 months! It is now in the shop and has been the past 4 weeks! When is enough, ENOUGH! I’m considering getting a lawyer! I would never ever purchase another product from Polaris! What kind of product are you promoting when you can even guarantee your products!
Road & Track Brookhaven MS has lost my original key to my motorcycle. 1st they put the wrong size tire even after showing them the tires on the bike and taking puctures of the sizes, then this. Seriously people beware who you doing business with. Having a complaint made to give to BBB. They say they never had it but how would they unlock the front wheel without it? The bike is very cold natured but after we found the duplicate key it crank right up without pulling the chock out. The never happens. These pepole refuse to own up to putting wrong size tire but made it right only to lose my original key (that they claim they never had). It was on the bike with the same yellow key tag from before. But refuse make it right. They lost my key, they show own up to it instead calling me a liar and literally smoking in my face. I need a new ignition and key and they should be responsible. As far the tires, they was suppose to give my old tires bavk but never could find them and the front tire you couldnt slide a dime between the fender and tire and they thought it was fine. That is dangerous. But they wouldn’t admit it. I want a real person to talk to about the disrespect Road and Track in Brookhaven MS gave me.
Got a 2015 Polaris rzr4 900 with clutch issues and dealer just put new clutches on it 700 hundred mile ago now one of the weight came of and housing is broke, called customer service and basically got told I only know the reason that it broke and they told me it from driving thru water Dealership agrees it’s not water issues but nothing else they could do. This is the 5th time it’s been in for clutch issues. So if Polaris won’t do anything with machine mine and a the whole group of riders are going start switching would like to here back from some one from Polaris since customer service guy said he was the highest person I could talk to
I have a 2013 570 le that I purchaced new . I am having problem with heat melting rear bed. I have written dealer and polaris industries and no response on what I should do with problem that could cause a fire. Very disappointed with response ..
Just purchased a new Ranger etx in Feburary, two weeks after putting 3.4 hrs on the Polaris, it started leaking oil on my garage floor. As long as you don’t have any mechanical issues may be a good unit but the service depts at our local dealerships tell me to take it back where you purchased which is 6 hrs away. Very very poor service after the sale. Going to trade in for a new Honda.
I bought 2 2015 sortsman 570s my wife got an engine light first time out and it would not run finally able to limp back to trailer put in shop said throttle problem they opened it up said sensor had dirt and water in it and rust on cable greased and said was ok took bike out 2nd time on it lengine light came on after about 30 minutes put back in shop 5 weeks later they changed entire throttle assembly hope it is fixed warranty about to run out 3 hours on bike. Now the horror story I had my 570 was using to ride around property when I started it and hit the throttle it stuck and lurched into a telephone pole throwing on my backside breaking my tailbone and the lower a arm on my bike called polaris was told no way it could happen because of rev inhibitor they would not help so when we took my wife’s bike out the second time my throttle stuck again running me over a burn rolling on its side and throwing me on my right side landing on my ribs either separating or fracturing at least one so I put it in the shop on Feb 3 2016 they found water dirt and rust inside throttle assembly they said because injury was incured the engineers and legal and whoever else had to look it over to decide if it was covered I have called at least 7 or 8 times get the same tech when he’s available most times never calls back and says engineers still looking at it 7000 dollars for a bike that is still in shop with broken plastics and throttle problem and it’s April 20 2016 my warranty runs out April 26 cannot get any answers get no calls for updates and no way to talk to anybody higher up guess I’ll have to sue to get an answer
Well my 2015 Slingshot is sitting at Polaris of Gainesville another 8 days this month for rear bearing noise. It sat there February, just over one month ago, for 8 days, for the same rear bearing noise. Now we have to wait for Locktite, to arrive. Its been on order for days but I just get to sit and wait. I’m retired, and don’t know how much time I have left. I would love to go to the Slingshots in the Smokies Rally, but don’t know if the dealer will release me as a hostage by then. Please send some qualified technicians to this dealership, with some parts and locktite so I can enjoy my remaining days on this earth.
