From Wells Fargo Financial stealing my escrow up to now all I got is lip service and no resolution, then Tax problem came along I paid the taxes to save my home now WELLS FARGO stated they paid it and I owe them!!! then came Hurricane IRMA where they gave us the 90 days then after the 90 days they will take what you owe and put it in the back of the loan… another BS to do that you have to go through a loan modification then if you dare to complain they assign you to a counselor who acts like he/she gives a hoot but screw you over even more!!! We are nothing to Wells Fargo…. We are a Joke to them and if you guys happened to call Wells Fargo there’s 4 major people that was assigned to my case you better run their loyalty is to their welfare check not the customer and now I am facing foreclosure while Wells Fargo has first of all My MONEY 2nd MY ESCROW and yet they have money to spend on lawyers to screw us even more while we are losing our home they are collecting and living large!!! I guess there are many internal problems with “YOUR” bank. Get into the 21st Century, every business and company in the business world….. everyone except yours and your “Bone Head” Legal Team accepts Court Orders via e-mail (Electronically). Why am I “Ticked OFF” because the bank does not have to according to them accept “E-mailed” Court Orders. They have to be hand delivered to a branch office, then electronically transmitted to their “Legal Team”???? It must be nice to not have to co-exist with the rest of the 21st century business world! But if you purchased a home, and they conduct the closing how does the paperwork get to the closing agent?????? Let me guess….ELECTRONICALLY! You can not have it both ways folks!

Wells Fargo has disappointed me in the worst way I deposited a check Friday and didn’t get my money. My lights were turned off and I work from home so couldn’t work. If you have a mortgage with Wells Fargo, I strongly suggest you or someone you know who can do the math check on the payments you have made, fees you have paid to Wells Fargo in connection with your mortgage. I am discovering that payments made have disappeared. A recent statement I received from Wells Fargo was missing monies paid in the over $15,000 range. As I begin to go over back statements I am finding “unapplied” amounts which have simply disappeared from my statement and some amounts I was required to pay over the amount due have never made it to my statement. This is quite serious and makes an amazing statement about Wells Fargo and something going on with their bank which is off. As I read the statements here I am appalled at the dishonesty and theft and mistreatment of customers happening at Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo Bank Representative:
My parents have been Wells Fargo Bank customers for some years. They are retired on a fixed income and live a humble, honest Christian life. My father served in the military proudly and because of his service related injuries, after many unsuccessful medical procedures, recently he lost right eye.
My mother like my dad is also in her 70s. She suffers from acute Arthritis and Lupus. Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks its own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus affects many different the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs. In spite of her disease, she has reached out to Wells Fargo Bank in writing and by phone — in pain, calling, writing, waiting — no less than a dozen times within the last 3 weeks to no avail.
She told me that sometimes she was on hold for several minutes and then strangely disconnected. She has her phone log to prove this. And then no one called her back or messaged her through online banking system to offer help after those phone calls were lost. When she did speak to a customer care representative, my mother left very specific messages and also wrote email after email in specific detail sent through the Wells Fargo online message center begging for the fraud or claims to department to contact her with an update and opportunity to hear her side.
In a nutshell, they paid this credit repair company, First Coast Financial over $2000 to deliver credit repair and enhancement services as part of a premium package. Months later this company still had not performed the services as agreed. Although they offered a full refund if services were not rendered as agreed, First Coast Financial gave no refund to my mom and dad. I suggested to my parents that they contact their bank directly. Gladyes J. Smalls made a fraud refund request by phone on April 23.
To be clear, they were actually charged a total of $2800. Please note that $2000 was paid through my parent’s bank account at Wells Fargo. The transactions were $1000 each. Paid out to Val Singles of First Coast Financial and paid using Zelle payment systems through Wells Fargo Bank. This money represented the lion’ share of the upfront fees paid to this credit repair company. The other monies totaled $800 and were paid to them through another bank.
Wells Fargo Bank was informed by phone and in writing 3 weeks ago that this credit repair services failed to deliver services as agreed and failed to provide a full refund. Wells Fargo Bank was also informed that receiving upfront payments for a credit repair services is against the law. This is a violation of the Credit Repair Organizations Act, which forbids advance payment for such services: “No credit repair organization may charge or receive any money or other valuable consideration for the performance of any service which the credit repair organization has agreed to perform for any consumer before such service is fully performed.”
The Credit Repair Organizations Act exists because many consumers have been the victims of a credit repair scams or credit repair fraud. Let me also add that Wells Fargo Bank personnel were made aware of other victims who were also ripped off by this same credit repair company and had taken to the internet to describe very similar scam situations that seem to mirror what my parents had experienced. Finally, Wells Fargo representatives were told more than once that the Bank of America account used by Val Singles, one of the owners of First Coast Financial to receive the funds fraudulently was still open and active.
First Coast Financial violated federal law by charging up-front fees. Whether they said it was “account set up” fees, “credit analysis” fees, “credit sweep, removal or boost.” It does not matter what they are called – it is illegal. Credit Repair Organizations Act – Public Law 90-321, 82 Stat. 164 “404” Prohibited practices. b) Payment in Advance –“No credit repair organization may charge or receive any money or other valuable consideration for the performance of any service which the credit repair organization has agreed to perform for any consumer before such service is fully performed.” You can find the entire text at http://www.ftc.gov/os/statues/croa/croa.shtm.
I am writing you today on my parent’s behalf. They want, need and deserve to get their money back. Wells Fargo Bank Claims / Fraud department really needs to provide a refund immediately based the law broken by this company. In addition, my folks want the original messages sent out to half a dozen bank representatives through the Wells Fargo online message centers over these 3 weeks since April 23.
Lastly, they want you or someone who gives a darn to reach out to the claims and fraud department and have them call my parents directly ( 202-870-0241) AND ALSO communicate with them through USPS as well as through the personal email that is file with the bank ( [email protected]) or the Wells Fargo online message about ANY DETAILS on their claim.
As of today, May 14, 2018, NO ONE from these departments working on their claim has ever communicated with my parents about this situation or even attempted to hear their side of the story. They have not to date notated this information and no question; it’s a vital part of the investigation. To no avail, numerous times in writing my parents offered to provide information about the transaction and the criminals who took their money, Val and Mike Singles. No follow up from these departments and this is a disgrace.
Please, please, please — it’s time for responsible, caring Wells Fargo Bank personnel to get involved and directly intervene on my parent’s behalf. Someone please contact Chappelle Smalls or Gladyes J. Smalls on Monday, May 14, 2018 by phone at (202) 870-0241 or by email at [email protected] to resolve their issue. Both this phone number and email address are listed on file with Wells Fargo.
If we don’t hear from Wells Fargo Bank’s claims or fraud department by Monday, May 14 in the afternoon, we will have no choice but to escalate this matter to include various senior advocacy, consumer protection, bank watchdogs, the local district attorney helping seniors, legal action groups and as well as the media. This is not the way you treat long term customers in good standing, who are seniors and veterans.

I am laughing at the new ad campaign with this awful company trying to tell us how they support women. Here is how they REALLY treat women. This business woman who had a loan with them and when interest rates dropped in mid 2000’s, I walked into my local branch with perfect credit and never a late payment to just REFI the loan…NO EXTRA MONEY. They asked for everything but my first born and about 10 years of tax returns. Only to turn me down and return those 10 years of returns all torn apart and out of order.
I took ALL my business to my local credit union. It has been one of my best decisions.

As a Wells Fargo customer I signed up with Wells Fargo Advisors, for my stock market investing and
IRA accounts. For the past three months, starting in November, 2017 I have had substantial difficulty in
using the online service for all my WF accounts. This has been costly to me, particularly with the stock
trades I have been unable to make in a timely manner, or at all. Over 70% of the time the WF web site
is inoperable during early morning or other busy time periods of the day when the investment markets
are experiencing high use. Now, the WF web site is not working during the normally low use periods and
I am losing money because I can not access my brokerage accounts at Wells Fargo. Up until October of
last year I was very satisfied with the online service, but this probably was because of low activity on my
part. In short, unless the online experience changes in the very near future I will be moving away from
Wells Fargo.
I felt so frustrated with Wells Fargo because I transferred $1,000 to a recipient of Bank of America through Zelle, but the recipient never received it. We came to talk to the banker of Wells Fargo several times in Texas, and they said they couldn’t do anything. Then, they said it was not their fault, and they closed the case. So, I lost $1,000 dollars and they just walked away because they said it was not their fault. I told them it was unprofessional that you lost money of the customer, and then you said you couldn’t do anything else. I called the customer service, then they transferred me to the claim department, and the supervisor of the claim department said they couldn’t help me out. It was an hour on the phone, and they kept telling me that they couldn’t do anything. I was too frustrated. I asked for the point of contact of the higher level, and she (the supervisor) refused to give it to me. I suggested making the conference call with Zelle and she said that was my responsibility. Again, it was very unprofessional.
Wells Fargo was really bad at resolving the issue, and kept pushing me to the customer service, where they couldn’t resolve my issue, so there is no point that I was sent back and forth.
Wells Fargo, I need your solution. That is very unprofessional and unreliable and it was not the message that you want to send to your customer. I need my money back. Do something!!!!

I am a Veterinarian for 28 years. 5 years ago, I purchased a Veterinary Practice with the help of Wells Fargo. I am forever grateful for that; however, I recently requested addition funding from Wells Fargo to pay off remaining balance owed to the previous Veterinary Practice owner but was denied - even though I have never missed a payment and am MUCH better off financially now than I was 5 years ago - growing my practice 10% every year for these 5 years. Since Wells Fargo has my existing SBA loan, Wells Fargo is the ONLY bank I could get additional SBA funding without them first denying the loan. I was assured I would get the additional funds since the total amount owed to Wells Fargo would be LESS than what they loaned me 5 years ago - but was denied.(?) How Wells Fargo can give me an SBA loan 5 years ago but deny me a loan that would still be LESS than what they loaned me before is beyond me. Needless to say, I am VERY disappointed by the way I was treated - I had a MUCH better experience 5 years ago!

I called and spoke to your representative. Answer was, I don’t know why it was declined. Then I spoke to your supervisor. Same answer I got from your supervisor. So if your people don’t know this type of sensitive issue, who will know and where we will get these answers from ? I am extremely disappointed with your service for long time. I have never been so disgusted with a company than I have been with Wells Fargo. I recently changed jobs and was trying to roll over my Roth IRA account to my state employer. I contacted the provider, filled out the paperwork that I needed to and they sent in the paperwork to Wells Fargo to roll over my account. Wells Fargo replied that they cannot take “written documentation” and needed to speak with me personally to liquidate my account before they could roll it over. Since I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Wells Fargo customer service I did not want to speak to them. However, I could do nothing about it because they refused to transfer my money until I did so. I contacted the new state employer and Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo stated that they had sent “numerous” requests to the new provider about the information they needed. When I spoke to the state employer they reported that they have received nothing from Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo then submitted a statement to my new employer which they forwarded me which happened to be dated the “day after” I called Wells Fargo to find out what was happening with the transfer. Anyhow, I contacted them and just decided to liquidate my account and have the funds transferred to my account and would roll it over myself. I went in to a local Wells Fargo branch and filled out the paperwork with a representative. He asked me, “Do you want to include the tax penalty.” I stated, “NO.” It is a Roth IRA account and I have already paid taxes on the money I deposited in to the account. I am not taxed for the original amount that I deposited. Let me further clarify why this is important. The money I earned on this account was a little over $1000 in the 6 years that this account was open. When the money from the liquidation was deposited in to my account there was $1000 missing. I contacted Wells Fargo and asked where the rest of it was. The representatives reply was that the other funds was the 10 % tax penalty. I originally deposited $9200 in the account in 2011. When I closed out my account the total account was $10,516. What was deposited in to my account was $9500. I would have only been taxed on the difference between $10,516 and the original $9,200 that I originally put in to my account which was $1,316 with at 10 % penalty is $131.60. I told the representative that I told the Wells Fargo Representative NO on the tax penalty. One response I got from her is, well we ‘couldn’t read the paperwork so we just have to submit it with the tax penalty.’ The next response I received from her was ‘the representative wasn’t supposed to fill out the paperwork with you’-so with that I was just penalized?? Not sure what that has to do with me being penalized, but it was an excuse given by this representative. She then stated, “Well, that’s our policy.” I told her I didn’t care what her policy was and that this was Wells Fargo’s error and they needed to fix it. She just kept repeating “well that’s our policy.” I get so tired of businesses that can’t get their employees to think outside the box and actually solve problems. ‘It’s a go to for many businesses and individuals that can’t think beyond “well, it’s our policy.’ I asked this representative if she understood that you are not taxed on Roth IRA’s “original” amount that was put in which she did, and obviously didn’t have anything to stay about that because at the end of the day I was taxed twice because of Wells Fargo. She asked me if a representative called me and stated that they were supposed to call me. Did they? No. Was I penalized. Yes.
I am glad that at the end of the day I am honest in my dealings and don’t take advantage of people in the name of big business.
I deposited a check in the amount of $6022.00 on Oct 7 2017 via ATM, Columbus GA (Bradley Parkway Branch) and told by the online customer care that if the funds were available by M&T Bank of Maryland, would post and be available on the 10th of October 2017. I went into the Bradley Parkway yesterday (10 October) to confirm the funds would be in my account by COB on the 10th and the assistant manager asked me with a very sarcastic attitude what COB stood for, and was not familiar with the acronym and clearly diverting from the matter at hand.
Today (11 October 2017) at 4:31 A.M. I checked the account online and the funds had not posted to my account. I called customer care (1-800-956-4442) to see why the funds were not fully posting to my account and was told that an additional hold until the 19th of October was in place on most of the funds, due to negative account history of the past 6 months. I then was told by customer care at 11 A.M. that had been cleared, and now they needed to verify funds were available with M&T bank in Maryland and would I mind being placed on a brief hold, I said no not at all.
I was on hold for some time and when the customer care representative returned they said the M&T would not verify funds available for the check issued to third parties and as a secondary approach I could request “proof of payment on letter head from M&T. I attempted this by telephone and the M&T bank representative said there is no need for this, as she could see the funds had moved to Wells Fargo, clearly and she had no idea what it was they wanted any further as nothing is needed and in fact the now status of the account and the funds could be applied by the local bank manager.
I went to the Bradley parkway branch shortly after that conversation with customer care and the assistant manager insisted that now “they needed verification the check had cleared,” This new and arduous ruse went on for 15 minutes with a charade of attempted calls to M&T bank in my presence and was irrelevant given she, the manager and I, knew the funds were already in the possession of Wells Fargo.
This was clear as was the reason for the extended hold on the funds, that from the beginning of the morning of the 11th were never in question where the funds were, but only why they were not being applied to my account. Growing tired and increasingly offended of the equivocating information being provided.
During this entire encounter, whom ever her assistant is (same person that asked me what COB stood for the day before), continued to roll her eyes insisting she had made every attempt possible and now the bank manager says they have gone out of their way to try to help rectify this and get the funds applied. I laughed as I then informed the bank manager at this point that the customer care team informed me that she had the ability to apply the funds to my account with no further delay and that I am a finance major (healthcare finance) and in fact, the check is drawn on my status as a full-time healthcare finance and administration graduate school of Maryland University.
I also informed the bank manager that I had filed a complaint as of today and then, in the open place of business, in front of customers, from the office (door wide open) and clearly audible for all to hear, employees included, she acknowledged by saying “I do have that ability but what makes you think I want to help you now after you filed a complaint against me?’ I was speechless, but restated her position and alls she did was raise a sharp eyebrow and a look of pure iniquity. Call your bank there were over 15 people, employees, customers etc. that heard it. It was mind blowing and had no words.
I left and began communicating with my peers at Ft. benning and this is not the end of this obvious mistreatment of a customer. I have been at Ft. Benning for 4 years, recently retired (1 Aug), my payroll checks are direct deposit and now 50 percent of what they were prior to August. This bank manager, I have been told is married to a retired Soldier so she understands better than most the difficult time of transition this is for me and my family. I have been in 4 wars, am extremely disabled and in fact was medically boarded from the Army years. I require multiple surgeries and unable to do much of anything currently. All my deposits have cleared, 100% every time, every month for the entire time I have been with your institution. I feel that there may be possibly, some personal motive as I wish to expound here. A month ago, my wife tried to cash a treasury check at the very same branch and told the same information of a possible extended hold. We drove to Ft. Benning and cashed that very check the same day with Wells Fargo. I want measured action taken, and I am communicating this as far as it needs to go to ensure your organization is recognized by veterans for what it is, at least that branch anyway.
I have banked with Wells Fargo for many years. Until recently (last 3 visits) I have never felt so confused and angry about the way I have been treated especially on the 3rd visit. To start off, I am renovating my new first home that I just purchased a few months ago. I decided to go through a different lending agency because I was told by Wells Fargo that their time stamp for a renovation process is 6 months, which I don’t want and can’t afford due to double rent payments. My new lender that I purchased my house with decided to send out the disbursement checks for the renovation to my general contractor with 3 names on the check (My GC’s business name, my name and my wife’s name). It requires all 3 of our signatures to be cashed. Due to my general contractors banking issues we decided to use my bank (wells Fargo) to cash the checks or deposit them to continue the process for the renovation (the process is 5 draws, one for every portion of the work that is completed). The first check we cashed through Wells Fargo was a little difficult due to the check having a business name being placed on with 2 bankers for Wells Fargo, we were able to deposit half of it and cash the other check since there was only a specific amount of cash within the account to hold as collateral. So the first check was processed and it went through so we continued to work with that money to get another draw for the second check. For the second check I went to the same person in Wells Fargo that helped me for my first check which was a supervisor of some form. She then insists that she cant deposit the check or cash it due to it being above 10k, she then starts telling me that she doesn’t understand how the first one was processed due to the names listed on the check. I was confused on why it was in issue for the check being 4k more in value but we had more in our account this time around so I didn’t think this would be too much of an issue. After politely discussing options of what the possibilities were to get the check deposited, I sat down with a banker who was amazing in customer service. His name was Michael at the Wells Fargo in Grants Pass, OR. Not only did he help me deposit my check, he contacted the legal team to figure out what we could do continue to deposit the remaining 3 checks with no issue. He received information from his staff on a higher scale in wells Fargo that I was able to deposit the checks as long as there was proper identification for the business and for the bankers involved. I was very pleased with Michael’s help and with his professional customer service skills. Michael gave me his card and informed to hand the teller in the future the card to let them know I talked with him and that he got the right information just in case there were any complications to help us make this process run smoothly. Now I was 2 checks down and 3 left before this renovation was done with. After my GC completed a ton of work and a long wait for the 3rd draw, we eventually received our 3rd check (today). So I decided to go into Wells Fargo today to deposit the 3rd check. As I approach the bank teller (Louise) at the Grants Pass, OR branch to inform her I have a check to cash, she then instantly tells me in a frantic way that there is not enough money at that branch on Monday (today) to make those needs possible. I was thrown off by how unpleasant she was about it but I didn’t let that bother me. I then informed her I could also deposit a portion of it and take partial cash. She told me I would receive smaller bills but that was fine by me, I just wanted work to be able to continue. Since Louise was confused on the process, she then gets the person that helped me for my first 2 draws which was a relief. The person that helped me for the first 2 draws informs Louise to run it by the assistant manager at the time (I wish I could remember his name) but he decided the check was not able to be deposited since the business name of my GC’s business was listed on the check. He comes and talks to me about the process, so I explained to him what Michael’s research was and the Assistant Manager informs me Michael was on vacation and that he should not have allowed the checks to be processed. He began to have a very stern but irritated tone when discussing the matter but I just wanted clarity in the matter. I asked the AM if he could contact Michael or the legal team to figure out the logistics of the matter. He told me the only one that would be able to make that decision is Mark the Branch manager, who was in the hall way. I told the AM I would like to discuss it with Mark so I could bring some light into the situation and the AM went out to retrieve him. The AM is discussing with Mark about the whole ordeal and brings Mark to my location. When I started to bring up the situation to Mark, Mark decides to disregard anything I have said and just repeats back what the AM told me. I then asked if there was any way to contact Michael or anyone that might know more about it and Mark decided to randomly lift his voice and interrupt me to an unreasonable level. Not only was it unprofessional but it was VERY rude. I still kept my professional tone and still wanted to discuss more about the process, Mark then tells me that I would have to sit and wait for the next possible person that could assist me since all Mark could tell me was that he didn’t know enough information to assist us (which was fine because Mark was not trying to assist me in any way but to find reasons to not help me regarding to my account). After sitting down for a few moments, Mark decides to come over and brings up other irrelevant information pertaining to why I cant make any deposits possible and then repeat the same 3 things that he repeated 5 times all ready without listening to any other information I provided (not having the exact amount of money in the account that matches the check, my GC didn’t have his business account through Wells Fargo, the check wasn’t a Wells Fargo check). He would repeat the same thing over and over thinking it was a form of way to help me in the situation. After Mark approached me to have me go through the same circle of no’s he placed on me vs trying to help with the matter, I decided to leave. Now I know the check is questionable to say the least but I have deposited 2 just like it all ready and history proves its a legitimate account for which it is transferred. I could have been fine knowing I couldn’t deposit the checks due to the circumstances of the names listed, but the way Mark and his AM treated me at the Wells Fargo in Grants Pass, OR was not only the most unprofessional way, it was the rudest I have ever been treated in a customer service environment. This ordeal has made me question why I have stayed with Wells Fargo for so long.

Beginning of September I call property loss department to request a check I’m told 3-5 business days. I wait, nothing? I call back to find out what’s going on I’m told check sent out 9/15 but was cancelled? No one called me to let me know this. They said my name was on check can only be the contractor. I asked them to reissue me a check please expidite as my contractor needs to purchase product for my home. Wells Fargo is now delaying my rebuild! I’m told once corrected “no date given” will take another 3-5 business days. I wait, nothing. I check my home several times, nothing. I called back asked who sent my mail so I can track it. I was told FedEx. they gave me tracking number FedEx said delivered left at front door. Not your teams fault, however if I would have know this would be delivered FedEx I would have requested to be sent to a different address. My house is clearly not livable due to the fire so when we left we had USPS foward all our mail to our temporary house. However we don’t get FedEx. To make things easier I requested your resolutions representative Carleen to stop payment and reissue another check directly to Charles Keller Construction. She asked for the address, I provided it… she stated the stop payment can take a few days after that the check will be mailed to my contractor. This was om 9/28/2017. My contractor called said he didn’t see a check come in could I find out what’s going on. I call today was hung up on 3 times…. I finally got through to Michael in property loss department who said there was a note added today that customer needs to give written consent in order to mail to contractor? Two questions here. Why didn’t Carleen tell me this on 9/28? If my conversations recorded I gave verbal consent so why can’t you just mail it? Michael transferred me to a supervisor who did not empathize with my situation at all. Very disconnected to what I am gping through. I did get upset and ask her to put someone else on the phone. She had me on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on me. I called back talked to Michael again who transferred me over to a manager Kim who told me I can go on icc.com.wellsfargo to upload written consent form or fax it in. I told her I told the supervisor who hung up on me I did not have a fax machine and had no way of leaving. Kim suggested I use the website which would take 2 days to take care of once they get it. Then I would assume that my contractor would have to wait another 3-5 business days? I googled the website and found nothing? I need help today! I am being inconvenienced here… As husband with 3 children I am sure you can relate how important being in your own home is. My wife, 2 children and I really want to get back in our home and Wells Fargo is making this process very difficult. I have attached my written consent maybe you can expidite this process.