Thanks
I bought a 2015 Polaris 900 XP EPS in April of 15 and we had a great time with it until February of 2016 when things got really stupid. The machine, after the 100 hour maintenance, just didn’t run correct. Took it to my dealer to find out the problem. Well, one problems was they sold me the wrong plugs so they ran a diagnostic on it just in case. Found there was dirt in the engine and it needed new heads and cylinders. Come to find out the air filter box was put on the machine at the factory wrong allowing crap to get into the engine. The repair was 2800 bucks. I contacted Polaris to see if they would or could help out since they are the ones who messed this up. They gave me a case number and then proceeded to run me around for about two weeks and then they decided they didn’t have to do anything and stuck me with the whole bill. So much for “customer care”. When I got the machine back I traded it in for a HONDA Pioneer. I ride with two ATV groups and about 120 riders. All know the story and will not be buying a Polaris product in the future. They to are upset with the way Polaris just waved off a customer not thinking that the customer is what makes their company. Rest assured in this area Polaris won’t be doing much business. How sad it is that they don’t care about the people who pay to have fun and then get a product that is a piece of crap and a company that doesn’t have the courage to say they made a mistake and would fix it. Instead, they screw them.
thank you bill, i was about two days away from buying a 1000 rz think now i will go for the honda,, gene
I purchased a 2016 rzr 900 4 eps it was damaged on the left rear door went run-through dealer to get a new decal to install on a new door but the showed me a catalog with about 5 different options of decals in which none matched my rzr since this is a brand new machine I would like to have it repaired properly if anyone at Polaris could give me some info it would be greatly appreciated have left several emails with no response
Good day. I am an active duty Soldier in the Hnited States Army. I have been serving this great nation for over 21 years now and I seem to have more fun riding ATVs then anything else. I was curious what the Polaris military discount is for the new 2016 450 Sportsman? I notice there is very little information pertaining to military on your website or the websites of those that selling your products. I currently ride a Honda ATV and saw the Sportsman video versus the Rancher 4×4. I was impressed with Sportsman. Please let me know what discounts you have available for us military service members if any, th is and I look forward to possibly purchasing the Sportsman 450 in the coming months.
6 months ago I financed the 2015 rzr 1000 4 seater……have made over 40 trips to the dealer for warranty work…..3 months total time at the dealer…..I make the monthly payments for it to sit at the dealer for repair…..I have had approx. 20 plus items go bad with my machine…..shocks, motor(top and bottom), cv boots, front end, clutch, and the list goes on and on……Polaris is willing to give me $1000 credit…..just in fuel alone, I have spent over $1500 to go back and forth to the dealer with this death trap of a machine…..no gas in the front right shock, does make it a death trap when turning left at even 25 mph…..Polaris has no customer service of any value so far….worst purchase ever made…..I don’t make millions like Scott Wine, so $29,000 to me hurts when my family cant enjoy the purchase…..
I totally agree Polaris service is horrible, those that are looking into buying a side by side choose another brand. Worst purchase I ever made in my life. I am going to trade in for a Honda.
Ive bought a rzr xp900 2013 brand new and bought an extended warranty for 4 years with alliance and ive paid 1800$ for it when ive send my rzr for a repairs there was no waranty on it the dealership gVe me an inerhouse waranty ive call polaris they did nothing for me now i have a waranty but i have to drive 2 hours to bring my bike to get it fix when there a dealer ship at 30 minute from my place for a big compagnie like polaris i thought they would help me to have alliance waranty nop just for that i sure gona go with can am when i am a polaris guy all the way THANK YOU POLARIS
Polaris headquarters your company sent me a brochure to test drive the ace 570 model ATV on the brochure there was a contest if you test drive this vehicle you would be given a special code to enter a contest for a chance to win a free one on the brochure it gave the dealership to go to in Hollywood Florida I drove down to the company and requested a test drive and to enter the contest I was advised by the manager that they did not have the vehicle also they had no area to test drive. I asked him why you guys sent out the pamphlet and advertise to come down to this location to test drive something you don’t even have or have no facility to do it even if you did have the vehicle he could not answer the question. I requested the code to enter the contest since I fulfilled the brochures obligation to come down and advised him that it was not my fault that the company falsely advertised the event. He stated that he would see what he could do and call me back. I never received a call back at which time I contacted your customer service department. I spoke on four different occasions 24 different customer services personnel starting with Amy Charles Jeremy and Clayton all stated that they would get back with me with a code number which they never did. I called back one last time To Mr Clayton he was not in I left a message that I will be filing a complaint with the state of Florida for false advertisement which falls under the State statue 817. 40 through State statue 817. 44