I applied dor a modification during my divorce so I could at least make my payments without recourse. My preservation specialist Tanisha was not helpful nor calculated my debt nor took my debt info. I complained to a Chris McNeealy who does absolutely nothing, no work, no calls, no review of my mod and gave me a mod higher than my old note. I told wfhm I couldn’t afford the new payment of $1013.00 and they didnt care. This company does not care for ppl to keep their home. My new mod became effective 1/2/17 and had to make this payment. April 2017, wfhm said oops they forgot to add in the escrow and raise my now un affordable payment up to $1300. Im April , I had a hud financial assistant to request that the spread the addtl $300 over a 60 mth period. Hud assured me they do this for all customers. Theyre telling me thsat my escrow analysis was the approval and that my current mrtg is $487 and my taxes are $800 more a month. LIARS .Ive been calling everyone since June to see what could be done to help. Today 10/5/17, whfm tell me that I cant get another spread. How in the world does this company continue to be a business when it cheats everyone out of their home. There has to be a way besides stepforward (lien) to help me keep my home. I am quite disturbed by the recently discovered banking policy that allows the bank to place a recording on your account stating that “PENDING CHARGES ARE BEING HELD & THAT YOUR CURRENT BALANCE REFLECTS THOSE CHARGES BEING HELD,” only to discover that if the vendor has not concluded that authorized transaction of the funds WITHIN 24 HOURS, THE FUNDS are returned to your account but the ACCOUNT HOLDER IS NOT NOTIFIED BY ANOTHER RECORDED BANK ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THOSE PENDING FUNDS WERE NOT PAID AS AUTHORIZED BY THE ACCOUNT HOLDER AND THAT THOSE FUNDS WERE RETURNED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND ADDED TO YOUR BALANCE, ONLY TO BE WITHHELD AGAIN AND PAID AGAIN LATER, CAUSING OVERDRAFT FEES TO YOUR ACCOUNT. If the bank is only going to hold your funds for 24 hours, then it should notify the account holder of that fact in the initial recorded message concerning the “pending transaction,” because account holders are assuming that the payments have been paid when they check their balances online or on the telephone.
The current policy is clearly a banking scam for all bank account customers who are relying upon the recorded balance stated when contacting their bank and the authorization that the account holder is giving to the bank to make payments as directed. This hold and release without further notice is a COMPLETE SCAM ON THE ACCOUNT HOLDERS BY THESE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS BECAUSE THE ACCOUNT HOLDERS ARE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE PAYMENTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID AND THAT THE ACCOUNT BALANCE THEN REPORTED IS ACCURATE. Most account holders are completely unaware that “PENDING TRANSACTIONS BEING HELD, COULD THEN BE RELEASED WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND RETURNED TO THEIR ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY FURTHER NOTICE TO THE ACCOUNT HOLDER AND THEN PAID AGAIN LATER WITHOUT ANY PREVIOUS NOTICE TO THE ACCOUNT HOLDER, WHICH WILL CAUSE MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH OVERDRAFTS AND NONPAYMENT OF OTHER CHECKS OR AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS THAT THE ACCOUNT HOLDER HAS MADE, while the bank is making money on these “bait and switch payment tactics” it is utilizing.
I strongly protect Wells Fargo’s actions in this matter and urge Congress to immediately address these “scam bait and switch policies” being used to make money for these banks and cause account holders unnecessary charges, fees and confusion.
Congress needs to address this issue immediately to stop banks from making money on this scam account policy which adversely impacts so many American citizens and account holders by causing financial havoc within their bank accounts and creditors being paid via these accounts.
Is anyone else have trouble getting their mortgage processed in Charlotte, NC.? My daughter has been waiting for over a month to have her buyer approved so they can close on their house. It appears that the person handling the buyers mortgage has totally screwed his process up beyond repair.
Same thing with our house sale in Montezuma,NC. Wells is totally incompetent in the mortgage field, No one should have a mortgage with them. Our sale was delayed for 3 months because of a Wells mortgage on a small sliver of land that we unfortunately bought from our neighbor who has a mortgage with Wells. What a bureaurocratic mess!
When is well Fargo going to build a store in Granbury Tx. There are stores in every town from Dallas to godly. Then nothing for twenty miles. Godly has a population of about 2k. Granbury has about 20k, but no store. Have been with WF sense I was just a kid. But having to drive 40 plus miles Everytime I need to do banking is getting to me.
As of today I am done with Wells Fargo bank. I have been targeted over 10 times since receiving a chipped card. This chip was to prevent fraud, but the growing problems with Fraud on my cards has gotten ridiculous. Wells Fargo asks large amount of verification questions over an open phone line, that to me is a recipe for further problems. But they do not understand the real meaning of security, look at their last CEO and Board member, only got a slap on the wrist, should have been sent to jail for a long, long time. That was really bank fraud and deception to the public. Wells Fargo has based its reputation on integrity and respect, but they do not know what the really meaning of those words really are!
I’ve been dealing with Wells Fargo customer service for more than six months now and they Half not resolve the issues with my credit card advanced interest charged. Every time I call and talk to customer service, they always told me that their system declined my request and gives no reason why. It seems like I have to consult with an attorney in this matter before Wells Fargo charge me more money for nothing. On July 27, 2017, I went into your bank located on Belcher Road in Clearwater, Florida at 1:15 pm. I waited 10 minutes for a banker an no one came to ask me if they could help me, so I asked the manager if someone could help me, he said a banker would be out to help me in a minute. Twenty minutes later a banker showed up and attempted to help me with no satisfaction, so I wasted 25 minutes of my time. This is no way to run a bank.
I applied for a home loan purchase and received an approval. Then Wells Fargo put me through the ringer with repeated requests for data. Once I had satisfied their requirements, new requests were repeatedly made. In the 10th week of waiting I receive no response from my mortgage rep for over a week and a half (he quit) then I receive a terse email from a Travis Feddersen that my loan was declined because the condo HOA guidelines do not comply. Ten weeks had passed and I incurred costs for appraisal, application fees, home inspection, notary snd DHLI. I have been a WF customer for 20 years, have a 785 FICO and have had multiple mortgages with WF in the past. I have never experienced more frustration with incompetence and poor service as WF dragged me through this horrendous and stressful experience. I will be writing to their CEO Timothy Sloan and VP of retail mortgage lending. WF’s actions once again show they just don’t give a damn about their customers. I will close my accounts with them.
I’m having the exact same issue as you this is just ridiculous! I’m not getting through via email and their phones are going to voicemail. I’ve called everyone trying to get some answers their complaint line 800.853.8516 and the Attorney General, and still no answers. So, I’m sending them messages to their LinkedIn account.
I’m doing the same because like you their staff lacks basic knowledge about what services the bank provides and all they care about is demanding about frivolous things like overdrawn fees. I do have written to their board of directors and I’m still waiting for a response. I’m going through a very difficult situation and not once did they offer me a relief grant program for the disabled and homeless customers who have strong similar issues like victims for disaster relief. After reading the program I should have been offered a relief financial assistance to help with my housing rental needs and I’ve been with them since college 08 and still ongoing. I reached out to social media and blast them for lack of empathy and experience for long term customers. I’ve reached out for another banking institution and Bank of America are willing to work with me. It’s sad to leave but my immediate needs are not being taken seriously yet they offer financial assistance to relief none customers. Not good and good bye Wells Fargo.

Did you get a response? I went through the same process recently. I am a long term WF customer and have several investment loans through them as well. I was put through the ringer of a two month close despite being promised deadline after deadline. They kept asking for information. The manager Tere Ritter promised me a return on the appraisal fee and they said they would work on refunding the list earnest money due to there error. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone for a month and then they called and said they would do a total of absolutely nothing. I emailed terry and the other manager to ask why they promised this and then lied. They simply reside to respond now. I’m taking my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. This level of arrogance and dismissiveness is just uncalled for.
I could copy and paste Mr. McManus’ email as I have had the exact experience. As an HR professional, it scares me that this level of incompetence could be acceptable for a major corporation. It also explains how WF employees were allowed to create millions of unauthorized bank and credit card accounts. There is absolutely no accountability. As a customer of WF for the past 17 years, my eyes are now open.

We are trying to locate someone who can assist and support us in a flooding problem we are experiencing which is aggravated due to customers exiting Wells Fargo drive through after a rain storm. When exiting and driving down the street the water on the street comes up to our home’s front door. Also all the debris and landscaping from the bank flows into our driveway, carport and yard. Of course when customers exit they sometimes want to speed out vs drive cautiously though the water on the road. This is a several months issue here since we live in Florida, Fort Myers Beach. We have mentioned this to the Wells Fargo Bank Manager however they claim there is really nothing they can do. We have been customers of Wells Fargo for several years and this is our bank. Not that this should make a difference, but this situation is becoming serious and could cost us damages especially during our hurricane and rainy season. Can someone please contact us and advise. Why has WF removed the coin counting machine from Sauk Rapids MN branch? This is really inconsiderate as some of us save our coins every day and I was told I had to put in tubes and then they will accept the coins. After 55 years with WF, this is a real kick in the teeth. I have been a Wells Fargo customer for many years. I deposited my pay roll check on Friday, then the next Tuesday I found out that my check was being held for verification and funds would not be available for 10 days. I spoke to my employer and they provided proof that the check had cleared in their bank 2 days prior. Since then, I have contacted the local Wells Fargo bank and called the 800 number several times. They told me that, even though the check has cleared on their end, they will not release the check for an additional 5 days. I do not understand how they can get away with this, it is a simple pay roll check that I receive twice a month. I would like to warn others that Wells Fargo will withhold your hard-earned money and not give flying crap about you.

It looks like my decision to leave Wells Fargo was a good one. I’m writing a letter to the CAO about my mortgage because I’ve paid five months payments this year but only was given credit on the principle for one plus about $30. I wonder where my money went. The hassles have been horrendous and I’m talking to attorneys. Also am ready to send a complaint to the Federal Reserve. Why this bank has become so bad is beyond me. I’ve been with them for over 20 years. My advice: change banks and if you have the money (We do.) sue them (We may have to.) .

I had an ira account with them and went through a traumatic situation where I had nowhere to go and nothing to eat and when I requested to sell some stock to get money I had to fill out and fax some paperwork to them after doing all that they told everything was fine and I would have the money but when I inquired about it they told me that there was a page missing and I couldn’t get my money so I spent a week on the streets of a city I knew nothing about with nowhere to go and nothing to eat and they had $6000 of my money and I have their app on my phone and it has a place where you can deposit a check but it didn’t have the correct account where I wanted the money to go to so when I called and asked about it I was told that I was not allowed to deposit any money that way because of my account and No one could tell me why that’s just retarded I want to close my account and have nothing to do with them but I’m afraid that they will come up with some strange reason why I can’t

Not only does the company stink, and I would say worse if I could, the HR Director named Linda Obertin is on the Board of American Payroll Association, which is supposed to be the Number One organization for standards for payroll certification.

Try asking them to inspect the original loan document you signed for whatever type of loan you had. They will offer you a ‘notarized copy’ which means a Notary prints off a digital copy and notarizes that it is a copy of the digital copy. It is not sufficient to establish proof of claim.

I can’t speak for Wells Fargo as a whole but the branch in Columbus, GA on Manchester Expressway sucks! My boyfriend text me while I was at work saying that he went in the drive thru to deposit his check and asked for cash back. He said that they took forever and he noticed the teller (that he also had) tell someone to come in. Anyway, when he finally received his money it was $100 short!! He immediately sent it back in and told the teller the problem. The teller asked to come in and he did. He said that they had to could the drawer so by this time I’m off and sitting on the phone with him the entire time. While waiting, he hears another teller say that her drawer was $100 over but the teller my bf had said his wasn’t. They told him there was nothing they could do. He asks about the other teller being over $100 and “some rude lady” says that it her drawer has nothing to do with it. My bf then asks his teller, that if he gave him the $100, in what form did he give it. The teller stated that he “thinks” he gave him the correct amount back. My bf responds and says “this man doesn’t even know WHAT he gave me!” By this time I’m at the bank. It’s a few minutes after 5pm so the door are locked. By this time my bf is very upset and cursing. They say there’s nothing they can do and that he needs to leave. As a lady is unlocking the door to let him out, I try to talk to her as I stand in the door. She states that they can’t let anyone else in the bank. I told her that I understood but that I would like to know what he needed to do to get the matter looked into, possibly closing his account and if I could speak to the manager. She said to give her a minute to speak to the manager and she’d let me know. Please know that it’s raining, cold and I’m 33 weeks pregnant and the lady never came back. In fear of them just leaving without handling the matter I call the police. Turns out they had already called them! When the officer came, he tried to let us come in as well to sit but they lady told him the he was cursing and she didn’t feel “comfortable” I guess letting him back in. Again, I’m pregnant! But anyway, the officer came back out and said “you don’t want to mess with banks because what they do is call the hire ups and then the next thing you know, the FEDS are involved” OOOKKKAAYYY?? I told him that that was fine but what did we need to do going forward. That I’m not trying to so that the teller pocketed the money, it could’ve been an honest mistake but it needs to be looked into. He said that it was best that we just leave and go to the main building tomorrow. What gets me is that they told my bf to look in the car!! Like they gave him a hundred dollar bill when the receipt said his change ($190.74) was in all twenties and one ten! You mean to tell me he dropped 5 twenties or is lying yet sent it right back in, came in as asked and we called the police?? Calling corporate first thing in the morning and as soon as his deposit clears we’re going to the main branch to close out the accounts. Banking with them for over 5 years and to be told there’s nothing they can do when the website clearly says “on the side of our customers” is beyond hurtful. They didon’t even want to look into the matter and the officer didn’t want to do his job either. I bet there’s no report. It doesn’t matter if it was $5, “there’s nothing we can do” should’ve never been said. Take my info and “we’ll look into it” or directing us to a manager or the main office would’ve worked just a little bit better.

Remember, they have cameras everywhere, most banks will have cameras over the area where their tellers are working. They are required to keep recordings, especially if there is an issue at hand, Contact the bank manager directly, ask for a written report to be released on what the tapes show, detailed documentation of the events that happened, DO THIS ALL IN WRITING, DO EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Unless the conversation is recorded (laws apply to this), you cannot prove a conversation but BLACK AND WHITE SPEAK VOLUMES. All processes that lead to court involve arbitration. Costs a lot of money for Wells Fargo to arbitrate everything. Go through the steps, it’s a pain in the butt, however, victory is yours for the taking, you just have to work for it. Their hopes and how they process their internal complaints, etc., is set up to make you want to give up under frustration of the system. Make the system work for you. Stay on top of it, don’t let time go by without contact so they know that this problem will not go away and needs to be addressed.

I currently do not have a Wells Fargo Acount but I have been meaning to join my husbands account. My company uses Well Fargo for their banking needs and I usually go in and cash my check at the Marbach location in San Antonio where they have outstanding customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere. Now, I cannot say this for SW military/New Laredo HWY location. I was there Saturday morning to cash my payroll check since I was on that particular side of town. after waiting in line for 25min the teller advises me that they are not cashing non-costumer checks due to a cash shortage. I understand their dilemma but how would you not cash a check from your own bank? Now, okay they are trying to save it for their customers I get it I move on. Initially, I call and ask for a manager who happen to be busy so I spoke with a female rep to complain. When I ask why they couldn’t cash it and they explain I had an issue wrapping my head around it is still your banks check. I pretty sure I would have been over the issue if I would have received a sorry for the inconvience type response or something in those lines but instead I get ” Well ma’am we don’t print the money here!” in a sarcastic tone. I am not a rocket scientist or do I claim to be the most intelligent person in the world but I do know that Well Fargo doesn’t print money!!! That really boiled my blood. Yes, I did call to complain but I was never rude or disrespectful to deserve a rude and demeaning comment such as that. Then when I rebutted her comment she became even more obnoxious so I stated I will just call your cooperate office and inform them if your poor customer service and her response was @well call them then.” I hate to judge Wells Fargo by this one event it it is so hard not to. I am a Vietnam Era vet who was stationed over there and they are the nicest people BUT when I am really upset with the company I let them know, I want an American representative because they are paid enough for my attitude. I am REALLY upset by the news that I cannot bring in a jar of change and have it counted. I understand if maybe you limit it to only a few branch locations or if maybe you reimburse me to go elsewhere. Or, even if I give you my bag of change and have you deposit that dollar amount a week later - after you have time to count it. But REALLY. You are a bank afterall. The ONLY option you give is to tell us to count it ourselves???? Once a year I bring in a big bag of change that I’ve accumulated over the year. It is usually between $300 and $500. You expect me to sit and count it into neat little sleeves for you? Other banks still offer change counting. You are after all a BANK right? I know a lot is online so why don’t you just be a stupid online bank with no customer service….oh right - apparently that is where you are headed. So I found a debt card and called to let them know. Spoke with someone who didn’t seem to care. Anyway, I asked her what all I needed to do and she said just bring it in or give it to someone and have them bring it in. She didn’t ask for any information on the card. I asked if she needed anything from me and she said “NO”. I get to the bank after work, just to turn in the card, and she starts asking me questions. I wouldn’t give her my last name so she pulled it up on their caller ID. She also asks for my driver’slicense, didn’t give her that either. Sorry, but I was told that she didn’t need ANYTHING from me other than bringing in the card. If I would have known that a form (s) needed to be filled out, I would have left work earlier so I could, but she said she DID NOT need anything from me.

It happened to my wife and I, and I even told them that it was illegal to do it. But of course, they didn’t care, and even after the lawsuit did happen, noone but the attorneys recouped their cost in that mess. Now the most recent one…..and it looks like they are on to the nexst one. HOW TO PUT OFF A CUSTOMER FOR MONTHS, AND HOPEFUL THEY WILL GO AWAY . We have had an ongoing dispute with the bank, and the way they handle claims or anything in dispute is to put you int the Maze ofr WF. When you call with a dspute,, you call the toll free number (that by the way is not Free because of all the time spent on the phone going from division to division. Customer service ,to ACH, to debit to let’s mess with our clients and make them think they are being heard. but, you are a ball in a n a meeting telling someone doesn’t mean they will log on

I haven’t been able to find the commercial anywhere. It’s called the “Magic Snowglobe”, I think. It was shot in Casper, Wyoming. Wells Fargo is the biggest joke of a bank! They have no idea what is going on, no matter who you call on the phone, what banker you deal with, or any manager who is supposed to be in the know… I have MULTIPLE issues with this bank and will be withdrawing all of my services from them. When I first got them they said they could lower my car payments, after running my credit and making me sit through paper work, then decided they wouldn’t be able too because I wasn’t a customer long enough. Then, my husband and I wanted to get a loan that should have been “quick and easy” after providing last year’s W2 and a current pay stub. We spent all day Friday afternoon from 2-6 pm going back and forth between banker and underwriter of additional, ridiculous information needed. Friday night we were told our loan would be able to be processed and good to go Saturday morning at 9 am. We went to the bank at 9 am on Saturday only to find out that the fulfillment center doesn’t open until 10 or 11…. HOW do you not know when it even opens?!? Today I give them a call, they say everything is a go, but we are just waiting on a for sure answer….. I tell them I need this money today to make a payment that is very important. The banker says he will get it expedited, calls 45 mintues later for me to come down and sign paper work. I go down, go over all of the guidelines and he slips in “however, the money cannot be put into your account until Wednesday.” They made me come down there KNOWING I needed it today or not all, which I had mentioned NUMEROUS times while being on the phone. This is the biggest joke of a company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I am sure this comes as no shock considering you can’t seem to find ANY information on getting ahold of corporate for complaints… WORST BANK TO EVER GO TO!!!!

Wells Fargo is the worst bank I have ever been with in my life. My husband and I have been long time members of Wells Fargo banking. As of late we are very unimpressed. It is currently a holiday weekend and everyone else we know has had their direct deposit cleared and put into their bank accounts prior to the holiday weekend and my husband is still awaiting his to be deposited. We contacted Wells Fargo and they basically said well there’s nothing we can do for you but all of our other friends who are with PNC and this bank and that bank and every other bank have already had their Monies deposited in their account. So here we sit on a holiday weekend with Christmas shopping to do for our children with no money because Wells Fargo is the most ridiculous thing I have ever worked with in my life. A direct deposit should be cleared as soon as it is sent to the bank and not have to sit there for several days until they feel like processing it especially on a holiday weekend. Who has ever heard of a bank holding money until after a holiday weekend when it’s a direct deposit. Usually what happens is those monies go in the Working Day prior to the holiday. Absolutely ridiculous.

ATM issues - File claim with Wells Fargo on 11/4/16 regarding ATM idispursing funds that I did not receive and was denied without claim department ever viewing the ATM video to see who took my money. Wells Fargo had no documentation of any debt owed but sold my sisters loan anyway after the statute of limitations expired for a back debt of $1766 the home was sold for $6500 and its worth $200,000! She was found by a court to be mentally disabled prior to the sale of her home and our family was of record in Alaska.

I was recently victim of a scam. Someone posting as Microsoft technicians got my wells fargo card information. When i found out, I went to your Kennewick Branch, on Kellogs’s street in Pasco, WA. There i spoke to a Banker
(Jose) i explain to him the situation and said that I needed them to stop this charge. He said I needed to cancel that card and get a new one in order to stop this charge, and so i did. He put me on the phone with a cusomer service representative. I explained to her the situattion once again. At this point there was told by them tha to there were no charges made to my card. I also was told i will receive my new card within 7 to 10 business days and I did not. One month later, called them again and finally got it. Well after all my efforts to stop this charge it did not work. The refered charged went through and not only that now I am been charge interest and late fees, supossively because i have not pay this amount. I feel I was completely ignore by your people and nothing was done to protect my account. I talked to 3 more people today (10/27/16) again wasted my time. Nothing got resolve and once again I felt ignored. The person i spoke to, ended up telling me that because ” I was provided with a service and I give them my information this is a valid charge”. He did not even get my point. All this issue was reported to Microsoft and I have a reference number to this case. Of course Microsoft can do much about it, because this an issue with my bank. The whole point of cancelling my card and getting a new one, was to stop this charge but it was just a waste of my time instead. I hope you guys put yourself in my position and try to understand my frustation as a customer. I am reaching out to you in an effort to get this resolve. Hopefully you guys care enough about your customers to really take the time to read this messages.

I have bought a home with this Company before. They are thiev’s and rapist of all including you CHILDREN and there futures. I was given an illegal laon by Wells Fargo and for two years tried to resolve the issue. An employee told me at one time to just to get out of the house another told me that there was nothing they would be willing to do to resolve the problem. Finally I was told that they had come to an aggreement with the government that would help me to keep my home, that was Forclosure. They were forced to pay restitution monies to the victims of thier crimes, but lied to the Court and it’s Court Apptointed overseer Company and never had to pay out any of the monies that were due to it’s victims.
I have so many issues right now it’s scary and cannot get a number for their corporate offices. I have complaints with Congress and the CFBP do that .

My online banking account has been locked and know one will tell us why, they are saying we have to drive 8 hours to a location to get this resolved. As an account holder and banking with WF for several years, it is surprising to learn that WF has fired 5000 + employees over five year period involved in the wrong doing.

We understand that of all the areas affected by its improper check and balances is the San Francisco Bay are. It employed around 15000 employees out of which it had to let go 5000+, a whopping 30%, yet it says only 2% employees were involved - no sir, you are pulling wool over your customers. Accept it that you miserably failed in proper vigilance and due diligence. Also, you continue to cowardly play the average game when you say that the affected account holders were compensated which amounted to less than $25! You paid the amount only to those who had accounts in San Francisco area, not the entire bank-wide account holders.
Just wake up and do more diligence and satisfy - by eliminating fees that you charge for services for five years. this will be one of the ways to correct the wrongdoing and failing in finding and implementing a correct and honorable code of conduct.

i opened a safe deposit box. after 2 weeks i wanted to close everything. the deposit box was paid for the 12 months. i was informed that i could close it but no refund would be given. i complained to the branch mgr. after 20 min i told her i was writing the dept of banking. she agreed to refund 11 months
i then closed the estate account. but needed to wait for my direct deposit to get to wells. i had to change direct deposit and wait until my next deposit hit my old bank.
on saterday when my old bank received the deposit i tried to close the remains account and was told i had to wait till tuesday. on tuesday i arrived at the bank to close it and was meet with resistance i told them close the account. again the same branch mgr refused to close it. i won i have closed all accounts.