I still have not heard back from them reference the code to enter the contest it appears that your company is not going to honor their advertisement and just lets people hang on until the end of the contest I sent my complaint to the state of Florida if this is the way the company handles customer complaints I am glad I did not purchase one
I purchased a 2015 Polaris XP 1000 ATV last year I am handicapped and rely on the ATV to get into the woods to hunt I received a recall notice on my wheeler it’s been in the shop for over a month I’ve made several attempts to call Polaris customer service with no definitive answers they tell me they’re going to call back they don’t they tell me they’re going to pull an exhaust system off the assembly line to expedite the problem but they don’t I am basically speechless about the situation I have been dealt I am paying for a brand-new ATV and I’m not able to use it for the last month this just doesn’t seem right please help as The hunting season has just started and I don’t have the wheeler that I purchased to get me in the woods
We have a 2015 Polaris 570 Ranger full size, we purchased it in April this year. When we purchased it we had a tilt windshield installed on it, today,Sept 25th, I purchased a rear glass panel hopping to keep out the dirt, but to my dismay more dirt comes in that with it out. I just spent $350.00 for what. Love the machine, not happy with this deal. Even with the windshield vented. You still get dirt. I though that was the idea behind the rear glass. Do you have any tips for me? Just send them in care of dirt ball. Duane McFarland
What a joke with offers at camp brimstone - i got called for giveaway &go figure nobody gets cell service on the trails !!!! Got their text next day! Go figure. Just saying!
I purchase a 2015 Polaris Slingshot and at 2,000 miles the rear wheel bearing went out and all 4 ball joints on the front. My throttle is sticking so it’s going back into the shop this week. I had to cancel my slingshot trip to California which was a bummer. I love the slingshot but every time I turn around there is a major mechanical problem. I won’t lie to people when they ask me if I’ve had any problems. I tell them to wait til next year to buy one so Polaris can work out all the bugs.
I am going to tell people about this page and let them know that polaris refuses customer satisfaction. You at least put 2k miles on yours. I can’t even break 600 and have had it for several months. We bought it and within 3 to 4 weeks. We had to park it due to recall. Since we can’t contact anyone on the polaris page. What is the point. The next person to ask me about the SS will be told not to waste their money on it.
To Scott Wine,
I purchased a brand new 900 crew Polaris within a month it needed warranty work. We loaded it up and took it to Jay Hatfields in Pittsburg Kansas where I purchased it. It has taken them a month and they are saying its going to be another month before it is fixed. Jay Hatfields employees are giving me the run around. I purchased a Polaris because my parents bought a brand new one in 2009, my grandfather bought one in 2009, my uncle bought one in 2011, which is the reason I purchased a new Polaris. If I had a dealer selling my products, like Jay Hatfield, I would think you would like your customers happy. I request a return contact from corporate. Please give this your full attention.
Thanks

Polaris in Brits,
Absolutely no service from the workshop!!! I ordered parts from Jaco several times and only got promises and still no parts!!!
yesterday I completed the survey on the slingshot. At first I was enthused about the possible option list. I then realized I would be paying extra for items that should have been included from the beginning. If you go this route, the price will exceed its value. Need I remind you that a Mazda Miata will give all the Slingshot features plus air condition, six speed trans, windshield wipers, heater, & about a third the insurance cost. You have a unique product. Don’t overprice the unit & send people elsewhere
I bought a 2013 Victory Vegas 8 Ball 2 months ago. Before purchasing the bike I made contact with a local dealer in South Africa to request a Trade & Retail on the bike as it was standing at a non Victory dealership to make sure the price was market related. I was given R125 500 as a trade and R152 500 AS RETAIL. I got the bike for R128 000 with full service history. They told me it was a BARGAIN!!.
Getting of a super bike I realized after a month that I was not the cruiser tipe.
Wanting to trade the bike in I tried several motorcycle shops…………the were given a trade/cover of R 70 000 - R80 000. I have had a few friends over the past two months inquire as to the retail value for” Insurance purposes” and they are all given a figure of around R150 000!!!! These local dealers are obviously SHARKS!! I am know fed up after getting nowhere with the local guys.