2 years ago I was notified by wells fargo via email that my “changes” to my account had been made. I was not aware of any changes since my address had not changed in 2 decades. I came to find that my checking account, savings, and credit card and debit card had been closed. I went into the Desoto branch of wells fargo to find out that the Springfield VA branch of wells fargo allowed a man to come into the bank and close my accounts without proper ids. First, I am a woman, my social security number is different than this person, I had not switched jobs or address. I was never contacted through the work phone or cell number on my account prior to this happening. They allowed this man to do all of these things to me for no reason. When I brought 3 picture IDS to the branch and closed out the fraudulent accounts and restored my accounts I thought this nightmare was over. Nope. After waiting 2 weeks and numerous phone calls to Chris the bank manager on why my new cards and checkbooks had not arrived, we both realized that the banker had sent all the new and restored cards and checks to the man who fraudulently closed my accounts. I had to close out all the accounts AGAIN. I had spent over 2 hours at this bank in less than 2 weeks. It took me 3 weeks to get my account restored. This bank also made the mistake of depositing $500 of my cash into another persons account on “accident”. Since then I’ve had numerous debit cards sent to me that forces me to go online and change numerous auto-pay bills. It takes 40 mins to go to my health and car insurance, credit cards, cable, electric, cell phone, uber, lyft, nordstroms account to change ALL THESE AUTO-PAY BILLS. I have done this 5X now. I find wells fargo to be unprofessional, reckless, and INCOMPETENT with their banking procedures and they violate any form of PROPER BANKING PROCEDURES. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON SOMEONE CAN LEGALLY GO TO A BANK AND CHANGE A PERSONS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND SEX WITHOUT RAISING SOME FLAGS. Wells fargo’s business practice is illegal, unconscionable, reckless, and dangerous to their customers. They need to be investigated for their actions immediately.I could have LOST MY ENTIRE SAVINGS . This should no longer be tolerated and needs to be rectified.

I have been lied to and deceived by Wells Fargo regarding the automatic payment plan. I admitted that the representative and I had wires crossed when I first sent it up, however we fixed the issue. Later, when I was off injured I cancelled the automatic program completely however Wells Fargo kept attempting to pull out money without my authority. This caused complete havoc to my account at both the bank and Wells Fargo. When I called in again, one of numerous calls, the representative acknowledged their mistake….on tape, however they again attempted to pull funds. When I complained to the BBB (Complaint ID#: 32099645), the responding representative sent a written response to BBB that the call where they acknowledged their errors did not exist. I have record of a 26 minute call to Wells Fargo however they deny it exists. Their actions and attempt to cover their errors are deplorable. We are in the process of changing to a reputable mortgage company and will never do business with them again.
A Misty Bingham from you corporate office contacted me. She contacted me about $500.00 that mysteriously disappeared from my account. I was informed that an employee lost, stole or misplaced the funds. Therefore I withdrew my own personal funds and immediately pressed charges against Wells Fargo Bank at Dekalb County Court.
Wells Fargo took the position that I wrongfully withdrew my own funds and assigned me a negative balance instead of seriously looking for the culprit that was right in their midst.
To this day my funds are still missing. Since several calls were made to me during the investigation , at a cost to Wells Fargo of $1500.00 per call, Wells Fargo can be charged with a felony. I suggest Misty Bingham be allowed to resolve this and find my money.

Applying for a loan and waiting for procurement to complete the process, asking what’s seems to be a train load of information, is ridiculous. The banker I’m working with is great but honestly I have no idea how can tolerate Wekks Fargo.
I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences (plural) and it’s to the point of absurdity.
Blame it on Dodd Frank or whomever, but if procuring a loan is such an arduous task, I have no idea how you keep a customer.

I tried to get information on an empty house forclosure..next door to me..nobody would give me the time of day..then i went in 2 local banks and talked with represenatives. Days and hours of my time and frustrations galore - fixing Wells Fargo’s BIG mistake and still they state won’t waive the fee’s. Won’t give even an apology! Something as simple as me taking out an interest free credit card to pay off two other cards. They were instructed to pay off my Home Depot and Kohl’s cards. Sounds simple. BUT..instead of paying off my Kohl’s charge as instructed, they routed the money to another institution!?!?! I’m left to fix this issue with hours and hours and days of my time. I had a incident last week at Wells Fargo when I went in to verify and old bank account and also an insurance claim that I (at least thought) I had the name to. I went onto the bank and provided the name that I was given, my identification and other pertinent info. They asked for the death certificate (which I did not have) and they stated that they had a copy. After giving all necessary info, the person at the desk next door (looked like Magic Johnson and was in fact the bank at the center he leases in Inglewood, CA) started laughing. I was then told by the banker I was with that they no longer had the insurance payment. I then sat down with the person who was laughing and he disrespectfully told me to leave. I asked him if it was bank policy to obtain personal info and then demand that customers eave. He then told me to get out off of the property he owns. Again, Magic Johnson is said to be the owner of the property. Yes, I was offended, especially because I really needed the money fo both self and for helping out my in debt community so we can keep certain programs and activities available. I live in Inglewood, California.
If I don’t have any money in my account well Fargo should not pay anyone. But they will pay 4.99 just to charge you overdraft fee for $35.00. I tried of them steelin from me. I don’t have overdraft protection for this very reason. HELL if I have a 0. Balance nobody should get paid. I know times are hard, but when the bank pay some one just to get overdraft fee it’s a DAMN shame. And four times they stole money from my account paying a third-party I didn’t even know this person I never met this guy he live in Africa and they stole my money to pay his overdraft fee. If well Fargo can’t pay thier employees they need to close their doors,and stop sterling from customer accounts.

I have been waiting 60 plus days to get my house sold to the buyer using this company. Now its at the title office and I don’t know how long that is going to take. I have had 3 closing dates and I have to move everything around for the third time. My closing date is 900 miles away, moving truck, movers, and my house has been packed forever. There is no reason that this should be taking this long. This is not my first sold home or move and it is ridiculous. If you don’t know closing say so. I cant believe the frustration I am having at this time. I will never deal with this banking system again. And people take off work while two families are in limbo.
You are not alone! Our closing date was changed 3 times. We talked to the “Executive Resolution Manager” - useless. We talked to the “Executive Loan Assistant” - useless. They all “understood how important our issue was”, but did they or could they help - nope. Did they care they were jeopardizing the sale of our current house?, that we were incurring additional expenses paying for utilities on a house we should have owned 2 weeks earlier?, that we were paying additional storage fees?, changing moving companies etc NOPE. NOW, the buyers of our current house are using Wells Fargo and the frustration starts again, only on the other side of the situation. They DO NOT CARE. So take your few thousand out of their bank, what do they care? - they already have you locked into a loan making more on the interest your paying. Best you can do is warn others.

I’ve been with Wells Fargo for about 12 years……I’ve paid thousands directly into my principle and it never shows up in my balance…Don’t tell me it’s because you paid dues for this and that. Because I ever stop making my regular monthly payments !!! You check all my payments to my principal (thousands) Where is it???
I am totally closing my account with Wells Fargo. Whether or not that part of the company had anything to do with my loan I tried to apply for. Cyndi Mann in Tucson Arizona, pushed for me to pay for the appraisal and the day after the appraisal she told me I was denied. What company makes you fork up money before approving your loan. Then said I couldn’t get a refund but the appraisal is still good for 35 days, knowing that I can’t use that appraisal anywhere else and would have to pay for another one. They totally ripped me off. Now no one calls me back or responds. That is $500 I lost. It may not be a lot to some, but that is to me. Customer service was rude and hung up on me twice. I am done with Wells Fargo. They will never take any of my money again.
Sane thing happened to me they approved my loan in March took the appraisal fe $400 then 1 week prior to the May 31st closing denied the loan. I was told everthing was going through fine with the loan process. I filed a BBB complaint and rebuttal. Wells stuck to the denial, they should have denied me in March due to a home loan modification under 12 mos poor service for a seasoned compsny. I found few good comments on line about their home loan company.
I went to my local branch and I discussed the issue that I was filling bankruptcy and wanted to build credit , my banker told me that they had a secured credit card for that purpose. I secured the card for $500.00 from my savings and all was good until I filed the bankruptcy. then Wells Fargo closed my account and are holding my money until my bankruptcy is final. I need the money on my card for bills and rent, now I am developing bad credit instead of good no thanks to Wells Fargo.
First of all I did not open accounts with Wells Fargo and one was opened in my wife’s name as well, it was opened by some employee who was under pressure by your bank mangers to open new accounts. This is happening at other branches as well and from what I have seen Wells Fargo is involved in a class action suit in California for this exact issue. I have called and written your bank to close these accounts and look into this. So far, NOTHING is being done about it. If it is not and I do not hear what is being done, I am taking this to the federal authorities and filing a complaint with homeland security. I am a Police Captain and detect fraud by someone, maybe an employee, whatever it is I am pissed and will make this complaint as well as contact the news media, so get you damn act together and fix this.

I am writing this letter because I am very displeased with the handling of my account. I have been a wells Fargo customer for over 3 years. I was charged $31 for a stop payment fee and then another $35 for a NSF fee. My concern is in the span of 2 days I paid $66 in fees to Wells Fargo and the bank did not think it was prudent to pay the $80 check it bounced. I am not in the business of paying Wells Fargo fees. I am very careful consumer and I take the handling of my account seriously. I understand that the bank charges for stop payment of checks as well as NSF fees, however I don’t feel it was good customer service to bounce an $80 check the same day I am being charged the fees. When I called to complain, I was advised that they will not reverse the NSF fee and they are sorry to lose my business. It’s sad that your corporate practice is to lose customers rather than reimburse the $35 fee. I will be taking my banking needs and that of my families to TD. I believe they bank human. Furthermore, I will never recommend customers to your bank.

Hi my name is Chelsea. I am only 20 years old. And yesterday I went to fix my account because my savings account went into negative. I had money in my Checking account because I got paid the previous day. It did not let me transfer money over the internet, nor the ATM. So I went into the store to talk to someone, they told me I cashed a bad check by accident and not my account is closed. I did not know it was a bad check that was written to me. I have over $600 that I deposited from my paycheck over the internet. That I cannot access because the account is closed. I have 3 bills to do. This is rediculous. And the hold on the check couldn’t even be lifted for me to get the money that I have. This bank is ridiculous and now because of this I am late on couple of my bills.
The best part yet the banker told me I will not be able to reopen my account with them or pretty much any bank. I felt so embarrassed there and broke down. Horrible bank and not so great employees.
Please help me some how. I cannot afford to pay all those late fees because of the banks fault.
Try contacting their corporate offices. The same thing happened to me and I was given a second chance in that the check I deposited was approved by the assistant manager at the time I deposited it and unfortunately turned out five days later to be a counterfeit cashier’s check that someone paid me with for an item I sold on Craigslist. Totally not my fault and I made sure to also report the check to the local police and FBI and ic3.gov that is the Internet fraud department of the FBI that also helped in my case so that Wells Fargo decided to go ahead and allow me to keep my account that is still unfortunately overdrawn by $400.00. They also kept my social security check that by law isn’t supposed to be allowed but of course especially Wachovia now Wells Fargo never cared much about laws anyway.

I just read an article where the same thing happened to a couple and the husband finally committed suicide after they lost their home even though they proved they made all the payments to Wachovia bank that was taken over by Wells Fargo, such a sad story but please remember there are agencies out there who can help.
Yup, they just ripped me off while applying for a loan. The lady made me think I was approved and all was moving along, and pushed for me to get the appraisal ordered. I paid $507, and the day after the appraisal I was told I was denied and sucked that the appraisal was done, I couldn’t get my money back. I’ve tried calling to fight this and customer service hangs up on me!! Cyndi Mann or her manager Guillermo will not return my calls. I’m furious.
I would like to better understand how and under what authority the Wells Fargo employees (to include all affiliates, subsidiaries under the Wells Fargo & Company Umbrella) operate when they do not use legal, or real names. For a very long time I have been trying to get information and help from people claiming to work at Wells Fargo, who use names that relate to certain bonds and common stock I own. I would think the Comptroller of Currency would be responsible, however, that title was vacated in November of 2011.
The employees , directors and officers have created an extremely unsafe environment, making it virtually impossible to protect my own assets. The whole Wachovia and First Union Merge into Wells is a complete lie, as it did not occur, or was not ‘announced’ in 2008. I cannot be the only person who 1. is aware of this gigantic fraud by the bank and 2. who is negatively impacted. It must be addressed, investigated and those who have been willing to act illegally WILL NOT BE INDEMNIFIED by any bonds, or insurances and held personally (criminally) liable.

Wells Fargo Bank in NJ claims it never received $1700.00 (by 2 fraudulent checks drawn on TD Bank) that was supposedly deposited into one of its checking accounts. Wells Fargo says they never received the money from TD Bank. TD Bank says it doesn’t have the money — and can’t tell where the money is — even though it transfers through a clearing house. We’ve been trying for 4 months to get the money returned to our account. TD Bank says the Fraud Department is looking into it; but we can’t contact the Fraud Department — only the Bank Manager can contact the Fraud Department. And he says TD Bank doesn’t have the money.
WHERE’S THE MONEY???? It’s been over 4 months since this occurred.

I went to my bank in Sebastian, FL today just to (deposit) 2 checks. One a retirement made out to just myself, The other was a Income Tax refund check In my and my husbands name. Yes he signed the check along with me. I have NEVER had a joint account with my husband. Was told they would not deposit the Tax check because my husbands was not on my account. ?????? What the hell I have been with the same bank with my own account for over 30 years! What if my husband was a doper??? Why WOULD I put him on my account? OR if he was sick in the head for some reason, Why would I put him on my account? I can NOT UNDERSTAND??????? The bank manager told me its like that because the goverment would not cash the check that BULL! What would your bank done if I had the Gov. deposit in to my account? Besides charge me to do so?
My tax person filed mine and my husbands tax return this year electronically and it was deposited in my bank account…in my name only. When I asked the tax person if there would be a problem when the funds are deposited just in my name alone they said no, the government doesn’t care where it goes….in fact I could have deposited it into anyones’s account.

WELL THIS MORNING WHEN I CHECK MY ACCOUNT I AM NEGATIVE $12.50 FOR A TRANSFER FROM MY SAVING ACCOUNT TO MY CHECKING TO COVER THE TRANSACTION.
THIS IS FRAUDULENT AND COMPLETE BS.
THE 1ST “CUSTOMER SERVICE” AGENT I SPOKE WITH NOT ONLY WAS A YOUNG RUDE PUNK BUT HE SAID HE COULDN’T;T TRANSFER ME TO SOMEONE ELSE, LIKE PHYSICALLY COULD NOT. AFTER TELLING HIM I WAS NOT STUPID AND I KNEW HE WAS IN A CALL CENTER I ENDED THE CALL AND CALLED RIGHT BACK.
2ND PERSON THAT ANSWERED I FIRST ASKED HIM IF HE WAS IN A CALL CENTER WITH THE ABILITY TO TRANSFER A CALL AND HE SAID YES.
HE SAID HE COULD CREDIT MY ACCOUNT $3.75 FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, I LAUGHED AT HIM AND SAID I WAS NOT PAYING FOR THEIR MISTAKE - I THEN GOT A “SUPERVISOR”
HE WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE OF THEM ALL.
HE SAID I COULD GO THROUGH EVERY TRANSACTION WITH YOU AND SHOW THAT YOU SPENT MORE MONEY THAN WAS AVAILABLE IN THE ACCOUNT. I TOLD HIM HE HAS NO BUSINESS IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND ALSO NEEDED TO LEARN TO USE A CALCULATOR.
I HAD ZERO PENDING TRANSACTIONS AND MY ACCOUNT WAS EXACTLY @12.50 NEGATIVE (BECAUSE OF THE WELLS FEE)
SERIOUSLY THIS IS CRIMINAL AND THEFT. INSANE. WELLS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR BLATANTLY STEALING FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS.
AGREE - THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I’VE EVER DEALT WITH. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY CANNOT SEEM TO APPLY MY PAYMENTS CORRECTLY. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS - I PAY THROUGH ONLINE BANKING, SPECIFY AMOUNT TO BE APPLIED TO 2 ACCOUNTS, THEY TAKE MY MONEY AND APPLY IT HOWEVER THEY WANT.
As reported in the Nov. 30, 2015 WSJ Wells is famous for their fees. You might contact Emily Glazer at the New York Bureau of the Wall Street Journal. (it is on the internet). She may or she may not contact you but if enough folks contact her she will take notice. You might also contact the Fed. reserve in your area. They too may not do much but if they weigh enough paper they will take notice.
Management of your branch has the ability of reversing the charges. You know if they don’t reverse the charges it would be interesting if you got your friends together and had a panic/protest in front of the branch. If you do make sure that you film it for proprietary. Call the newspaper about two days prior so they can have a crew out to see the fanfare. If they don’t come your film from your IPhone will provide you with amazing coverage.
What Wells does is simply an outrage and they do it because they feel they can even if it creates ethical challenges.. Remember bad publicity is worse that a law suit. the Court of Public Opinion can be devastating. You will find that many big time investors troll the comments section to garner tidbits of what is happening. Ethical issues are very difficult for Sr. Management to defend.
Don’t feel that you are alone as your story is repeated every day. If more had your courage to speak up about the absurdity of what they do, they would cease and really be a bank.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo Bank since 2005. Every month I make deposits from the same vendors, mostly fortune 500 companies. The variance on the deposit total from month to month is very small. After 11 years of banking with Wells Fargo Bank they have decided to put holds on some of my checks. The amounts of these checks vary slightly from month to month. Yesterday they put a hold on one check that was approximately the same amount as the checks I received from this vendor the last 4 months. One check was substantially large than usual and they put a 10 day hold on this check.
Since Wells Fargo wants to play games with my money I will no longer do my banking with Wells Fargo Bank.
Look elsewhere un less you are ethically challenged then opportunities abound.

I had a problem with manager not been professional someone explains wells Fargo policies because when I talk with another branch manager their comments are not the same. This branch manager in Raleigh need to have a customers service class. Wells Fargo this is one person I think manger Chelsea Gillespie do not fix great example of Wells Fargo The guard even note, that she is not professional as the Manager in the past. I pray that Wells Fargo do not have in problem with this lady because she keep asking like she did today you going to have trouble. I would love to talk with someone on this issue. I have been having problems with Wells Fargo in San Antonio, TX. It seems that Wells Fargo was kindly enough to deduct $100.00 from my account (SACU) San Antonio Federal Credit Union but up to now has not credited to my wife’s Wells Fargo Account. Small claims cour is a wonderful resolution. The cost is minimal and in your demand you can ask the court for your court costs. Wells Fargo hates this and will most likely find a way to make you whole.

So I received a money order or check from a mystery shopping gig and i followed the directions attached to it. I deposited the check or money order into my new account, the next day I received a call saying it was fake. I todl the lady that it was not my fault, it was from a mystery shopping gig and it looked absolutely real. She told me that since I was a new customer, I had to repay the bank back or it would go on my credit. Now I have this on my credit and the bank will not let me open a new account. Can someone help please??

Agent. So i mistakenly sent the money to that Account. But after some
days i realized that it was a mistake, and called my Bank (ROYAL BANK
OF CANADA) to recall the money, but couldn’t provide them with enough
information’s on phone to enable them recall the money. I was too
busy, taking care of my mom, hoping that the money have been recalled.
Finally i sent my mom to a Nursing home last two weeks, and returned
to my work. only to notice that the money have not been returned. I
went back to my Bank (ROYAL BANK OF CANADA) and they told me that it
has taken too long, that i should contact the WELLS FARGO BANK or the
Account Owner (REEVAS LLC) i have contacted the Account Owner and he
confirmed to me, that the 1,800 is sitting in his Account, that he has
not touched it. When i requested him to send it back to me, he told me
that the Account is Cash Deposit Account, that he can’t wire money
from that Account, he advised me to recall my money. So i am begging
you to kindly use your good office, to instruct the Manager of the 420
MONTGOMERY BRANCH, to return this money to my Account at ROYAL BANK OF
CANADA. He is free to confirm from the Account owner. Also i authorize
the deduction of the cost of returning the money from the 1,800 U.S.D.
I am sending this mail though your office, because i can’t find the
direct email address of the manager of the 420 MONTGOMERY BRANCH.

I have still a better one. I went to my local WF branch and withdrew monies to pay my real estate taxes. I filled out the withdrawal form signed it presented to the teller and she handed me my cash. I unknowingly requested five dollars more than I had in my account. Three days later I get a $25.00 overdraft from WF. I went to my local branch again and asked them how the hell can I get an over draft on a savings account withdrawal that the teller could see I had $5.00 insufficient funds. No explanation given. Told them have the teller pay the fine. The teller should have told me I was asking for $5.00 more than I had in my account. It was a savings account not a checking. The teller’s screen shows my balance. DAHHHHHHHHHH
A company that had been contracted to clean up damage at my rental was paid a check payable to both the clean up company and Wells Fargo. After calling four different branches to find out the procedure I was given a phone number to obtain a tracking number. Also that I had to be present to show proof of ownership of the property. I was told by Wells Fargo to be present so arrangement were made at the Cinnaminson, NJ branch. After dealing for a half hour with this very antagonistic VP I asked if I was finished. He said yes and I presented him a bill for my time and mileage as it was totally redicucous that I had to attend. When I attempted to give him the bill he basically threw it back at me. When I tried to tell him why he said he was not interested in why.
When I insisted he at least listen why I submitted the bill because of all the inconsistant information I had received and including how he missed things I was told to leave or he would call the police and have me escorted from the premises. I have two accounts and a mortgage with Wells Fargo make that HAD and I am looking to refinance with another company. I had nothing but problems paying my Amex card. I would pay at my branch and they would hold it long enough for me to pay a late charge. This happened at least 6 times.

The customer service number doesn’t really help; doesn’t get you to a person at all & what I needed wasn’t even an option in their menu of choices.
On October 10 I received a call from Wells Fargo fraud alert and was told that some one tried to use my debit card and that since it was suspicious they called me. Turns out that there had been 14 attempts in six months on this card and no one in the past called me. This card was only used in three branches of Wells to only take cash out and never on line, so the first thing I asked is why it took six months to get a call, the next question was how did this card get hacked. The answer that I received was that I am a “High Value Customer” and they did not want to bother me. I have yet to get a true answer and have tried to find the phone number of the president of the bank to call him direct. This bank could care less how much money you have with them and unless I get an answer within two weeks I will be breaking a long relationship with my financial adviser.

and the teller Carmen Feliz was very rude and unprofessional in her demeanor that I could not continue to do my banking. The Branch Manager Jason was not interested in assisting me and was not available to hear my complaint. I was directed to a supervisor “Bruno” who attitude was very defensive when reporting Ms. Feliz rude demeanor-I knew he was not going to do anything about it by his reflective reply to my complaint. I am considering leaving Wells Fargo if I experience anymore unprofessionaism on part of Wells Fargo service representatives.

We had the worse service ever and treated very disrespectfully at the 1540 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida location. The branch we normally use is closed on Saturdays. We were told we could come in to the location noted by the manager of that branch and get documents notarized but when we got there we had to wait over a half hour for the teller (the notary) to finish chatting with another customer and flirting with a group of men. She took one look at the documents which required 8 signatures to be notarized and stated “I don’t get paid enough for this” and handed them back. The branch manager also told us they were not documents that could be notarized even though our purpose there was for them to be notarized. He knew nothing and was wrong. We are clients of Wells Fargo and both the teller and branch manager’s attitude and knowledge was horrible. We went across the street to the UPS store and had everything notarized there with no attitude or problem. This location simply did not want to be bothered and treated us like garbage.

I deposit a check online, taking a picture. This check was deposit on August. Somebody got hold of this check and deposit it again. Wells Fargo has a broken system where a check can be deposit it twice. Now, the money was deducted out of my account and I have to wait 10 days until loss prevention can reimburse my money. This is not the right way to do business.
As soon as the problem is solved, I am pulling out my savings and going to another bank where I can feel secure.
My exhusband opened a trust account with Wells Fargo over 15 years ago. Last year he tried to close the account. Due to Wells Fargo screwing the account up and no one could figure out what to do he was not able to get his money. He lost his home because of this. He is a senior citizen. He died a month ago. I went into a wells branch today with a death certificate, govt. ID and will. The branch manager said I needed some other paperwork from the court. I had what my lawyer said I needed. Well, I asked the branch manager to please write out what I need as I could not understand her. She had a very strong accent. She said your lawyer will know as I said “he said this is all I need.” It is a shame that a bank official does not care enough about their customers to assist with their needs.
I live in Maryland and had a mortgage with Wells Fargo. I tried to get a modification to my mortgage, but with so many Wells Fargo screw ups that didn’t happen. I decided to sell my home via short sale. My realtor had to keep on top of Wells everyday fixing their errors so the sale could go through. No thanks to Wells Fargo the sale went through.