I will be taking this further legally and will also make sure that the whole of South Africa knows not to support the Victory Brand locally!!
Although I was very happy with the quality of the product itself they are obviously THIEF’S!!
I have a 2011 Polaris ranger 800 Xp and have had trouble with sit from day 1! It has been in the shop several times for wiring harness problems! I feel like i should not be having this much trouble on a machine that cost so much! I have read several reviews and see where it’s not just me that’s having these problems I would really like some answers on it! I know I have had this issue 3-4 times before and now having the same issue and expect yall to stand behind your product and me not have to keep it in shop all the time
I ordered a 2015 crew ranger on May 5 from J&B Cycle in Timmins Ontario.6 weeks later I am still waiting for it. Can you tell me how much longer because the dealer does not know. Summer will be over and my holidays are coming in a week so it would be nice to have it . Thank you and I wait for an answer.
“attention” SCOTT WINE
I purchased a slingshot 2 week ago has only 91 miles on it and all the warning lights came on so I took it to a dealer that let it sit there for 4 days until I threatened to call manufacture and tell them that they made discriminatory remarks to me so I called manufacture and they promised to help but they never got back to the dealer after they diagnosed my slingshot. and when they finally do send these parts it will take over another week to get parts and whenever the dealer can fix it,at this point I am getting an attorney and I am going to sue Polaris for discrimination and not fixing this slingshot that has many problems.
July 14 my Slingshot doesn’t have 300 miles and its still in the shop, I purchased this slingshot on June 2 2015 and now is July 15 and only drove it a few times ant all the warning lights still come on.
Kaylene in manufacture is not returning my phone calls.
I am thinking of going to Minnesota and hold signs in front of headquarter saying that Polaris is JUNK to wake up scott wine.
Polaris has exceeded 30 days to fix this problem so now the lemon law will take affect, Polaris doesn’t realize that I am a customer with a legitimate problem that they don’t care about so I will do something soon.
Several of the people I ride with including myself are having problems with the voltage regulator and can not get one. They say that they are on back order. If they are that big of a problem Polaris shoulddo something about it. Thank you
in 2008 I bought myself my first brand-new snowmobile, every snowmobile before that was a used Polaris and they were always decent machines. My 2009 Polaris Dragon switchback 800 has had nothing but engine problems my motor has blown up four times and cost me thousands of dollars in repairs. I’ve missed going up north 2 years in a row because I no longer trust my snowmobile. I called my dealerships of choice kens sports in kaukauna Wisconsin and told them I’m looking for a new snowmobile I’d like to trade in my 2009 Polaris 800, they told me “we can’t take your 2009 Polaris dragon because of all the engine problems we don’t want our name on that”. I said will you at least give me 2000 dollars for the sled?? They told me NO. so now I’m stuck with this Dragon snowmobile that I can’t get rid of and I’ll feel guilty selling it to any of my friends because of the high rate of failure with these engines. What I want to know is what am I supposed to do with my Polaris snowmobile when I can’t even trade it in at a Polaris dealership?? I’m considering purchasing an arctic cat because of all the problems I’ve had with this 2009 Dragon my wife won’t let me spend another penny on this Dragon and she refuses to let me buy another Polaris.
Please respond

are there any plans to offer the slingshot in a more conventional BODY STYLE ? ACE car co. of seattle WA or MORGAN of U.K style . i would buy one except for the radical body design . main reason for not buying the ACE OR MORGAN is high price and lack of service dealers. just cannot accept the futuristic body design.

I purchased a 2014 Ranger last July. I was very pleased with the product until the starter went out on it after only 91 hours. However I was pleased that Polaris replaced the 400.00 starter free of charge. But was very disappointed at the fact that the dealer (Greeneville Powersports) I purchased it from charged me over two hundred dollars to install the starter. And on top of that it took them 19 days to repair it. Disappointed in TN.
I have been trying to buy an Indian Jacket. Dealer and on line are out of my size, ( 2 different styles ) # 2863300,#2863710. I understand this is not a BIG sale item, BUT , if I buy a motorcycle is this kind of service I’m going get. I want to try on a jacket,in my size, before buying. I noticed SEVERAL sizes are out of stock, on line. It seems to me you should be ordering more of these sizes , IF , you want to sell them. This has been going on for SEVERAL MONTHS ????????? I’ll bet Harley doesn’t have this problem. !!!!!!!!