Vilma Carillo then said I am going to ask my Supervisor Joanne Villsrreal who has the authorization to approve the 100 dollars I was needing. have money available and due to a small negative balance the I had for 15 days,

I am a Wells Fargo Customer and have always maintained my accounts in great status. Fortunately these last two month I have medical issues, admitted in the hospital (10days) plus home recovery . My Fiancé deposit a check to my accounts on 10-27-15. The receipt states I will have a certain amount available 10-28-15 and the difference will be available in 7 days. I went to the bank and spoke to representative Vilma Carrillo who has zero Customer Service Educate. I called here 3 times yesterday, no rerun call and she said her phone does not work. Which I think that I also an issue. Reason I went into the bank, my debit card said I had no funds available. Vilma Carrillo said due to negative balance it was applied so in reality I had no funds available. The receipt is very confusing and contradicting doesn’t state the negative. Vilma Carrillo then mentioned she would ask her Supervisor Joanne Villarreal (zero professionalism) who was on her way after 9:30 am. for approval for the 100 dollars I needed of the 8k I deposited. She said no she could not due to my negative balance that I had for 15 days, I was my first time having a negative balance and it wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t in the hospital. I was upset and I asked if I could talk to someone else. I only needed 100.00. Vilma then told me that I didn’t understand bank rules change all the time. She proceeded to raised her voice,as I did mine. Her Supr. who should have said lets me see what I can do or simply try to calm the situation, she just stood there didn’t try to at least express the importance of a customer. Being that I have banking experience from 20 yrs back, it was all about keeping our customers happy. Now these days it’s like they are doing us a favor!!!! . They have time to sell pots, on personal calls, but not return customer calls or even try to keep their good customers. Very sad!!!! Some if not all need Customer Service training. I would strongly recommend it. I will be closing my accounts. As for your two employees Vilma Carrillo, Joanne Villarreal) they need to be more professional, clear on what the customers needs are and not only on rules.

I went in to deposit my check which was from chase but obviously i had to deposit it in my account which is at wells fargo , where i was rudely answered by the service manager that they don’t cash those checks, but they would make an exception (with attitude) and when i asked when my check would show as cleared she rudely answered just wake up tomorrow and it will be there ok. so i didnt have have any cash on me so i said can i withdraw the 5 dlls available which i was answered by i sigh of ugghhh and she responded you want to withdraw 5 dlls?? so everyone heard and was very embarrassed. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was the manager, so i called and it just so happens no other managers are available until one more week only her.
I too have MANY COMPLAINTS about this bank: The bank at 11730 Preston Road, Dallas TX address has a teller by the name of Joann Garrett who takes the #1 spot for ALL rude tellers! She is an UGLY, OLD, FAT, BITTER, EXTREMELY RUDE AND PSYCHO W-I-T-C-H! I have had RUDE cashiers, waitresses, etc. in my entire life at the many restaurants And/Or stores that i have been to, BUT this FAT, BITTER W-I-T-C-H (joann g.) HAS BEEN THE WORST one of all! IN FRONT of her manager (Elena Miller), she was yelling at me, TRIED to change the story around that i was first rude to her, when IT WAS HER who was FIRST rude TO ME, and then she got real close to me (LITERALLY an INCH from MY face) and pointed her pointy finger AT ME! I CAN’T believe that NOT even like that, her manager (Elena M.) fired her! I ALSO complained to the other manager (Pete H.) AND i ALSO complained to the Dallas District Manager (Paul ?) AND STILL WITH ALL of MY proof, they did NOT fire joann g.! Can Y’all believe that??!! THIS IS THE WORST customer service that i have EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Wells fargo accounts are not safe to accept checks from and if you do accept one and it turns out to be bogus with an active account number on it then you are stuck with no help from WF.

I was just hung up on trying to talk to a boss or manager of some kind. She told me it wouldn’t do any good and our conversation was finished and hung up on me.
I had heard good things about wells fargo, so when I moved I opened a new account with them!I banked with them for almost a year with no problems, staff was friendly and very helpful!Last month I had applied for a loan online for $2000. The loan officer complained to me that he was unable to transfer money into my account, he attempted several times to no avail! He then requested that I get an access code from bank to make deposit, so I went to my main branch and was told they do not give an access code and gave me a wire transfer number! Long story short the loan company appeared to be a scam! The fraud department of wells fargo was alerted and they put a lock on my account, not even I could access my account! I was told the lock would be in effect during investigation up to 10 days! On day 8 they started the lock all over again! so another 10 days! After several days I called the fraud dept, to get stays report for I am on disability and it is dire that issue be resolved before my money hits the bank! At that time I was told lock was lifted! So Next day went into my main branch to start a bill pay and was told the lock was still active, the banker spoke with fraud dept and found out that they were closing my account on the 28th of August! I however was not notified of this action! My banker even asked them if they had any intention of telling the client of the action they were taking! I was greatly upset my disability check being direct deposited on the 3rd would be returned and would be weeks before I got paid! I requested a extension till I got my pay! My request was denied! some bank right? they knew I was on dit wells fargo could care less! oh and reason for closing my account ” They Chose Too”! pretty messed up! I did nothing wrong, never was in the negative and they won’t give me a valid reason for closing my account and ruing my life! I will never recommend them, I am also contacting corperate and turning them into better business! They practice bad business! I could see it if I did something wrong but I didn’t! now my world is upside down! My advice! Don’t use WELLS FARGO! Down and out in Florida!, is there any legal help I can get?
we got scam for a online job and we have had to pay 2350 back twice due to them running the bad check again. then told us it was a system error.. so we have payed this back twice ive cashed my retirement in..we have become homeless cause they where take every bit of money we where getting so how is that right i want this fixed..any advice on what to do ?

I recently attempted A business account. I then discovered that someone had 3 business accounts in my name. All accounts were open by the same banker. There are no documents for any accounts. No identification, no signatures. So clear cut fraud. Wells explains that in 2014 bankers were allowed to open accounts without signatures. How is it a legal binding contract. Wells is covering for banker and My name has now been entered into check system. No bank will open account and Wells is still allowing this banker to work. I’m baffled at this.
They made so much money out of all of us. Now I am asking to all consumers to boycott Wells Fargo bank and let’s support our local small banks they deserve it. And support all the credit unions banks.

For 6 years Wells Fargo had us in a loan modification review.telling us not to pay our mortgage.we were put on forbearance 3 times and paid it only to be told we had to pay thr difference.i have a box of every and all paperwork. A list of everyone I spoke to. And the names of all the loan modification specialists and the people from the office of the President. All their promises and all the emails.i received 19 intents to foreclose in one day. During this my husband had a heart attack. I had stomach problems and depression. In August of 2013 Wells Fargo took our home of 29 years from my whole family. Now we rent. Our credit is ruined. We can’t get a loan and no one will give us a mortgage. We lost so very much. This has got to be the worse bank. How do these people that lie for a living sleep at night.we bailed them out but they won’t save the people. How the hell does this happen. Why isn’t that bank closed?
From 2007-2013 we were on a loan modification. We were told we were in review and need not pay our mortgage. The paperwork was over wellming,but we did it. Every time they received it they would write and say they were missing something. Over and over again. I have a box full of paperwork and names of every loan modification specialist and person from the office of the president one day 19 letters stating foreclosure came.we were put on temporary forbearance, 3x.paid what they asked for eveerytime.after the forbearance was over they would ask for the difference.this went on for 6 years. In this time my husband had a heart attack,triple by pass.i lost my job. No one and I mean no one at Wells Fargo helped us.we even wrote to the NJ banking commission.well in August 2013 they took our home of 29 years and now we are renting today NADIA mortgage co. That is part of Wells Fargo calls,not me but someone I know and says they need to speak to me about our loan request.something else right. I would not recommend,suggest or anything that people use Well Fargo. I do not want mail or phone calls from Wells or anyone associated with them.

I have been trying to get a payoff figure, as of May 15th, since April.In June they mailed me figures that were higher than my July statement. When questioned they claim the statement is an advisory figure only and cannot be relied upon I just completed my Chapter 13 Bankrupcy. My name is mr Boyle. I have a home mortgage, checking, savings and 401k accounts with your company. I’m informing you due to the lack of follow through, understanding that your company made a mistake and mislead me. I have placed a stop payment on my bi-weekly mortgage payment. I have paid my previous mortgage company (suntrust) for over 10 years and never stopped or missed a payment. I am however new to your company and probably don’t seem like much. This is a first for me not to pay a bill on time. I called your company in early May to inform you that under no circumstance was travelers insurance to be paid. I was assured by your staff that this would not happen without my consent and their were no attempts to bill my escrow account. It happened anyway 2 weeks after my phone call to your company. I called again and I was assured that the money was to be returned to my escrow account from travelers to Wells Fargo. This didn’t happen, I receive a letter instead saying that I had to return the check travelers sent to me to Wells Fargo. (Which I did not receive) I called again and was told that they could not reach travelers and I would receive a phone call 2 days later. I did not receive any phone calls. I call again 4 days later and I am told that they will mail another check to Wells Fargo in 7 to 10 business days. (Yes again) I am also told that I did not say that I told your company to not pay them. No one can conveniently find the first phone call I placed only the 2nd phone call that day asking for the account # so I can warn my current insurance company about the mix up. (I’m sure foremost records their phone calls too) I am treated hostilely by the manager when I tell her that I reported to not pay weeks before it was paid to travelers. And of course it’s my responsibility even though I was assured it was taken care of. (2 hour and 2 minute phone call by this time) I can at this point hear others laughing in the background of the phone call. I’m glad your company finds this amusing. So I am notifying you that I will not send you anymore money to lose or mismanage. I will be contacting legal advice about a subpoena for these phone records (recommended by your manager) to prove that I indeed called your company about this matter and of course the mental anguish I have suffered from this situation.

Our home preservation specialist was supposed to call Tuesday, July 7 … but hasn’t called. I have called and left messages. No response. We are behind on our mortgage payments and now WFHM won’t take payments anymore and is accessing huge fees. This isn’t fair. Help us.
I have a well fargo mortgage. The account is in auto pay and wells fargo basically canceled auto pay and did not notify me since they claimed to have the wrong mailing address and no phone number. I had been out of the country for few month and my property was put under foreclosure. The first communication that I received regarding foreclosure was by a bogus letter from an attorney At Bww Law group - mark cohen without even the property address or what I was sued for. I had to go to a branch to investigate and I was finally told about the foreclosure issues. Immediately I went to the bank where the auto pay is taken from and the bank stated that wells fargo stopped deducting the payments via autopay. Now I am behind several mortgage payments due to Wells fargo terrible auto pay system. I immediately got a cashier check for an amount over 100,000 dollars to pay the unpaid mortgage via autopay and the wells fargo wont receive since they want to hit me with a lot of interest and penalties. Wells fargo is taking advantage of its customers and using their inefficient customer service to accumulate additional fees after already making high profits from interest rates. I am very disappointed with well fargo’s business practices.
wells fargo is awful and I wouldn’t referred them to a herd of ants. They are very unprofessional and their representatives don’t know how to talk to customers. Beware of dealing with Wells Fargo when I was in the military Wells Fargo closed my business line of credit account as well as my other accounts and sent me to collections. When I returned home from duty I was told the the account was closed and I would have to higher a lawyer to fight the closure of my accounts. The bank was notified of my military service and violated the soldiers and saliors act. I’m looking into sueing Wells Fargo for there negligence and all the problems they have cause due to their violations of an act meant to protect from this type of issues happening. Beware in your dealing with a bank that thinks they can just violate the law and hide behind their lawyers.

My 76 year old mother had a check cashing issue with a manager in ocala fl silver springs shores branch and she was told to leave the bank and her accounts would be closed who do we contact about getting her money the bank manager was rude and very unprofessional. my mother has had a account there for 23 years. I don’t like the fact that I am getting lied to about receiving a refund from my secured card. Was told it was going to get processed now that was over 2 weeks ago. I checked back and get told that I have to wait over 60 days. To hold as collateral I think if the account shows closed the charges would just get declined and the creditor would contact me regarding the issue. That is usually what happens with other cards. I ask to speak to a supervisor and get placed on hold for over 5 minutes, finally when she comes on the line with a supervisor she just says sorry. I need my money this is why I am closing all my accounts with Wells Fargo no care for their customers and horrible customer service. I am going to tell all my friends family and social media what a horrible company and lack of empathy you have for customers.

I changed my business account to Wells Faro, this was the worst experience and mistake of my life! I have a small car dealership, one of my customers made a deposited into my account to buy a few cars for him, I guess Wells Fargo was unhappy with the transaction because they froze my account with out letting me know anything. They called my customer and he verified that he did the wire to buy cars and they are still holding my money without a reason why they got made at me for asking about my money and said that they would close my account, which is fine with me because after this experience I had plan to go back to the bank that I had been problem free with for years. But now they will not release my funds for 10 business days. After 6 months of hard work to land this customer he will never do business with me again Wells Fargo is ruining my business. The branch manager told me they are holding my money because they can….WOW….this is unheard of I am being treated like a piece of trash. The bank has hurt me financially for years since my layoff, and of course, emotional and mental damage as I struggle. They refused to work with me on how I need help, not how to still get money in their pockets. They took my car the day before I was going for a new job (which I could not get since I had no job). They stole, to satisfy loans I can not pay, my emergency funds of $4000 I deposited to back pay rent and buy food. I have nothing left but a BS, AS, A+, ruined credit from 800 to 300, and a temp job. I made a mistake in my checking account recently. I called the customer service number and talked with a customer rep. I have two bank accounts one with Wells Fargo and one with my local CU. My husband deposited money in the CU account for me and I misunderstood and thought that he had deposited the money in my Wells Fargo account because that is what I have it for. I made charges in the WF account and in turn there was not enough money there and I was charged 35.00 dollars for every time something came through. This amounted to 280.00 that I was charged. When I call they returned 6 dollars and change for the last three od charges. I have made other mishaps in my account but I never asked that the od fees be returned because they were my fault. But I think this 280.00 was not any intention of mine and I would like to be refunded. I understand that I do not have that much money in my account at WF but I am a customer. I was thinking about moving both my accounts and the household accounts to WF because they are always so nice and helpful when you go inside a WF facility. But it must be a game because that is not the case when you make a mistake. No one has time for you then. I have heard other horror stories about WF but I refused to listen and take them seriously. I am asking that you please return the OD fees.
We have a loan through Wells Fargo and pay it religiously every month. My husband even kept up on a double mortgage when he was stationed elsewhere and our renters moved out on us without notice. When Obama put a stop on payment in 2012 it messed with the entire military’s pay roll. We were 4 days late. First time in 9 years. Wells Fargo called us a number of 56 times. Most banks allow 30 days to be late. To make it even worse, the majority of those calls were from the Phillipines. We have so many people in our own country that are without jobs and they are outsourcing all of their work to people that couldn’t t even understand what I was telling them. I had to repeat everything I said in slow motion. There service is poor! There people are rude and if you notice, they do not offer a corporate contact number. Wonder why??????

I called the wells fargo bank to speak with the teller I had just finished doing my transaction with and I was put on hold for approximately 15 minutes and no one ever preceded to tell me anything. I did call back and let the phone ring for about another 15minutes and the same person answered the phone and was very rude and obnoxious in telling the teller was busy and she had forgotten to relay the message.worst experience ever in dealing with a bank. MY DAUGHTER OPENED AN WITH WELLS FARGO AS A REGISTRY FOR HER WEDDING GIFT REGISTRY. THE CURRENT BIG BROTHER ATTITUDE OF BEING ” PRO ACTIVE”on my behalf is arrogant and insulting. I, the client, have the legal right to determine if I want an account closed, frozen or reissued…after I have the facts!
I recently went to my local bank branch on Columbian a circle in Columbia South Carolina to cash a check for $300 and go buy concert tickets apparently the teller said she misread the check for 700 dollars which I never received… so Wells Fargo deducted 400$ out of my savings account without any notification…. which was for my children’s vacation for the summer and will not return it even though it was a teller error supposedly…I have closed my accounts and after 12yrs am say goodbye because I want to know my money is safe and I want a bank that values me as a costumer
I have two mortgages with Wells Fargo and have paid faithfully for years. On my second mortgage, I have actually paid 3,688.06 in additional payments toward the principal in the last year. That said, when paying online last month, my husband made an error in the amount and Wells Fargo was short changed 21 cents. This resulted two weeks later in a phone call threatening to send me to a collection agency, if I did not pay up immediately. Needless to say, I am livid and if I do not get an apology for the shabby way I was treated, I will spread this all over social media.
I have a well fargo mortgage. The account is in auto pay and wells fargo basically canceled auto pay and did not notify me since they claimed to have the wrong mailing address and no phone number. I had been out of the country for few month and my property was put under foreclosure. The first communication that I received regarding foreclosure was by a bogus letter from an attorney At Bww Law group - mark cohen without even the property address or what I was sued for. I had to go to a branch to investigate and I was finally told about the foreclosure issues. Immediately I went to the bank where the auto pay is taken from and the bank stated that wells fargo stopped deducting the payments via autopay. Now I am behind several mortgage payments due to Wells fargo terrible auto pay system. I immediately got a cashier check for an amount over 100,000 dollars to pay the unpaid mortgage via autopay and the wells fargo wont receive since they want to hit me with a lot of interest and penalties. Wells fargo is taking advantage of its customers and using their inefficient customer service to accumulate additional fees after already making high profits from interest rates. I am very disappointed with well fargo’s business practices.
Be nice if a person could go inside a wellsfargo to try to make a deposit without being harassed about using wells Fargo for auto insurance, and about opening up a second savings account , or a credit card with them.
I go through this harassment everytime I go inside the branch, and outside the branch I hear people swearing because they are irritated about the exact same issue I am talking about here.
Wellsfargo thinks they are increasing their sales, but it actually is driving business away, along ways away. Take it for what you will, but it’s the honest truth!!!!!
Wells Fargo screwed me once again they charged me but that’s besides the point whatever her name is Adrianna Hernandez the lady that was supposed to help me resolve my issue. As much as I hear all the good things about this bank you should have better characters working and dealing with your customers I’m not ever telling anyone to call or anything because she was so rude please do something about her and tell her when she can come see about me tricking ass bitch she took money from my account.
i contacted Wells Fargo, (my bank), over two months ago to get approved for a mortgage. I was assigned a loan officer and began the process to get a $169,000 mortgage for a home I’m buying in TN. Since my credit score is in the 600’s, and despite the fact I have been working diligently to repair it because of medical bills, and despite the fact I make more than $70,000 a year, all of which goes into a Wells Fargo, (my bank), account via direct deposit, I was told it was being sent to underwriting and would take 7-10 business days. After 15 business days I attempted to contact my loan officer and learned via e-mail that she would be out of the office until the end of March, this was mid March. My call was sent to another loan officers’ voice mail and I left a message. At this point, I started the loan process with another lender, (not my bank). I’m happy to say that I close on my home in 2 days and not with Wells Fargo, (no longer my bank in 2 days). Oh, and by the way, I never received one e-mail or call from Wells (doesn’t care about the little guy), Fargo.

I live in the state of Florida and my mother is 72 and live in the state of Maryland. and I am very dissatisfied with the help wash your face not help that she’s getting from one of your branches. she’s an elderly lady and she needs to exchange money and they giving her the runaround. my mother do not go to the bank everyday she keeps money put up in her house and used it until she runs out because she’s older and lives by herself. I can’t believe how an elderly woman is being treated about old 50 dollar bills that she has and she can’t use it seem like someone will be able to assist her in doing something better just any pushing it to the side.

Hi we at Shorter Trucking Services has tried to establish a business relationship with Wells Fargo and yet you have continued to turn us down. From Credit Cards to Small business loans so that our company can continue to grow. As I’m sure you can see the amount of cash flow that has went in/out of our Wells Fargo account. We are at a loss of words but to continue to get turned down from a bank we trust and keep our hard earned money in will no longer be a option for us.
Run as far as you can from Well Fargo. We had a very lucrative business and when the construction crashed we were hit hard. My husband missed a few loan payments to wells fargo and they froze all of our accounts including the personal account with my name and his on it. Mind you my name is not on his business. So I could not go shop for food for my family or anything else for that matter until they decided to unfreeze and pull his name off of my accounts.
I AM EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS IN REFERENCE A SITUATION WITH THE RETIREMENT SERVICES DIVISION. THE SITUATION IN QUESTION WAS UNKNOWN AT THE TIME HOWEVER THE OCCURRENCE IS AN ERROR ON THE PART OF WELLS FARGO AND I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN THE CORPORATE HIERARCHY OTHER THAN A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WHICH HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER.
The Las Vegas management team representing Wells Fargo area needs a close management review. Management has great difficulty in separating truth from fancy. Management does however attempts protect the good name and reputation of the company even though they have difficulty with the truth simply hoping that problems will simply disappear. One has to question where or not they are ethically challenged and can claim an ADA disability waiver due to their impediment. Both Sr. Management and the Board of Directors are aware of the issues. To date their management solution is to simply pass the problem back to those who are responsible for the initial problems. If the Wells Fargo Sr. Management owned a flock of sheep they would buy some wolves to guard the sheep. All levels of management are all very dignified and corporate, but they fundamentally believe in passive management and it appears that they wrestle horribly with the truth,especially when it challenges what they in fact have done.

Your situation is easily addressed. The investment division is highly regulated. You simply have to as your representative who his/her OSJ is. If they do not know go directly to the head compliance officer of Wells. Contact FINRA with the same letter. You don’t need an attorney you just need to get tWells’ attention. By going directly to the regulators they will immediately respond as the penalty may exceed the value of your retirement plan and there is virtually no recourse for Wells. It is truly a one way street in factor of the regulators.
I would like to say that there is no regard for the safety of your employees. We are having inclement weather in NC especially the Raleigh Durham area. My husband travels 45 mins to work. He was not given the option to leave early when the weather and roads worsened. If he had not come in for his shift in the inclement weather he would have been reprimanded I’m sure. Now he is having to pay for a hotel in the area as well extra food and clothing. This would not have been necessary had the company and/or his supervisors been concerned about his safety or the safety of the other employees.
The tellers at your bank in Lehigh Acres, Florida on Homestead Ave. need to dress more modestly. Having to stand in front of a young girl with her breasts hanging out is not what I want to see when I enter your bank. I would hope that Wells Fargo has a dress code. Thank you.
I wish the female tellers at my bank would walk around with their breasts hanging out cuz I DO WANT TO see that. Maybe they could arrange for a transfer/swap of employees from your branch to my branch! That would be great 🙂
I live at 2141 Bertha Street, Kannapolis, North Carolina 28083. On January 13 I was told that my mortgage payment did not go through at my bank because there was no money. I checked with my bank and there had not been an attempt to process my auto draft. I paid the payment over the phone. then on January 15 they took another payment out of my account leaving my account at a 0 balance. I have been trying to get my money put in my account every since. I was put in a very back position as during this time I had death in my family and I told them that. I have been getting the run around for over a week being told different lies regarding putting my money back in my account. I have bills to pay and it was my bill money that was taken. Sir or Madam the money was in my account and someone drop the ball with the auto draft on the 3rd of January. Social Security deposited the money in my account on January 2nd because the 3rd was on a Saturday.
I am very frustrated about this situation. I have never missed a payment in over 6 years that is why I set up the auto pay. I feel that an injustice has been done to me. I really need someone to call me and please, please handle this for me. I have been back and forth since last Saturday January 17th when I found out my account had been debited a second. I pray that someone will get this matter straighten out for me. I have bills due to be paid before the 27th of the month.

Contact your attorney general we did when we had problems similar to yours and we got our money no problem and a apology letter.
We contacted the New Jersey banking commission, our senator. Nobody, I truly mean nobody would help us. We lost our home of 29 years.