I briefly turned some wrenches on your “new” side by sides and four wheelers in Lancaster SC. I was surprised the drive belts lasted a month on the big wheeled 4 wheelers and the destine to fail CV joints on the side by sides and weld issues on machines that where earmarked to be destroyed that where for sale more than just a little puzzling ?
Overall my opinion on your product is so low because there seems to be no standard on your machinery. I was thinking you must get your engineers from (insert bad words here) and let them have their way on whatever model they design then let the public do the testing ?
Built to sell parts with no standard to the basic design = American made POS, add a gouging dealer and not putting a fuel filter on a machine destine to be covered in mud is truly American made
Hello,
I have a 2014 Polaris razor 1000, 4 seater… The dealer tells me the voltage regulator is out- this is a warranty issue and it is very inconvenient because you do not have parts in stock for me and do not have an expected date as to when my part will be in stock. I use this vehicle daily for lots of different uses. I went with Polaris because I thought I would have a lot less chance of having these issues but clearly I was wrong. I am wondering how you can get this issue resolved in a timely manor. This is a $24,000 machine and I am not able to use it. I am one very very unsatisfied customer! Please email me or get in contact with me asap!
i am from ohio i have a 2013 polaris 800 rzr s that only has 700 and some change miles on it well long story short the poppit valve that lets the oil travel up the top of the motor stuck closed and burnt the motor up and was wondering if there have been any reported problems with particular valve.because for 700+ miles on a 14000 dollar machine is not alot for it to be going bad could someone reply back with a comment thank you .
Bought a new Polaris 570. No complaints. I received a survey card and tried to reply. The survey is very, very long and ask a lot of redundant questions. Having to use drop down boxes to answer makes it much worse. About half way thru the site dropped out. I made a valiant effort but wasn’t about to start over. I think you should revisit this survey.
Hello
I´m a proud owner of a Victory Motorcycle, Cross Country Tour, i like the bike. But now i have some problems ( breaking System ABS). I’m located in central Mexico and to my surprise there is no dealer which want to take care of my motorcycle. So i was thinking to contact the service department of Victory and i tell you this was a kind of experience. They told me there is no service for my bike in Mexico and i must drive the bike more than 1000 miles to the US to get it fixed.I can not understand that, Victory was selling bikes in Mexico and now they are not able to provide any service ? If there is no service what does Victory is doing for their clients ? So the next step for my was trying to get a email adress where i can have a official complain, the answer from the service center was : we DO NOT HAVE A EMAIL ADDRESS where you can send a complain, for me this is not understandable and this is a behavior to push clients away, i hope through this post somebody from you company give me a answer

That resulted in a failure of the sled. i only put 42 miles on it and now its in the dealership for repairs. i waited a long time to be able to buy this awesome machine and love it but now it will be 2 weeks before i will even see it. I canceled my trip this weekend. and dont know if i can reschedule one befor snow is gone here in mi.

I’m a disabled Veteran, and I’m contacting you to see If you would consider a donation to me for the new Polaris Slingshot to help support the riders of Veterans Organizations and promote more sales for the new Polaris Slingshot when it becomes available. This Slingshot would be a nice promotion for are area in Clarkston, WA, for this vehicle and the veterans organizations. Please consider this request with some thought time?????????????

I recommend not buying one at the rate of problems they are giving those of us who have paid alot of money for one.
Hello I live in Massachusetts and on Thanksgiving day my husband and I were watching television and saw a commercial for a 40″television for sale for $129.00 for sale and on that add said that target opens at 6pm on thanksgiving night. So my husband and I drove to a Target store only to find a sign on the door saying that they do not open till 1am on Friday. If there is going to be an add on television like that it should say excluded Massachusetts if this does not apply to us so that people do not have to waste there time even going there at that time and we were not the only ones that had whent there at that time. We were very upset about it. It is false advertisement. Thank you.
What does Target and TV,s have to do with the Polaris Company ?? You should take this E-mail and Delete It !!
